I don't get why they get bad reviews at this location. We were hesitant at first but I am glad we decided to give this pizza place a try. My husband called to place an order, and the staff member who answered was very friendly. The pizza was ready on time and it was delicious! We ordered the Combo pizza but substituted the bell peppers with jalapeños. The crust was perfect, the pizza toppings were fresh and the pizza was loaded with them. Last minute, my husband ordered a side of mini churros and oh my! They were delicious!! Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. They were also not too sweet, it was overall the perfect dessert. I am glad we decided to give this Mount Mike's location a try! We will be back. read more

Order 3 pizzas at 12pm for 4pm pick up and came to pick up around 4:30. They said the order wasn't ready yet and needed 7 more minutes. Came back 20mins later and still wasn't ready after 5pm we finally got our order. The staff i unpleasant and rude and got our order wrong as well. This is my fav mt mikes location. Compared to other locations, this place really lathers on the sauce which I love. Other places put on sauce like it's butter and u are on a diet. Staff is polite. U can always ask for paper plates, cheese and chili pepper flakes on the side. I usually order online and pick up. Heart shaped pepperoni pizzas are nice, so is snowy alps and bbq chicken luau if u need suggestions. read more

What has happened to Mtn Mikes?! We ordered from them for years. But as of last year the quality and quantity has changed drastically. What is happening? Ordering is more difficult. Well don't order online because once you get to the restaurant you'll be met with 4 workers just standing around who tell you they just "didn't make your pizza" but if you want to wait another 15-20 minutes they can make it. Not with the 40 minutes they had from the time I placed it to when I said my scheduled pickup time would be. Mind you they were not busy at all. They were all just standing around. The girl just said sorry we didn't make it you can have a refund and was completely unhelpful and rude in resolving the issue they decided to make. Damn, this place has 2 stars? Granted I've only ordered from this location once, I've had Mountain Mike's in three locations, this being the first. Their pizza is super awesome tasty. It's got a nice, smoky, woodfire flair to it. I'd say it's hard to screw up one of their pizzas. But it's also expensive as hell, just like Round Table. Tasty pizza out in these parts is gonna cost you because everyone buys in to the fact that they should be parallel with San Francisco prices. For a good deal, you'd probably have to go Tracy. I ordered a small pizza for delivery to a Rest Home in the area for my Mom and Karla was super helpful and understanding. Once I got the pizza all ordered and paid for etc., we hung up. She called me back to let me know that the delivery driver said he wouldn't be able to go to her room to deliver the pizza. I thanked her for the call back and apologized for forgetting to let them know to take it to the front desk and they would deliver it to my Mom. Karla wrote my Mom's name and room number on the box so it go to my Mom while it was still hot. I let my Mom know when to expect the pizza and she called me when she got it and said thank you very much. Mountain mikes is one of my favorite pizza places to go to. Excellent taste. This one in particular the taste wasn't bad but the customer service was horrible.. Went in at 1210 for lunch since they have the buffet from 11-2 pm I believe, they had nothing I mean NOTHING ready at 1210 no pizza. For a customer who is on a hour lunch 12-1 this is unacceptable. By 1230 the pizza were out so we had to gobble down the food:/ the way employee talk to you in my opinion is very cold attitude. You ask for something they make a facial gesture like they were asked to do the impossible. I will not be going back here to this particular mountain mike for such reasons. My tip is to go to the other one on Clayton by the bowling center, way better customer service. read more

I really wish I could give zero stars. I was very disappointed with the customer service. After seeing the owner in action, disrespectfully reprimand one of the younger employees behind the counter. Also after being inconvenienced my last visit and explaining the error to the owner, I basically received a blank stare and absolutely no response.
