Spicy Beef Lamb Kabob Pizzatwist, small size, mild spice level.
    Leonardo N.

The service was kind, fast, and accurate. At the same time, the food quality was great. I did not stay that long since I got my food to go, but the ambiance was chill and laid back, which would be good for a group of friends or a small family. The food I got was a small pizza of Spicy Beef Lamb Kabob with the spice level being mild. I've always wanted to try lamb on pizza and I knew it was a great idea. Also, the added red onions, and pineapple complimented the lamb. If you cannot handle spicy at all, then do not get mild get a spice level that's not spicy at all or lower than mild. However, the mild spice level was perfect for me and was nice level of heat. The pizza came with a small bag of red peppers and a side of ranch. This new approach to pizza is a great innovation and mix. If you want to try something new or want to enjoy some classic pizza, I highly recommend going to this place especially since there is no other place I know that has lamb as a meat option on top of pizza, which is awesome.

Good but it was expensive! One large pepperoni and 2 mediums ( that look like smalls ) for $83.

Getting My Pasta-Addiction On!…read more SITREP Thanks to Yelp for directly putting this business on my radar - I will always appreciate that assist! THE SETUP It was LOVE at first sight when I spotted the pre-made Zita casserole in their refrigerator display. I was more than willing to take a chance on that puppy: simply put in the oven and heat up! Easy-peasy, and SO delicious: rich marinara sauce with a hearty flavor. But I was also excited to try another *flavor* of alfredo sauce that did NOT come out of grocery store jar, so I popped for not just one, but TWO (2) difference flavors of their Alfredo sauce! * A lemon Alfredo sauce; and, * A Parmesan Alfredo sauce I'm still experimenting on making my own fettuccine and linguini noodles, so it's tons o' fun mixing & matching different sauces with different pastas! THE LOWDOWN Thank you, Chubby Cupboard, for making many fun and delicious pastas and sauces! I love coming back for more!

Amelia recommended one pasta dish per person in the party, to share family style (which ended up working well for us, since we also got three appetizers, and finished the meal with a small amount of yummy leftovers for tomorrow) so that's what we did, along with the starters... We got the "big juicy meatballs with tomato and pancetta," which were incredible; the bread was delicious and certainly is not just a side to the amazing (definitely juicy) herbed tender meatballs. I'd definitely get this again, along with the grilled zucchini with worm salt and mint, which was so flavorful and tasty. We also got the smokey romano beans with fire roasted tomato, which was also really good but just keep in mind the emphasis on the smokey flavor! It wasn't my cup of tea but that's for sure a personal thing. For pastas, I'd rank them in this order: 1. our favorite was today's lasagna du jour, which was mushroom! So delicious, with a crispy cheesy crust, soft tender interior, and an almost caramelized tomato sauce accompanying. 2. Reginette with pork sugo (meat sauce) and spicy turnip greens was next, which had wonderful flavor with the tomato-based sauce and pieces of pork but if you like it slightly softer texture it might not be for you (same with the fusilli; the go-to preparation is aldente!). 3. Fusilli alla vodka with tomato, calabrian chili, cream, basil, and added garlic butter shrimps; this one's sauce felt a little underwhelming and more watery than creamy, and I'm just now realizing that although the menu said four garlic butter shrimp (an extra $7), we only got three. I think I'd come back for the lasagna and/or to buy the pasta from their expansive stock, cook it a bit longer, and serve it covered in a decadent creamy sauce.

Seating area consists of 3 tables, and they've got one of those mini arcade games for the kiddos as well. Overall pretty small dining area but Gustine isn't a big city so didn'texpect a ton of seating. Menu is displayed on a couple of monitors in the wall as you come in. The pasta is cooked in an open kitchen right behind the counter as you order. Pretty neat to be able to watch them make your order. Ordered the Volcanic Fettuccine because who doesn't like a spicy Italian dish right? Got it in a bread bowl with added chicken so cost was just shy of 20 bucks because of the upgrades. Didn't end up eating on site because it was really close to closing time for them and didn't want to be "that guy" so took my order home. The fettuccine was really good, cooked well, and the sauce was actually spicy. Not as spicy as I was hoping it would be, but it did have a nice kick. I'd definitely have it again. Overall, nice family run place with home made pasta. Would have ordered a pizza, but they ran out of pizza dough, since it is house made they don't have any extra in the fridge/freezer like you'd expect at a lot of places. If you are in the Gustine area looking for some really good home made pasta check them out. Definitely worth the drive.
