I had a very disappointing experience this evening. My family has come to this pizza place for for years and has never experienced anything like this. We ordered our appetizer and received them in a reasonable timeframe a family member asked for 8 plates and the worker replied that they had no paper plates or plastic plates. The worker then explained they were washing plates, with no apology or notice of when the plates would be ready. We then received our two pizzas. With no sign of getting plates another family member then went to the grocery store and bought paper plates for my family to use. The Asian lady says it's not available. So, I order a Mckinley which IS the combination. 40 minutes later a small crummy little box is laid on my doorstep, never saw the delivery person, what has happened to this place?? Worst service I've ever received. Apparently the person at the register doesn't understand English because she screwed up our order and her manager was annoyed that I had a complaint. Love the owner, love mountain Mikes but needless to say, hit Tracy, Stockton or Modesto for it. Mountain Mikes USED to be one of our favorite pizza spots. That all changed as of a week ago. I booked a party here for my sons birthday party in advance and paid my deposit. I arrive for my party about half hour early to a dirty party room. As I'm walking in with my balloons for my son, I hear a gentlemen yell from the back, there's a party today?! The girl in front then responds super irritated with a "yea". I approach the girl and ask her kindly if they could please clean the dirty party room, as we guests arriving shortly. Vacuum was sitting behind the door of the party room, she decides to grab a broom and swept up a plate and napkin off the floor, completely ignoring everything else. I let it go as it's a kids party, and more stuff will fall on the floor. We set up our things and I went to order. Most unfriendly girl ever! Not sure how the hell she got a job, and at this point I'm wondering, was there a change in ownership?! Because the owners I knew that ran the place wouldn't have this. I finished my ordering and not once did she smile and have any manners. As guests arrive, my daughter uses the restroom, comes back and says "mom the sink is broke in the restroom!" Omg! How is this even ok, and to read other reviews over 16 days ago that encountered the same problem. Ridiculous! Ofcourse, there was no option given by the staff. Next close thing I have is sanitizer and wipes. Just sad. My guests and I approached the staff on different occasions to turn on the fans and air, she said the manger will do it. Well she never did! We are paying to eat at your establishment and we are not even comfortable, it's a sweat box. The same unprofessional girl approaches me a couple hours later and says my manager asked me to tell you to start cleaning up because we have another party. So you need to leave the room. I was furious! I understand there may be another party, however your approach is simply rude. We move to the dining area, not one TV on, but there's about 10 in there I would guess. Beer on tap was not working either, which seems to be a problem every time we would come here. We had a party here in February and did not have this bad of an experience. I was so very disappointed this time around, and I will NEVER be back to this location until their service has a major improvement and a working sink! My decision seems correct, as the whole time we were there (4 hours on a Saturday afternoon) about a handful of people came in and some more for a meeting. Never seen the place so empty. This is my first time eating dine in. I usually order pizza from here and pick up. I always wanted to eat here during lunch time when they have the lunch buffet from 11am-2pm. All I can say the lunch buffet is better than round table. Fresh salad bar with all new condiments. The pizza was also fresh tasteful. Different variety of pizza every 30 mins or when the pizza dish is empty. The atmosphere was very welcoming and TVs surrounding the restaurant. Ok so this mountain mikes is pretty cool it has a bar! Dope right? I'm currently sitting at the bar waiting for my breakfast btw it's almost 8pm -came here after the gym to enjoy the game and eat. I lived in Manteca a few years ago and dont remember there being a Mountain mikes there, the one I ate at was in Lathrop. Anyways, the restaurant in Lathrop was very clean, large, and had very friendly service. We had a Garlic lovers pizza and I fell in love ! ! ! This was one of the best pizzas I have ever had to this day. I did have heartburn for the first time later that night, but it was worth it. Mt Mikes has always been THE place for dine-in pizza! They have the best ingredients, the friendliest staff, and a great environment for watching football on their many flat screens! They have a party room that is private and has its own two tvs. We use it for fantasy football drafts. It's perfect! I tried ordering pizza and wings and she said they couldn't price match , the mountain mikes in Merced (Merced was $6 cheaper for a large pizza) and then she said we have different owners and they run this place like this so if you don't like it then too bad. Ummm hello you are representing a "brand" mountain mikes. You should be able to price match to keep your customers happy. I loved the pizza here. My husband is a pizza snob and only likes me to order from pizza hut (which is WAY too expensive!) I brought home a couple pizzas from Mountain Mikes a couple weeks ago, and he loved them! We've been back twice to watch football on Sundays. This is THE place to go on Sundays. So much fun to watch with fans (even if they are different teams, lol) They have a bunch of TVs and have all the games. As far as today it was a total zero stars. Ordered $60 worth of food for delivery and 2 hours and 50 minutes it was delivered and missing an order of appetizers. I'm not calling again. After managing in the pizza industry I do know that almost 3 hours for delivery is unacceptable. Reading other reviews it seems to be an ongoing situation that doesn't seem to matter. The person who I talked to on the phone was very rude and the delivery boy drove away from the establishment we had the pizza sent to without making any effort in delivering it. We're never coming here again. Mountain mikes used to be great we used to order pizza every week. I've been over charged with no compensation , had horrible service but kept coming back because we love the pizza . However after this visit we won't ever spend money here again! Our pizza came out raw had almost no pepperoni on it and WAY too much sauce. We called over the cashier and told him our pizza was raw and had too much sauce and no pepperoni he took it and we threw away the slices on our plates. 15 min later they brought back THE SAME PIZZA that they had thrown back in the oven!!!!
