We ordered some pizza to go & it was absolutely delicious! Can't really comment on the restaurant itself, but the food was amazing. I loved all of their vegan options as well -- they were endless! We ordered the vegan Bombay Garlic Chicken Pizza, which came with their signature creamy garlic sauce, vegan cheese, vegan chicken, fresh mushrooms, crisp red onions, fresh bell pepper, sliced olives, garlic, ginger & green chillies, garnished with fresh cilantro & vegan bbq sauce drizzle. Pizza Twist is located in the Dana Plaza in Concord. I've been wanting to try this place and I was not disappointed! I ordered over the phone and my pizza was ready in 20 minutes! The restaurant is clean and nicely decorated. I ordered a medium Tikka Masala Pizza and I have say 5/5 for one of the best pizza crust I've ever had! It is amazing! However the Tikka Masala Pizza flavor was not my favorite. It comes with their signature Tikka Masala sauce. The sauce and the chicken has a hint of masala but it is not over powering. The pizza wasn't my favorite because it felt like it needed more sauce. It was a bit dry. It was loaded with all of the other ingredients but it needed more sauce. I do want to try other pizza flavors though and the naan! Come support this new local business! read more

This is (please see the images) what I got after giving 4 stars last week. Does it look like a good pizza and pakora even appetizing to you?! I want to give 0 star but stuck at 1. Read on for more details. I have previously wrote a 4 stars review for their "Achari paneer pizza twist". Although the quantity of Achar was a bit more, everything else was in harmony, well baked pizza base, tasty toppings! Now fast forward to a week, I wanted to try other items on the menu. I have ordered "Curry paneer pizza" and "Paneer pakora". Paneer pakora is very dry outside, doesn't even look like fried. The inside is decent but not very tasty! I gave 3/5 for the pakora just because the size of each pakora is good and they gave me 4 pakoras for $6. Now we come to the showstopper (at least what supposed to be the showstopper), pizza. The pizza is very doughy and have zillions of toppings. My guess is there is so much toppings, the dough didn't get enough time in the oven to get cooked. I selected medium spicy option, and got a bland mixture of topping. I have no idea why they call it "curry paneer pizza twist", I didn't get any curry flavor (I am Indian so if I know something it will be curry), I didn't get any pizza (just pizza looking half baked dough bread). I got paneer though, so hooray for that! Maybe that's the twist customer can get?! Expected to be pizza but got some half baked gooey mess! If this place can only make "Achari paneer pizza twist", better just sell that. And if someone from the restaurant is reading this, please don't call something curry and expect to get away with a bland tasting dish. read more

What an amazing find in east bay for some flavorful pizzas! My fav order here is to get a large half and half achari paneer and chicken pizza. They offer half and half options across their various flavors. Usually order food on phone and food is ready for pick up in around 20-25 mins. Great service and very friendly staff. I came out this way because I found a laundromat that was open until midnight (failed machines at home, had to use a dryer). While waiting for my clothes to dry, i stopped here at a restaurant that converted what was previously a sushi restaurant into a pizza parlor and the atmosphere of a night club. They played old 2000 hip hop, had a couple claw machines and a speed bag game (which looked rather cathartic). I ordered the small Indian Veggie Pizza Twist that is spicy... HEEEEELA GOOOOOD!!!! Every Sunday we head out to have Patty's zombies in concord and always noticed this pizza place. After reading about it online and reading the reviews we headed out there for our zombies and took a chance on the pizza. We ordered an X-large but it felt more like a large. We ordered half and half, chicken tikka masala and the paneer. Couldn't really taste the difference in either... one just had green bell peppers. The crust is very thin and not your usual hand tossed or pan pizza. They are super gracious with the toppings and definitely a different flavor than your normal pizza. They have many beers on tap and have a great assortment of wines... they have toys and games for kids to play while you wait for your pizza. I wouldn't make an extra trip out just for this pizza nor would I pay $47 for a pizza if it's not Round Table or Mountain Mike's. read more

Super bland, there is no tikka flavor at all. Just veggies on top. Ordered from Pizza Twist the other night and got two small pizzas, one all meat pizza and one pepperoni with vegan cheese. I've been looking for a dairy free pizza alternative forever and if you are too, this is 100% the place. I was amazed with how many of the vegan and gluten free options they had ! I found this place on the app Too Good to Go because it advertised $30 worth of food for $10. I purchased it because I was excited to see what I would get and when I got there one of the employees told me that it would take 20 minutes. However after waiting, the employee called me over to grab a small box. I thought to myself 'oh this is going to be the first box' but when I asked him if this was it he said yes. But I was hoping for more tikka masala flavor. There is no sauce, all the flavor is in the chicken, and its more of a dry rub marinade. If I didn't know what I was eating, I would have just thought it was spicy chicken. The pizza would be so good if it had tikka masala sauce drizzled on top. The pizza doesn't have marinara sauce either, so its on the drier side (it wasn't bad though, everything tasted fine). The cauliflower crust was tasty. Overall it was worth a try. read more

Stopped in today bc of their "two slices + soda for $6.99" sign in their window. There was one pepperoni pizza available by the slice so I got two of those and an orange soda. The pepperoni was extra crispy, so that was a huge bonus! The crust was also crispy. On first looks, the pizza reminds me of something you'd order at a Chuck E. Cheese or a kids playhouse, but I promise it doesn't taste like that! The menu seems fantastic for vegans and gluten free folks. I wonder why no one in yelp mentioned it. In Concord, Pizza Twist is the only place offering cauliflower crust pizza. My family loves the Pittsburg location and was excited to have a Pizza Twist closer to home. This location's pizzas are solid and consistent with Pittsburg's, but there needs to be major improvement in their operations. We placed an order over the phone and were told the subtotal is $33.99. When we go to pick it up, there's a poster on the window that says exactly what we ordered was $29.99. My husband mentions it to the cashier, and the cashier says, "Oh. That poster is old." Then when we got home I noticed they gave us free ranch dressing and I thought that was cool. Except when I took a closer look at the label, I realized it says it expired 05/02/2022. Today is June 5, 2022. Gross. I think we'll be back but will wait a few months to get their operations in line. read more

We heard this restaurant had regular pizza, vegan choices, Indian pizza and halal choices. We tried the Bombay Garlic Chicken: creamy garlic sauce, cheese, chicken, onion, bell pepper,ginger, bbq sauce and cilantro. It's a thin crust so very good if you like that kind of pizza. We can't wait to come back and try other items including loaded naan and Indian samosas. The owner is very nice and passionate about his food. They do serve beer and wine. They allowed my dog on the patio. This business is clean and has a variety of options on the menu. If you haven't tried Indian pizza you are missing out. They will also make it spicy for you. Was super apprehensive when we ordered from here after seeing the reviews. I was pleasantly surprised that the food was good. We ordered the curry masala bread, a small shahi paneer pizza(no spice) and a medium size Gobi Manchurian pizza(medium spice). The medium spice manchurian pizza was so spicy for my taste. Everything tasted delicious overall and the portion sizes were great. We ordered all this and shared between 4 peoples. Will be ordering more from here in the future. read more
