First time trying this place and we were all impressed! The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and happy to let us sample different flavors while offering great recommendations. The laid-back atmosphere, both inside and on the patio, makes it the perfect spot to relax, linger, and enjoy your gelato. Everything we tried was delicious, and it's easy to see why this place has such a loyal following. The only downside is the price. It's a bit on the expensive side, and if it were a little more affordable, we'd probably visit more often. What a cute place! They had indoor and outdoor seating and I loved the decor inside. They also stay open later for during the summer time. We were greeted when we came in and the young lady who helped us was really friendly and helped us with our choices. I got a jumbo coffee macaron, my boyfriend got the mini cannoli and an affogato. We also got a pup cup for his aunt's dog which she loved. We loved everything! I would give the place more of a 4.5 really. Would definitely go back. read more

I got a beautiful mango key lime gelato cake here for my child's birthday, and while it was a good experience overall, there are a few areas that could be improved for a $60 cake. The flavor combination itself was quite good, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the gelato. However, the decorative meringue bites on top were unfortunately very hard and chewy, which detracted from the quality of the ingredients I expected at this price point. Additionally, the packaging could be upgraded; the box didn't feel quite secure enough for a premium frozen dessert, even for our short 5-mile drive home. It is a solid four-star product with great flavors, but a few adjustments to the toppings and presentation would easily make it a five-star experience. Service was also okay and staff attentiveness definitely needs to step it up. read more

A cute little gelato shop with a good size selection of gelatos and sorbets. They also had other pastries and treats. You can get the frozen delights in either a cup or cone. The service was friendly, the cost wasn't too much and we enjoyed sitting on their patio and just relaxing. read more

So I waited a week to post because I really don't like leaving poor reviews. 2 stars instead of 1 because the staff was very friendly and great with letting my niece and I sample flavors before choosing. The shop is beautiful and has lots of great options for sweets. While enjoying our gelato there was a hair in mine and I while i didn't take a photo because I immediately took it to the counter to let one of the young ladies see what was in my cup. She did offer to give me another scoop and I declined but that seemed to be it. I let her know the flavor of the gelato that had the hair and she nonchalantly said ok but didn't seem like there was going to be any action to remove that flavor from being served going forward before we left. read more

They make a very memorable impression. I also had the chance to work with Mari, the executive pastry chef at the Castle Rock location, on a custom taro gelato. Taro is one of my personal favorite flavors, but it's rarely seen in Colorado and even more rarely done well. Mari created a version that was beautifully creamy, with the taro flavor front and center--subtle, as it should be, but never lost. The sweetness was balanced and supported the flavor rather than overpowering it. She later incorporated it into a custom cake paired with coconut and vanilla, and the result was outstanding. The textures, flavors, and overall execution were all excellent. The interior of the shop is clean, modern, and inviting--an ideal setting to enjoy something truly well made. Gelato & Co is worth seeking out. This place told me they import pistachios direct from Italy. Wow! Amazing! And all I can do is dream of when I can come here again. My favorite flavor is the Brownie Batter, we've also tried the Strawberry, Berry Cheesecake, Palisade Peach, Key lime and Vanilla, all good! So many to choose from. They also sell other goodies, and cakes as well. The staff is friendly and the service is prompt. The atmosphere is nice with plenty of seating. There are places to park in the front of the store as well. I highly recommend checking this place out. They also have a location in Highlands Ranch that I haven't tried yet, but I plan to in the future. read more

I thought I will take 2 scoops then it will be nice but the first scoop I didn't even see it as much it was so small, on top of it she add the second scoop and also very small that it was obvious the size between my ice cream and my wife ice cream. We visited Gelato & Co's new location in Castle Rock for its grand opening. We were really surprised at how many options there were. There were pastries and other desserts in addition to gelato. But their gelato counter alone would be enough to make the whole family happy! There were so many flavors! The store is cute! Has a homey, clean, nostalgic farmhouse vibe. There were plenty of seats available both inside and outside. The biggest compliment we can give is in the way it reminded my wife of ice cream she gets in Germany. They are the kindest humans beings, and I am very much grateful that they were working this evening. I love this place and come in often, but tonight I was not in the best spirits. After a very troubling week, I decided to treat myself to some gelato. The two ladies working behind the counter were so welcoming and inviting when I walked in. This is the best ice cream dessert gelato spot in Castlerock there is another ice cream spot up the street smart cow there's also a gelato in downtown Castlerock and they do not compare at all to the taste and quality of these desserts so good super clean inside and service was great! Very attractive and well lit venue. Beautifully displayed desserts and treats in the cases. Superb showmanship here. The team has always been young people when I've stopped by in the evening. Without exception, they're friendly, courteous and respectful. Very committed to their respective roles. The gelato is good, sorbet, too. Decided to grab a Sunday evening gelato dessert. The shop is very bright, inviting and the staff were friendly. Super CLEAN with someone wiping off tables and checking in with customers. I got a small cookie dough flavor and my husband ordered a pistachio. The cookie dough was a delicious flavor, but had a few mini chocolate chips instead of the cookie dough bits that are typical. The pistachio was green but had little flavor. We were really disappointed in the serving size as the one scoop gelato didn't even fill the cup for $6. We also got a pineapple almond pastry for $8. I was told the pastries are made fresh every morning. Nope! It was dry and tasted as if it had sat in the case for several days. I've gone to the Gelato & Co in Highlands Ranch and was totally delighted in the product. We'll wait a few months and try the Castle Rock shop again after staff is better trained and they get the recipes down. read more
