Unless you are totally desperate don't shop here. Almost all cars come from auction, and will likely to break down before you've had it a year. My wife and I were looking for a car for my son. We were looking at a couole couole, but we're talked into a old RAV4. Less than 3 m.onths later the alternator battery and transmission all went out. Going to end up paying half again what we paid just to get it fixed. Take the trip down the hill and find a good used car. read more

This place is a "what you see, is what you get" kinda place. We've purchased 3 cars from them and you have to realize that you're buying a used car, likely from an auction and you must have the car checked by your own mechanic. Our first car was a Jeep and we paid it off and still have it 4 years later. We've had to put some money into it, but nothing crazy. The second car, blew up within a week. It had no warranty and the dealership didn't have to work with us, but they bent over backwards to do so. The owner felt so bad and lost a great deal of money by working with us. I have to say that my husband and I were so touched and impressed. We bought a third car about a month ago and so far so good!! They definitely try and work with everyone, especially if you have a good payment history with them. The interest rates will be steep. The buying process will be from the stone ages and take a long time. Plus, they do NOT report GOOD credit to the credit bureaus. They will however provide you with a letter explaining your payment history with them. Small town, unique experience!! read more

My experience with Mountain Magic Motors was indeed Magical. As a traveling health care provider who travels across the country routinely, I needed an economical car. I bought a Toyota Rav4 and left the state for a travel assignment. All was well for a year until I suddenly became disabled. I couldn't pay my car payment for 5 months until my disability checks started to come in the mail. Yet I was treated VERY well, not harrassed by staff at all, and instead staff called to see how I was doing. Vehicles sold here have hidden mechanical defects. I bought a vehicle with a blown head gasket that wasn't discovered till 2 days after i purchased it. Tried to take it back to them for repairs but they only told me " sorry...you buy As-is". Ive talked to many other locals who have similar experiences so they have a growing negative reputation. Just ask any repair shop in town and they will tell you most of their business comes from vehicles purchased at Magic Motors. I don't know know how they stay in business. You will have better luck getting a car from Craigslist than Magic Motors. read more

Odometer Fraud. Just bought a vehicle from these guys, made repairs as needed then got a car fax report and found out that the odometer had been shaved about 150,000 miles. Dealer refused to make the deal right either by buying the truck back with the money invested, or compensating me for the mileage difference. They wanted the truck back at the sale price so they could dupe someone else interested in it. Would never use these guys again. read more
