When I arrived at this Douglas Blvd location, the price jumped to $16.99, and the woman at the counter told me a drink purchase was strictly required.On top of the price deception, the Indian woman working the counter was incredibly unfriendly and had a major attitude problem. To make matters worse, despite paying the higher price to eat, they never brought out any fresh pizza the entire time I was there. It was just the same pizza sitting there, completely dried out from sitting under the heat lamps from the moment I walked in until I left. Misquoted prices, terrible attitude, and dried-out food. My husband and I had a very disappointing experience at Mountain Mike's on Douglas Blvd on New Year's Eve. We decided to go grab something to eat before going out later that evening. We ordered a small pizza, 2 salads and a medium drink. We spent about $50 on our meal and unfortunately both ended up with food poisoning later that night. Because of this, we had to cancel our New Year's Eve plans entirely. I went back to speak with the owner about what happened, hoping for some understanding or accountability. Instead, he was very difficult to deal with and only reimbursed half of our bill, despite the fact that both of us became sick. Food safety is not something to take lightly, especially on a holiday when people are celebrating. Between the illness and the poor way the situation was handled afterward, we will not be returning and cannot recommend this location. read more

I would definitely stick to ordering out from this place and not dining in my family and I came in at 8pm to have a sit down dinner. For starters, I ordered the barbecue chicken with red onions and they forgot to add the onions so they placed raw red onions on top of the pizza after it was cooked. But what really made us feel uncomfortable and made me leave this review was the worker came up to us at 8:58 and said we are actually closed now if you could please wrap it up That she could put our beer in a to go cup so that we would hurry up. Don't compare this Mountain Mike's to others. This one is amazing. The pizza is fantastic. The restaurant is clean, the salad bar is fresh and loaded. Recently we brought a couple with us who have had Mountain Mikes elsewhere. They were pleasantly surprised at the difference and will be returning for more with us weekly. Give this one a try in Roseville on Douglas in the TJ Maxx Center. The crust is amazing, the sauce is delicious and a perfect amount. The toppings are fresh and the small, curled pepperoni are all cooked to perfection making it a pizza you can't beat. Michelle the owner, checks with you to make sure it's exactly what you wanted. This location is open during construction but the doors are locked. The sign says to park in certain spots and call to have your order brought out. When I went back to my car and called, there were loud noises and she couldn't hear my card number, after a few tries she was able to charge me and then told me to meet her at the door. I go back to the door and waited about five minutes and then called again and they finally came out with my order. Super unorganized and inconvenient especially when I'm on my lunch break. We ordered 2 mini pizzas (free) from the King's promotion to try this place out (long ago we used to go to MM's for pizza buffets, but at a different location) as we've not been to this lcoation. I think all of them are franchises. In any case, they were done nicely. They were steaming hot upon pick up, the sauce was sufficient (even generous) and the topping was fair in quantity. The crust was crispy even though it was still a lot of dough as that's how their pizza's come and I'm not sure they have a thin-crust version of their mini pizza. There is no way a San Francisco born foodie could ever give any pizza chain restaurant a five star. Only family or small business owned wood/charcoal fired pizzas can rate a 5 star. But even for a S.F. born and raised gourmand weaned on famous North Beach Italian culinary dominance for decades, when Italian presence was more prolific, I have occasionally dabbled at fast food versions of pizzas when very hungry and in an eat and run disposition. Of course, moving to Roseville, we have to lower our standards to eat pizzas. It is not the toppings that determine overall quality and authenticity, but the origin of the wheat flour and how it is baked. However, today, Thursday May 23, being a lazy home cook, and very hungry, I tried Mountain Mikes between Main St. and Foothills Blvd. in Roseville. I make an effort to first patronize all eateries closest to my neighborhood for a local economic boost. To be blunt, no pizza crust can be as good as slow yeast rising daily fresh kneaded and baked in wood or charcoal ovens at over 500 degree heat - no comparison. But only Mountain Mikes within a few miles from where I live offer a pizza lunch buffet where indulging in the rich calories of pizzas can be offset by enjoying very fresh, extensive salad condiments and veggies providing the benefits of high nutrition and fiber. For $18.00 or thereof pizza and salad buffet with beverages, neither flavor, freshness, friendly service and pleasant roomy ambience is compromised. The potato and macaroni salads are just as good as in most supermarket delis. Mountain Mikes Pizzeria on Main Street near Foothills Blvd. will be my go to place to enjoy a healthy (yes healthy) pizza buffet lunch. just go easy on their thick salad dressings). The advantage for me is that I have more afternoon hours to burn off the calories of a pizza, than my usual lethargic activity after a dinner pizza meal. The staff is friendly, the place is clean with a huge screen TV, and interior is ideal for indoor dining during Roseville's post 100 plus summer temperatures. The interior layout of Mountain Mikes, at least the one near Foothills Blvd., seems a pleasant way to enjoy leisurely dining with friends or even exchange pleasant dialogue with other customers. Not all restaurants have a friendly, welcoming atmosphere, but Mountain Mikes does. read more

I ordered and paid for pizzas several days in advance for a birthday party. When I arrived at the location, they were closed. Nobody inside, no sign on the door with any explanation. And no food for my kid's birthday party. I had to scramble to find food fast while a party of kids and parents got hungrier and hungrier. There were also multiple other people showing up for orders and realizing they too were getting burned. The next day while I was working, somebody called and timidly "apologized", saying I would get a refund, and stammered out "hope you'll visit us again". No offer of anything to make up for the major problem this caused. Their excuse was a "store emergency". Whatever was wrong wasn't the physical store. It was closed and dark and clean inside. A pizza joint has to start prep early in the morning. By lunch time there was plenty of time for at least one person to access the online orders and call people to give a heads up. Nobody bothered. I have had a couple of pizza's from delivery that wasn't too good, but most places can't put out the best food 100% of the time when you have it delivered. We got the pizza ar 715 after waiting in the location for am hour. The kid at the front said its my bad I gave it to slthe delivery driver by mistake at 630 so then took another 45 min to make 2 pizzas and he said best he can do is give us 20% off... The chicken wings... I ordered them extra crispy when I got them after 45 min wait I opened them and said these are not crispy at all as I touched it with my hand she then said its ok ill throw it back in....
