What a joke. Let me preface this by saying I have worked in the food industry before. I get it. Customers can be rude. Sometimes situations are out of your control. But his place. I don't even know where to start. About 4-5 younger kids all on their phones when you walk in. No warm welcome or greeting. Nothing. I ask "How long will two personal pizzas take?" To which the girl replied "10-15 minutes" Cool. Not bad. We order chicken wings too after I tell the girl 10-15 is great. It's been a long day and that's a reasonable amount of time. 25-30 minutes later. After asking twice for an eta (I must have been interrupting their cell phone activities) they say it isn't ready. Wow. Really? The 4-5 kids working in the kitchen start snickering and glaring at me. Ordering wings apparently makes the order take longer. Why didn't the cashier tell me when I said I was hoping for something quick and 10-15 was fine. If the wings take 25-35 minutes SHE SHOULD HAVE SAID SOMETHING. Review is based on well over a dozen visits, mostly delivery but also some take out. Pros: - Good pizza! Generous toppings and a thick crust. Their pepperoni is excellent- it's the kind that curls up and gets crunchy on the edges, as long as there are no other toppings on top of it. Occasionally the crust is a bit underdone on top if you get a lot of toppings, but that's a minor quibble. Overall a good pie. - Good value. Prices are reasonable and there are always good specials, too. Cons: - Not a very inviting interior, and the staff show pretty poor customer service skills at times. However, if you just get delivery or takeout, this is not really much of an issue. Verdict: I will continue to order from my local Mountain Mikes. I like the pizza. We'll go over some fundamentals, including what not to do once you're there. As a loyal customer to this Mountain Mikes, I've experienced both the good and bad sides from ordering here. To conjure the grandest fulfillment from your pizza experience, the first step is to NOT order online. Avoid ordering through any online channel. This is a huge mistake as illustrated by the many low accounted reviews. Call by phone if you're planning to pick-up. It's extremely difficult, to say the least, for staff to hear you on the other line. Either there's a lot of background noise or phones just suck, no one to blame. Be patient when ordering, someone might be juggling 8 things while you're on the telephone grasped by a pinky... who knows. Repeat your order! It helps to restate your order so that it's clear on the other line. Once your order has been finalized, they'll usually say that your pizza will be ready in 30 minutes or so. I usually give them 40 minutes for cushion and lag time. Once you arrive for pick-up, well it's pick-up. Ask for your plates, utensils/ napkins after receiving your pizza. Obvious right? Just get your order and bounce. The most important thing is to not rush them if your order isn't ready yet, it'll only make things worse. I rarely stay to dine as the ambience is a bit gloomy. Seemingly, a lot of the staff here have major attitude and you might catch them when they're hangry themselves... Maybe that's always. There's also a really nice girl, maybe Filipina who does an exceptional job and with service. There's an Indian girl with major attitude though, so watch out for her! Regardless, service is a toss up and pizza has always been delicious. On a side note, the buffalo wings are ight! Nothing too special about them. They are what they are. read more

In my area we usually eat Pizza Guys but today we decided to scale the Mountain. Good call. All you can eat pizza and salad for $6.99? Tough to beat. I like their specialty pizzas the best. We got the half pineapple chicken luau,half pepperoni combo. Very yummy for only $12. Look it's no Escape from New York Pizza, and the sauce is average, but they also don't skimp on toppings either. This location NEVER makes the pizza we order correct. How hard is it to remove onion and tomato on a pizza!!!!! There website and menu say the Snow Alps pizza has tomato and green onion, but their computer system does not have a choice to remove the green onion, so we get onions!!! I called and spoke to the manager on duty and asked him to adjust my bill because it was cold and took forever. He told me no, he could not do anything for me. Leave it to me - "Oh snap, a new takeout place!" Dominos is our cheap pizza standby when we aren't feeling quite flush enough to hit Round Table or Skip's, so it was nice to find an equally priced alternative. They offer simple online ordering, and our pizza arrived very quickly, well under their estimated delivery time. Wahoo! We kept it simple and stuck with their classic pepperoni, scoring a coupon on their website for a large 1-topping for $13.99. A generous large, dotted with lovely pepperoni and cut into thin slices, just how I like it! The pizza was decent, certainly good enough for the price, but as I ate more, I became less dazzled and noticed how thick their crust is. Their toppings were tasty but I think a crust this thick and doughy overwhelms the flavors. They also aren't super generous with cheese, so in the future I would have to employ the same trick I do at Dominos - extra cheese always, to make the pizza tastier.. I have been a customer here for years but tonight was the last time. There have been multiple instances in the past where the cashier's have been so rude and tonight was the last time. My daughter and I stopped in to order a pizza for take out. My daughter was hungry so I ordered a salad bar for her so she could eat a salad while we waited. She was given a very small plastic bowl with a clear lid. She was also given a very small clear plastic bag. I guess to put the container in but not sure how that was supposed to fit in the small bag. She still had salad left in the container and wanted to take the rest home. When she closed the lid it broke. So instead of asking for a new container she dumped the salad into the small bag. When the cashier brought our pizza over, she said, "the salad is for eating while u are in the restaurant. It's not to take home." Even though we were provided a to go container. Do not order using their Eat24 app especially if you are going to pick up the pizza because it most likely won't go through on their end. And if you do, call to confirm it went through! We came in after 45mins to pick up our order and the staff looked at me dazed and confused. I showed them my confirmation email and quickly I can tell there was a problem with my order and it not going through. The management resolved it by giving us free wings and a drink, so adding another star for good customer service! And btw thank you for that! Came into Mountain Mike's for the all you can eat pizza buffet at 5:45 p.m. with my husband and son. When we sat down there were 3 other table with people at them, all finished with their meals. When my son and husband went to get some pizza there were 4 pieces of ham and sausage and 6 pieces of cheese and jalapenos. Not our favorite, but we waited for them to cook some more. That never happened. We waited 45 minutes for them to cook some more pizza, but they refused. Dissapointing. I remember how great Mountain Mike's was in San Pablo when it first opened up by Raley's. I remember the great deals we were able to get for our youth group kids. I remember how the buffet always had lots of choices. Well, I don't know how this MM deals with youth groups.. but their pizza wasn't stunning nor was the buffet varied. Buffet starts at 11. We walk in at almost 12. No pizza is out. The guy said 10 minutes till pizza, handed us plates and cups. So we got our drinks and went for the salad. Uhm... don't salad bars usually have.... salad? No lettuce to be seen. Took a few minutes to get someone's attention. Then another 5 minutes to get the bowl of lettuce to the salad bar. About 10-15 minutes later pizza came out, half pepperoni half bacon and chicken? 10-15 later another meat laden pizza. 10-15 another meat filled pizza, with, finally a VEGGIE! But at this point. I'd given up. Didn't even get through 2 pieces of pepperoni it was so greasy. At least at Round Table's buffet if they are still making the pies, they'll ask if you have a suggestion. I really hoped for a veggie pie in the mix, but that was probably 2 pizzas away. The video games weren't even plugged in. Another patron thankfully asked for the remote and turned on the tv. We ordered pizza for delivery and were quoted an hour. Waited an hour and fifteen minutes so I called. The girl that answered stated it would be another 30 minutes. I asked for the manager. He said it wouldn't be 30 minutes. He said the delivery wouldn't take that long the driver just left. He would call the driver and tell him that he discounted the pizza. After waiting 20 minutes I got a call from the driver stating he was outside and couldn't get in, he verified the address and it was wrong. I called the manager back and he said he had the correct address and he put me on hold to call the driver as I waited on hold the driver showed up. He handed me the receipt and it had the new amount so the driver hadn't left when the manager said he had. I waited about 5 minutes on hold and the manager never came back on the line. So I hung up.
