    Small New York-er and Pineapple/Pepperoni
    Brandon A.

We stopped by Rick's Pizza in Lodi and were not disappointed! We kept it simple and ordered a small pizza--half New Yorker, half pepperoni & pineapple--and it came out absolutely delicious. You can tell they know what they're doing when it comes to crust, sauce, and toppings. As soon as we sat down, we were greeted with friendly service, and the bill at the end was super reasonable. One thing I really appreciated was the classic pizza parlor smell and vibe--it's something you don't get much anymore in newer spots. Ain't nothing like it. For a Saturday night, the place had the perfect mix of families and couples just enjoying a bite. Very relaxed and low key. We'll definitely be back!

House combo with extra olives! OUTSTANDING

Wow! Definitely impressed with this small hole in the wall pizza place! Ordered a small pepperoni and a combo "Rick's house " with extra olives! Pictures show decent quality and quantity of ingredients! I loved the taste! I'll be back!

I've been ordering from Rick's for almost 20 years, and they've always been solid. Consistent food, friendly service, and fast delivery every single time. I really appreciate the delivery drivers! They are so kind and nice! This time I got a large pizza, half combination and half Hawaiian, six wings, and a family-sized salad. The pizza was exactly what I wanted. Crispy crust, plenty of toppings, not greasy. The wings were juicy and had great flavor, and the salad was fresh with a ton of crunchy croutons, chickpeas, kidney beans, and cold crisp lettuce. Plus, they pack generous portions of dressing on the side which I love. I appreciate that Rick's never skimps or changes up on quality. I also appreciate that they do fundraisers for many of our local schools as well! After all these years, they're still my go-to for pizza night.

Rick's is the best pizza I have had in Lodi, California. I always look forward to it when my partner's parental units want to take us here. Recently we came to pickup from his wine club and stopped here for an early dinner just the two of us. Very romantic ambiance here, don't be fooled by the nondescript strip mall. It is on the expensive side, but I think it's worth it for how delicious it is. And how filling. Bring a friend or the family or whoever. They do have coupons floating about but as I don't even go here I don't know how to get any. Big fan of the cheese and/or veggie combo pies since I stopped eating meat. They have a serious combo for people who eat both. Chonky pizzas with piled toppings, but not so bad that everything falls off. Quality cheese blend and crust that isn't too much crust. They do have a thin crust available as well. House salad with the bean medley, when both pizza sauce and ranch is applied, is so tasty. I've never had that anywhere else. Don't skip their house made ranch, now. They have several hot sandwiches to choose from as well, and I saw one veggie sandwich offered. There is also a fancier veggie pizza with artichokes and garlic. Other options include, wangs, garlic bread, soups, salads with meat in them, Gluten Free pizza crust, and cauliflower pizza crust. I did not see the word vegan anywhere, so you would have to ask about that to see what you can eat if you're vegan. Waitresses are nice. Ambiance is nostalgic. Rick's reminds me of the defunct Auburn Round Table we used to have birthday parties at in the 90's. It's cute how similar our hometowns are when I think about it. Don't forget your quarters for the arcade, sticker, and toy machines. 98% Angel. Vegan Corner: salad, no vegan cheese that I am aware of Bathroom Report: down some hallways, adventure is out there, no problems to report Parking: lot in a strip mall Booths: fat person approved

Ricks Deluxe Combo (added black olives)

Today (Thursday) I decided to get pizza for dinner once again, but this time I ordered pizza from somewhere different. I usually always go to the same place, literally 4-5 days per week I get the same thing, cheese pizza with lite white sauce and extra extra cheese -cooked super crispy. Every once in a while I want some good quality, hearty, great tasting pizza, that's when I visit restaurants like this. Ricks New York Style Pizza has been around for over 40 years, (according to the banner I read while walking into the restaurant). Places like this are my favorite because you know there's going to be good food made, not food that resembles cafeteria food. A couple things that stand out today that make me happy is the Ranch dressing is great and the sausage is actually sausage, not little pebbles that most pizza places have these days. Going back to the ranch dressing, they have really good salads. Kind of basic, but really good. Lettuce, kidney beans, garbanzo beans and croutons. Maybe red onion, I'm not sure exactly. But I enjoy the ranch of course and I also really like their Italian. It's a red Italian dressing. Something definitely new for me. I never saw this anywhere. I have to say it's really good. In fact I usually get my salads with both of those dressings. You should try it.

    Cardboard pizza?

The pizza was soggy!!! I think it was forgotten about on top of the pizza oven, when I grabbed it the cardboard was sweaty!!! I waited inside the restaurant there was no excuse for such a horrible soggy pizza. The pizza slice broke as I tried to pull it up because it was stuck to the box!

Refills charged at regular prices..its on the menu .

Good Food and Good service. Family friendly ambiance. Worth the price. No ATM so do bring cash. The staff is young and hard working. Do have a patience we where all kids at one point. "Refills are charged at regular prices" .

This is an "order at the register" place which is right in front of the door, so it gets cramped if there is a line. Pizzas are what I would describe as "European style", so don't expect a family sized pie. They are for the individual, or parties that wish to order multiples and share. Crust is thin. I order extra tomato sauce because almost every pizza joint skimps on sauce. I've only ever ordered olives and mushrooms, a personal fav. It's always good, but dispersement of toppings can vary. Though quality is good, price is a bit high. I can get a large at a number of spots around town for less. But sometimes you want quality over quantity. I've never eaten at the establishment, but have always waited for my to-go order. They tend to play pop-country music fairly loud, which competes with the Mexican place next door. Clashing loud music is never a good thing. Keep it ambient and neutral. They always want to give me a plastic bag with paper plates and utensils. Great if I asked for them if I were going on a picnic. But I'm just bringing it home, so no need so better to ask ahead of time instead of bringing it to me at delivery. Just a thought. People there are mostly nice, or at the very least, just above indifferent, what you might expect from young people now days. I'll be back. Not open on Mondays.

We ordered quite a feast: (3) chicken tikka wraps without lettuce 8 piece chicken tikka 8 piece chicken malai 6 regular naans + 1 garlic naan Tandoori fish order Tandoori chicken pizza Chicken tikka masala rice plate Every single item was flavorful, mouth watering, and cooked perfectly. The chicken tikka and malai were tender and packed with flavor. The naans were soft and fresh, and the chicken tikka masala rice plate had that rich, comforting sauce that was creamy smooth you can't stop eating and dipping your naan into. The tandoori fish was a standout smoky, well seasoned, and tender. They give a lot of meat inside the wraps. The tandoori chicken pizza... let's just say we couldn't even wait to get home. Four months later, on January 14, I received a text -- not even a phone call -- stating they could no longer host my event. No explanation. No meaningful effort to resolve the situation. Just a refund offer, as if families don't spend months planning around major milestones. By that point I had already sent save-the-dates to 125 guests. Because of their late cancellation, I have now contacted 25 other venues and wineries trying to keep my original date -- and they are either fully booked or out of my price range. That is the real-world impact of canceling a confirmed event months after booking. Weeks later (February 13), they offered the weekend before at half price. While that may sound generous on the surface, the reality is the damage was already done. I lost guests when I attempted to adjust the date, and I have been left scrambling to find alternatives. Major life events like graduations aren't casual reschedules. Reliability and communication matter, and unfortunately this experience showed a serious lack of both. Book with caution.
