I came here last Friday with my work crew to have the lunch buffet. Nothing like a pizza all you can eat buffet to keep some hungry guys happy. There's even a salad bar included. This Mountain Mike's Pizza location in Sacramento is just off the 5 freeway at the West El Camino Ave exit. Just go west on El Camino and turn in at the Car'l Jr. It's just in there across from the Starbucks. Plenty of parking. The inside is nice and clean and the cashier was friendly. I paid for the buffets and we went right up to the food. I skipped the salads and went straight to the pizza. No reason to waste tummy space on salad! Ok, one of my guys got some salad. There was a nice selection of pizzas out, not just the cheap cheese or one topping pepperoni, but and nice choice of combo topping pizzas to choose from. I loaded up as did the rest of the guys. We got a nice table and munched on in. There's no skimping on toppings here! What's nice about the buffet option, it's quick to get in and out of here if you need to watch your time for lunch. No waiting to order and then wait for you pizza, just go right up and start eating. The pizza was all very good with a nice crispy crust, no droopy crust here! Buffet is the way to go! read more

The boneless wings were ok. They weren't sauced up like in the picture that I saw on their menu. Chicken was at least moist which is a plus. I've ordered from this location several times and have no problem with the quality of the pizza. Here's my problem, three times in a row they've delvered the pizza 30-45 minutes earlier than the scheduled time, which means I'm serving cold pizza to my family. The previous two times I accepted delivery, but this time was too much. He was 30 minutes early this time. I told him to return the delivery and cancel the order. The driver said he could come back with a fresh pizza but given my experience with 'some restaurants', I wasn't going to gamble whether I would recieve a fresh pizza or not and told him to return it and cancel the order, again. Only after the third time of telling the driver to return the pizza and cancel the order (and the tip, I hope), did the driver walk away. Y'all... sorry for the novel. I'm pissed. My boyfriend and I order Mountain Mikes from this location like once a week, at least. We have always had great experiences and quick delivery until today. If I am rating today's experience- it's a 1/5, but I have to give another few stars because they've been great in the past. I will say that I ordered this pizza to help me get through a 6-page essay I have to write for my English Lit class, so it was intended as a treat and a pick-me-up. It became a nightmare and I am beyond angry. I ordered a sausage and pineapple pizza (don't judge, it's great) online. Though the money was taken from my bank account, including a 25% tip, I didn't recieve my usual confirmation email. After my estimated delivery time came and went, I called the store and spoke to a woman who very clearly did not understand english enough to hold a conversation over the telephone. She was no help and when I asked to speak to someone else, she said there was only one other person there and she wouldn't be any more helpful to me. She then said the manager was out and would be back in 15-20 minutes. Twenty minutes passed and, still without my pizza, I called back to speak to the manager. The same woman told me the manager was out and would be back in 15-20 minutes.... again. Finally, pulled out of the bed of a pick-up truck and thirty minutes late, my pizza arrived. I opened the box to find a pepperoni and sausage pizza. Fuck. Mountain Mikes pepperoni cups are like little bowls of grease, and even if I did like them (which I don't), it wasn't what I ordered. So I called the restaurant a third time. The same woman answered and I let her know the error. She said she could have my pizza remade and redelivered but it would take a while. I asked if I could feed the pepperoni pizza to my boyfriend and she said no, they need it back. I asked if I would be getting some sort of coupon for having to go through all this trouble and she said I could either have my pizza redelivered OR get a coupon. I let her know that after waiting two hours to recieve my original order, I believed that I should get what I ordered as well as a coupon. This is when SHE LAUGHED AT ME. Asking for the manager again, she told me the manager would be back in (YOU GUESSED IT) 15-20 minutes. I let her know I would be expecting him to call me in half an hour, but she let me know that he's super busy with manager stuff and he will get to me when he gets to me. Relatively soon after, I recieve a call. The manager? NOPE! The same woman. She let me know she had spoken to the manager and was going to tell me what he said, but like... no. Why? At this point I'm done so I told her "No, I don't want to be speaking to you anymore, he can tell me himself" and she transferred me to him. He apologized for not taking my call as he is both the delivery driver and the manager... seems legit. Anyway, he said he would bring me a new pizza. I'm waiting for it now. My original order was supposed to be delivered an hour ago. So maybe I'm hangry, but maybe this was a shitty experience. Either way, I'm scared my pizza's gonna have boogers on it now. read more

I've had Mountain Mikes several times before but not at this location. I was in the mood for pizza so orded the Chicken Club pizza through Grub Hub. I was supposed to get free delivery for signing up with Grub Hub but it didnt work so I said "Oh well", as didn't feel like messing with it. The pizza came within the timeframe of around 45 mins. It was still pretty warm and tasted great, but could of had a little more sauce as was a tad dry. I ordered using DoorDash in the restaurant packaged my salad with no fork and I'm staying at a hotel, so I'm unable to eat the salad.
