    Melon salad - the best
    Jelly F.

How have I never reviewed this? My all time favorite restaurant. The best food. The best workers and great atmosphere. We have gotten to know them all quite well over the years and are so thankful for their food, service and friendship. The best salads you will ever find, and that is not up for debate. Pizza is top notch. Appetizers are the greatest. Not a single negative thing to say. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

    Seasonal strawberry salad

My family and I love this place!! The pizza is delicious and their seasonal salads are to die for!! The strawberry salad is my favorite and the heirloom tomato is a close second!!

Spicy Caesar salad, a must try!
    Dana A.

I was so excited to try the spicy Cesar salad and it didn't disappoint! Calabrian chili oil gave it a slight kick. We had the pepperoni with basil and the Helena. Loved the thin crusts, but could have passed on the sausage. It's a great neighborhood spot!

Heard a lot about this place. It's tucked in the corner of the strip mall and seems like a great local spot to hang out. Started with their seasonal salad with persimmons, pumpkin and blue cheese which was an interesting but flavorful mix. Then got a pizza with half stinger and Helena. The Calabrian chili was just mildly spicy. The pizza has a nice thin crust and flavor. Service was good. I would return

    Smore dessert calzone- favorite ever!

Came here for NYE as a tradition, about 4 years in a row! Staff is friendly, and the food is great. We skipped the appetizers since we saw new pizzas and wanted to save room for dessert. The Stinger pizza was the overall favorite and it went fast! Got the Red Forest as well, the Margarita classic, and the Brocolini. The canoli was popular, and so is through affogato, but this is one of the few places I'm aware of that have the smore calzone- and I eat that by myself lol. The craft beer choices are also nice- have selections from hazy IPAs, ciders, and stouts (my favorite) They have games on the tvs, so good for game folks and can get lively!

Fig n pig? (5/5) with Quattro formaggio (4/5)
    Connie C.

Fig n pig (5/5) - love the play of flavors Quattro formaggio (4/5) - so creamy dreamy and unctuous but you definitely something on the side to break it up a little to cleanse the palate My new goal is to try everything on this menu!!

I've had good woodfire pizzas in the past but this one is special. There's a uniqueness that sets this pizza apart from a lot of other specialty pizzas that i've tried. This place is like a blend between Tony's and Golden Boys in SF. After reading their website, it looks like the owner studied at a reputable pizza school in Italy. When you go out of your way to learn from the best, in an effort to lay the building blocks properly, you deserve a raving review. This pizza is so good! Their crust, the flavor, and ingredients really sets them apart. A little pricey but definitely worth it considering the premium level that this pizza operates at.

    Gluten free margherita pizza
    Aman G.

I was happy to find a quality pizzeria while visiting Roseville. I'm pretty picky when it comes to pizza and it's even harder with a gluten intolerance but they do a great job! They make really good thin crust Neapolitan style pizzas, their salads are great also and they have a delicious gluten free crust which can be a bit difficult to find. I definitely recommend! Only addition to their menu that would be great would be some clean bottled options for root beer and ginger beer.

    Helena pizza
    Diana F.

Started off with the Caesar salad. It was perfect - just the right amount of dressing and cheese. The croutons were even better - just the right amount of seasoning and crunch. The broccolini pizza is hands down the best flavor combination. The crust was had the right amount of chew and it wasn't thick. Definitely going back. 10/10 recommend.

    Broccolini was delicious
    Sarah A.

Broccolini was delicious. Lots of garlic, with a good balance of fresh burrata cheese. The goat cheese was a bit strong but I like goat cheese. Dough was a highlight with the perfect chewy texture. Definitely makes me want to come back and try the other pizzas they have. Minus one star because we ordered for pick up, waiting 50min, came on time and the pizza wasn't done. We went out to walk around for 5-10min, came back and our pizza wasnt put in the warmer when it was ready and had gotten cold.

    Kids cheese pizza
    Steffany I.

It's been a while since our last visit and the pizza is delicious as always. Nicely charred and crispy. They continue to have rotating seasonal items, as well as the well known favorites. They are still busy as ever! We came on early on a Friday evening and there was about a 15 minute wait. Service was great with friendly and attentive staff.

    Chicken Milanese Sandwich
    Jason T.

Heard many great things about this place and decided to try it on a Friday night. Walked into a packed house and was seated almost instantaneously. There's always bar seating too if you're into that. We ordered the Ali's special which consisted of ricotta, goat cheese, mozzarella, pistachios, red onions, spicy honey, and Parmesan. If you aren't interested in a typical red sauce slice, this is definitely the way to go. The server recommended adding prosciutto and having it cooked along with the pizza. The result was spectacular. The ricotta and goat cheese paired so well with each other, and the prosciutto became crispy just like bacon. The only thing I could say is that the pistachio flavor was quite muted, but it was by far one of my favorite pizzas in a while. We also tried the Chicken Milanese Sandwich which the server recommended since it would be leaving the menu soon. It was delicious, but may have had too many Calabrian chilis in it. But man oh man, the sandwich came with a side of these crispy smashed potatoes, and I have to say these were the star of the show. They were so crispy on the outside and soft on the inside that we asked the server for a side of potatoes to take home. If you do decide to come, the smashed potatoes are a must have. The atmosphere is lively and exciting, and all of the staff members are unbelievably kind and attentive. We'll definitely be back.

The owner, Al Santos, calls back to discuss further details and confirms the order which I think is such a plus especially in a world where everything is digital. We can't say enough about Al's hospitality! And the fact that he is from Niles, we loved supporting a Bay Area native! Our reservations of usually 30 or more are ready for us when we come in - Al made sure there was a table for the team and then separate ones for the parents. They also accommodate different checks - not individual ones which is difficult but we batch together orders to make it easier on the staff. We were all ready to go and find another restaurant, but the person seating said to wait a minute. A table was just cleared and she was able to seat us. It was a good thing we paused as we got a table in back, next to the birthday party alcove. When we walked to our seats we passed an alcove with couches and chairs and whole bunch of kids jumping and running around with a few adults mingled in. As it turns out it was a birthday party for one of the adults. They sang to him and he blew out the candles on his cake. The restaurant is quite loud, but not too loud that you could still have a conversation which was a surprised as it was so loud. This is not the place to go for a romantic dinner. It's a pub, minus the year round Shepard's pie. They change the menu twice a year and that's only served fall/winter. That was sad because that was what I really wanted to order. Service was really good, the waiter kept coming back and checking on us. We first ordered drinks, then appetizers. We go the baked Brie Board for the table (there was 4 of us). It was a really solid appetizer. We all over the baked Brie and fruits included. I would order it again for a table of 4. My husband ordered the Monk's Burger and found it very tasty. I agree it was good, but a little on the dry side and the fries wern't crispy enough and tasted old. I got the Halibut. I found it tough and hard to cut into, maybe it was over seared a bit. It didn't taste fish at all which was good. The Cherry and Currant chutney was unusually and addd a good flavor to it. I wouldn't order it again. My girlfriend ordered the Moules Frites and said it had a very generous potion and would feed two easily, though she ate it all herself after sharing some with the table. Everyone agreed it was very tasty. The presentation was good too. It came in a large pot. Lastly our other friend ordered the fish and chips and said it was a generous portion. He only ate half of it and took the other half home and he was hungry to begin with. Parking is street parking or there is a free garage a couple of blocks away and over the bridge. You can see the train passing by on the other side of the bridge. Overall it was a good meal. I though my halibut was subpar and the fries that came with the burger had the texture and taste of old fries, they were also just room temperature when they were borough out. Sadly they weren't piping hot from the frier.

I loved the carrots more the first time because the second time the crema was kinda drowned in lime juice. The first time they were served only with a lime on the side, and I didn't even use it. But regardless, they were fully consumed both times! I have also had the duck fat crisps and oh my, fabulous as well! The Quesabirria Calzone was huge and great! I also do appreciate the selection of drinks they offer. Time to go back as I'm getting hungry! :)

My husband and I tried this place for a date night, it was a great choice ! We ordered the Combo…read morepizza which had a variety of meat and veggies and the Quesabirria calzone. We enjoyed both. The calzone was more favored, it was huge and filled with a lot of meat, onions and cheese. It also came with a dipping sauce that made it the perfect dish. If you want a quiet atmosphere this might not be the place for you. There is an outdoor option to sit at as well. There is also a bar. I already recommend this place to a few of my friends. It was a great experience overall and will definitely come back to try more i of the menu. The service was great as well, friendly and attentive Mariecel
