Was craving tacos and gave this place a try. We came in on a Saturday night for dinner and there were not much customers when we arrived so we got a table immediately. But the place is not that huge and there's limited seating. I ordered al pastor and chicharones tacos. It was decent but not as authentic. There's no fat in the al pastor meat and it has pineapple in it. The pineapple was not fresh though (it's from the can). The service was okay though.

Masa Masa has been on my must try list for months! We finally got to stop by for lunch and it did not disappoint. From the moment we walked in, the crew was welcoming and shared their favs. The atmosphere was great and being able to sit outside was a nice option. We decided chips and salsa for our first visit and order lots of delicious tacos. Everything tasted delicious. We immediately started thinking of what we had that we could have them cater as we want everyone to try! We will definitely be back soon to try other items!

Food is phenomenal! Shrimp mango tacos? YUM. Trinity and everyone else (I sadly didn't catch all their names) were just wonderful to interact with, seriously, silly conversation and playful banter followed by fantastic customer service. Chef's kiss Oh and the way they kept the dining area clean?! Left me feeling like I could look around at the beautiful wall art, tile art, and cute light up signs over being distracted from a mess---oh wait, because it was cleaned up ASAP. Keep doing a great job everyone, you all rock!!!!!

This was our first experience at Masa Masa. Highly recommended by our friends that live local. They warned us ahead of time that they are huge and enough to split or for two meals. My husband and I settled on the same burrito, surf and turf, so we decided to split it. They don't offer a lot of burrito options, but you can customize your order. Our friend had the surf and turf and took out the carne asada and added more shrimp. They didn't cost to sub out the carne asada for shrimp, Details: Surf & Turf Burrito - 18.00 Flour tortilla filled with house marinated carne asada, shrimp, cilantro rice, pico de gallo, queso blanco, monterey jack, avocado salsa, and chipotle aioli It was so tasty and we didn't need the extra salsas they gave us. We got a red, green, and a salmon colored one. The red one was medium. The salsa was free, but orders do not come with complimentary chips. A star less for that. All Mexican restaurants should come with complimentary chips and a salsa bar. We ordered on line through Yelp and picked up in store through DoorDash, we did that as that's how they offer to do your ordering online through Yelp. There wasn't an option to order directly through the restaurant that I saw. I might have missed it I didn't realize that it's $5.40 more per burrito to order online. Oops!!! On the menu it's $18 and online it's $23.40 each. I'm never doing that again. I've never used door dash before and I won't be using them again. Total with tax our order of two burritos was $50.43. Expensive it was good, but not gold plated good. It took around 20 minutes for our order to be ready for pick up. In the end I highly recommend Masa Masa surf and turf burrito. I don't recommend you use door dash to pick up your order. I had plenty of time and could have easily waited the 20 min in store. Seating is limited. I was there at 5:40pm on Thursday. June 24, 2026 and there were seats available. **Note** I learned from the owner that you can order directly from them on their website.

Fantastic tacos and service! The reviews here are well earned. It's a smaller cute grab and go place. If you go at off hours like a 4pm dinner on a weekend, you'll probably get a table like we did though. Ordered 10+ tacos from the menu, a surf and turf burrito, a mango Fresca, chips & guac and very satisfied! Decent prices and my taste buds were dancing in flavor from their house sauces (their hot is hot!) and their unique taco choices. I forgot to grab pics until the very end with the remaining bites we had left. Until next time!

    Loaded Quesadilla (Carne Asada)

Masa Masa was a solid experience overall. I ordered the loaded carne asada quesadilla and the carne asada nachos to go. The restaurant was cute inside--small, but with some seating--and the employees were friendly and provided good service. You order at the front, give them your phone number, and receive a text when your food is ready, which was convenient. The loaded quesadilla was good, although it didn't completely wow me. I enjoyed the nachos more, but I wish the toppings and queso had been distributed more evenly throughout the layers because the chips toward the bottom didn't have much on them. Parking was easy, which is always a plus. Overall, 4/5 stars. I would come back and try some of their other menu items.

Masa Masa was such a cute little local gem in Roseville. It's a small neighborhood spot with the most fun, vibrant ambiance, big colorful murals, and super friendly staff. I also love that it's woman-owned. They honestly had me at house-made tortillas and sauces Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and creative. These are not your basic tacos. They have really unique combinations with meats, toppings, and sauces that all worked so well together. We tried a little bit of everything: Korean Beef, Al Pastor, QuesaBirria, Chicharrones, Garlic Shrimp, Hot Chicken, Sweet Pork Belly, the Al Pastor Mulita, and a Kids Carne Asada Burrito. My favorites were definitely the Al Pastor, Korean Beef, Hot Chicken, Sweet Pork Belly, and Garlic Shrimp. The Al Pastor was probably my favorite meat. It was super flavorful with roasted pineapple and had the perfect sweet and savory balance. The Korean Beef was so tender and paired really well with the spicy kimchi. The Hot Chicken was crispy, flavorful, and the slaw and pickles made it even better. The Sweet Pork Belly was juicy, sticky-sweet, and so good. The Garlic Shrimp was light, fresh, and paired with mango salsa and cilantro lime crema. The QuesaBirria had good flavor, but I think we waited a little too long to eat it, so it got a bit soggy. The Chicharrones were perfectly crispy and the citrus crema was really good. The Al Pastor Mulita had insane flavor, just a little on the smaller side. The Kids Carne Asada Burrito was simple, just meat and cheese, but it was the perfect portion and came with orange slices, which I thought was cute. The salsas were SO good too. Each one had its own kick. The red was mild, the green was medium, and the orange was HOT Overall, Masa Masa is such a fun spot when you want tacos that feel a little different and special. Creative flavors, house-made tortillas, flavorful sauces, cute ambiance, and friendly service. We'll definitely be back!

Masa masa is absolutely amazing! I went on Thursday at 5pm and it was already packed inside. Food is served quickly so tables get changed over pretty fast. My husband got their fried fish taco which he loved and the birria had a nice cheese taste and paired perfectly with the consumme. I got the cauliflower taco and it was delicious, slight sweetness and pairs well with their sour cream creama. The Al pastor nachos and spicy elote are my favorites. You can also for the elote to be split in half and it is seasoned perfectly and the corn has a nice char on the outside. The Al pastor nachos are huge and easily can be shared with two people. I love how they have vinegar onions on there and their al pastor comes with pineapple pieces. I love pairing this with their green and habanero salsas and for a pro tip: you can dip their nachos in your leftover birria consumme if you order their taco For dessert we got their churro ice cream for the first time and asked for the caramel and ube sauces on the side. Oh my! This dessert was absolutely delicious. The churro comes out crispy on the outside, warm and nice and soft and doughy on the inside and pairs so well with the cold ice cream and sauces. We devoured this dessert in seconds and will definitely be ordering this again Workers are super friendly and it's a smaller family owned business. Come check this place out and definitely get the dessert!

Tried a variety of items and overall had a really great experience here. We ordered the tofu al pastor and adobo cauliflower tacos, plus a vegan burrito and vegan burrito bowl and honestly, everything was flavorful and well thought out. The tacos were all really good in terms of taste, but they were definitely on the messy side. Super full (like, generously packed) and pretty wet, so be prepared for things to fall apart a bit. I almost hate mentioning it because the flavors were spot on--it's just not first-date food unless you're comfortable with a little chaos The burrito bowl was my favorite of the bunch. Everything worked together perfectly, and I'd absolutely order that again. They also served three salsa cups. The standouts for me were the creamy orange one (very spicy, proceed with caution!) and the tomatillo salsa, which was so fresh and flavorful I could've honestly just sipped it like an Apéritif. One thing I really appreciated: they gave out large cups of water to go, which was such a nice touch. Service was excellent. The staff was friendly, patient, and especially great and knowledgeable about vegan questions. As someone who's always a little cautious about cross-contamination or hidden ingredients, I really appreciated that they took it seriously. They even add a note to make sure the kitchen prepares vegan orders carefully. Overall, a really solid spot with great flavors and thoughtful service. Bonus, well behaved dogs allowed on their patio.

Delicious! I ordered a tiny quesadilla; spicy elote and a horchata. A little on the pricey side, but overall a good experience. The food could be described as modern Mexican.

The vibe was modern, colorful which made it fun. The service was friendly and patient ( we took a while to order since we were new) and provided feedback when asking for recommendations. Luis was very welcoming. He gave us a taste of a dessert, which the kids devoured. Everything we tasted was good. The tortillas were hand made. Food was fresh and hot, not lwarm like you get in some places. Our friend loved their fried avocado taco and I loved the Korean one, delicious! We had teens with us, they gave the birria taco a 5/5!

    Churo with icecream
    Pushkal J.

We recently visited this Mexican fusion restaurant and were genuinely impressed by how creatively it blends bold traditional flavors with a modern twist. The elote corn was a standout -- perfectly grilled with a slight char, coated in a creamy, tangy sauce, and finished with just the right balance of spice and freshness. It captured that classic street-style essence while feeling elevated and thoughtfully presented. Every dish we tried carried vibrant flavors and a playful, contemporary touch without losing its authenticity. To end the meal, the churro dessert with ice cream was absolutely amazing. The churros were warm, crisp on the outside, and soft on the inside, dusted generously with cinnamon sugar and paired beautifully with the cold, creamy ice cream -- creating the perfect contrast of textures and temperatures. The service was attentive and welcoming, and the atmosphere felt lively yet comfortable, making it a great spot for both casual dinners and special nights out. It's a place that delivers flavor, creativity, and a memorable finish all in one experience.

Korean beef taco, shrimp taco, and fried fish taco!

Fantastic service, great food, generous servings, and very nice employees working both at the cashier's position and in food preparation. We ordered fish tacos, adobada tacos, a burrito, and chicken flautas, along with drinks. Each of the tacos were stuffed with tasty ingredients, the burrito was easily enough for two meals, and the flautas was excellent. Fresh ingredients, generous amounts of guacamole, perfectly seasoned meats, and simply delicious Mexican food. Plenty of chips with the meal, too. Chando's has a self-serve salsa bar with numerous options to flavor the food the way you want plus very fresh Pico de Gallo to top it all off. I don't know how the meal could have been any better. The food was ready in a bit over five minutes once the order was placed and all items were made exactly as requested. A very enjoyable and filling early dinner with excellently prepared Mexican food that tasted truly authentic. Thanks for the care in preparation and quality of the ingredients.
