Finallly I got what I wanted at mountain mikes. Mountain mikes is my favorite and the last 3 visits to a variety of stores has been so disappointing. Only problem I had was when I went to use my rewards (15.00 credit) cashier put in my phone number and "bad customer" came up and I could not use it. I'm guessing it's because we do reviews for the issues we were having. A little retribution form MM? Who knows but it's the AP not the stores fault. I ordered extra sauce and actually got it! No one lying about it like the grass valley store in my home town that we used to go to for decades. Everyone in the the lodi location were friendly, accommodating and the atmosphere was traditional, warm and very family friendly. I found my new favorite location. I used to go to mountain mikes but came to this one because of an event some friends were hosting. I ordered 1 medium pizza and requested a small with a red sauce. I got 2 medium pizzas instead of the red sauce they put white. Along with 2 salads which the salad bar was pretty picked empty and 2 fountain drinks. All for the grand total of $75. read more

I went to Mountain Mikes Lodi- Cherokee lane location, ordered 6piece wings. Firstly, I only recieved 5 wings. Second, when biting into the first wing the chicken was raw. I called the store who stated they would not give me refund or credit if I didn't drive back to their store to show them the chicken. I chose this business not only because I like consistently delicious pizza but I like kind communication with the people taking my order. One night I came just before closing and was told I wasn't too late to order, they would have it ready soon. Last night I ordered 2 pizzas and one didn't have the toppings exactly as ordered. At least the pizza is good. The inside of this restaurant appears to have been frozen in time since 1992... from the flooring to the furniture, and the decor (or lack there of) to the video games (half didn't even work). The layer of stickiness that existed on every surface appears to have also been there since the mid '90s. My ears were very confused, because on the right was baseball narrated in Spanish, and the left heard Red Hot Chili Peppers blaring from the kitchen. When I told one of the employees that the paper towel dispenser was either broken or empty in the men's restroom, I got a very indifferent response. Also they expect $12 for a single trip to the salad bar with a tiny plate. If you want mountain bikes just go to the one on kettleman Lane instead. read more

Stopped here while traveling with a group of Boy Scouts. I called ahead and made a large order of pizzas to be ready when we arrived. When we arrived they had a corner of the restaurant ready for us as well as all our food and drinks. Both the staff and the owner were attentive and kind. They made our lunch stop, efficient, easy and delicious. The owner was especially helpful and caring, said he has owned it for 27 years. read more

Warning: Prices are higher than what they seem. Watch out for the prices. The menu says $7.99 for the lunch buffet with soda. So hubby and I went for 2. When I asked how come $7.99x2 became over $30 - the cashier pointed to a note taped to the bottom of the menu that says "Prices are not updated." This is a good mountain mikes. The foods good, they haven't messed up on my orders the times I've come in. Had a chance to meet the owner - he's a personable guy. Ask him about the refrigerator magnets if you frequent this location. You can mention it and get a free 1 topping medium whenever you order a large specialty pizza. They're still doing 50% large pizzas on Tuesday. I don't know any other mountain mikes in the area that offers a deal like this. I always order for pick up and never eat inside, but inside does look a little dated. There's always someone watching the front desk, so you won't be waiting around much. My lady is all about a couple known pizza chains. We don't regret going with this location when we can't agree about grabbing pizza from smack pie or tap house. Horrible customer service!!! We ordered 5 pizzas for delivery and we paid the guy before looking at the pizzas. Two of them were made incorrec. We called to have them send two new ones or refund the cost and they refused. They said that we had to bring the pizzas to them in order to get new ones. I was not going to leave the party, drive to the pizza place, and wait for them to make new ones. We will never be back!! Update: I did call! First impression wasn't so great: it's definitely dated. The carpet's worn down, and the tables could use a refinishing. The bathroom was pretty grimy, too. However, the combination pizza was really good. It had a crunchy crust and plenty of fresh-tasting toppings. They have a video game room and airhockey table and t.v.s that were tuned to a game show channel. I think the half-price Tuesday special makes this a good destination for families. read more

When I called about the quality of the pizza, I was told if I bring it back in, I'd get my money back OR I could get a free medium pizza for my next order. I take it back & then am told I couldn't just my money back because there was 1 or 2 pieces missing! HA!! -- The ones my kids started eating before I got to the table & then saw it & then decided to call?? I think not, demanded my money back! && then was told I could never order from there again-- hilarious, like I'd be missing out! ---mind you the ONLY reason I ordered from their location is because my husband was on that side of town & he asked me to.. The "person in charge" said more, but it was nonsense. I made an order for 2 pizzas and a salad. The "salad" consisted of 2 carrots 3 pieces of cucumber, a bunch of noodles, a bunch of beans ( kidney and green beans) lettuce and packaged crackers. Last time I ordered a salad, which was much larger then this "single serve" I didn't order. Plus it came with an actual salad and not noodles, beans, and lettuce. They have by far the best salad bar! They have these delicious pre-made salads that are so unique to have at a salad bar. Their salad bar blows the Kettleman's mountain mikes out of the water! The Mountain Mike's on Kettleman always has old vegetables. Also, this Cherokee Mike's has very polite employees compared to the Kettleman one as well! read more

Mountain Mike's makes magnificent meals most of the time. Buffet Buffoons should bring their business. Locals love the lunch buffet! Pepperoni is placed perfectly on each pie for pretty presentation. Super cinnamon slices are served as a sweet sensation. The scrumptious salad succumbs to a second serving by me, specially the spud salad. Rarely do I radiantly rave about rabbit rations. Consequently, I currently complain about the crunchy cardboard crust. The notorious nothingness never navigates flavor, nicking the nevertheless nice rating down a notch.
