Who doesn't love deep fried chicken wings? Tonight we ordered pick up from the J st location. Our usuals: 2 orders of 20 Chicken wings with 3 sides - Macaroni salad & beans & fries -Kiki's Fries 10/10 [[HIGHLIGHT]]Place is always a vibe[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. Check them out if you haven't already.

This place is one of my favorite late-night bites. I rarely get to go since I don't live in the area anymore. I always end up getting the Kiki fries each time I visit. The chicken with the cheese and the sauce has so much flavor. It's easily the crowd favorite on the menu. The service is usually fast & efficient.

I had to pick up a quick dinner for my boys. Found this Kiki's on my route home located on J St. between 19th & 20th. We had Kiki's many times. Usually the Elk Grove location or food trucks. My first time at this location. It was a quiet Sunday night. Everyone is probably at home or at a bar watching the superbowl. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I kind of mixed up on the orders and she noticed that I wanted to add the chicken to the Kiki's tater tots. The orders were ready within 10 minutes. I'll have to remember to come to this location. It's somewhat more convenient than the EG location. My boys were happy and full. They enjoyed the Kiki's Tater Tots with Chicken and BBQ sauce.

Their food Absolutely delicious. I recommend this place to anybody? Great food great customer service

Neighborhood chicken shack serving chicken wings, chicken tenders, chicken sandwiches and more. Food: Fried chicken sandwich - 5/5 - the works plus side sauces Grilled chicken sandwich - 3/5 - definitely not as tasty as the breaded fried version Wings (bone-in & boneless) - 5/5 - can't go wrong with the classics Tenders - 4.5/5 - Despite being call tenders not all the pieces of tenders are tender but that's partly about getting fresh cuts Kiki's loaded fries/tots - 3.5/5 - the meat to fries portion is off; also the portion size gets really filling Regular straight cut fries Shoestring fries Tater tots Sauces & dips - nice variety of sauces and dips Ambience: Fast food/fast casual dining space Service: Fast and friendly

I stopped by this Kiki's location for the first time today for lunch. I was really craving the Kiki's fries!! This Kiki's is located in Midtown off of 19th Street and J. It has typical parking like Midtown, with there's curbside parking (which there were none available when I arrived). There's a very small parking lot in the back that is shared with the Starbucks right next door. The woman that helped me up the register was very sweet and very patient taking my order. I ordered six boneless wings, half with honey barbecue sauce, the other half with their signaturesKiki sauce( sweet and spicy!). I alsoordered the Kiki fries and a soda. I was so excited to eat my meal especially the fries. I took my meal to go enjoy at home. The boneless chicken was kind of tough to chew into and hard. I didn't get to finish it all...I took a few bites and threw it away. But, the Kiki fries were on point!! I would have given this location five stars if the chicken wasn't so hard to eat. But, definitely would stop by again for the friendly service when I'm in the area. Thank you Kiki's!!

I've heard a lot of praise for Kiki's so I was excited to try it, but I was a bit disappointed. I got takeout and it smelled fantastic in the box. The chicken strips were perfectly crispy on the outside, but the meat was dry and tough. So it wasn't that enjoyable, even though their sauces (kiki sauce and bold BBQ) tasted fantastic. Garlic fries were bland and had no salt, not enough garlic.

Two fresh tenders & fries galore (with 5 sauces I ordered)

I fully expected Kiki's to be a place that is only good for late night food after libations. Boy, was I wrong. I've now ordered from this location twice for delivery in the last month, both times at about 8:30 pm & have been pleasantly surprised. The chicken tenders are crispy as are the fries and they always get my crazy order of 6 different sauces into the bag. If you order other "fast" food on the grid you know this isn't normal & you will not get your sauce. I'm a Kiki's fan.

Was told to try this place out if we came to Sacramento. And it did not disappoint! The tenders were extra juicy and their Kiki's sauce was the bomb! I would recommend getting it on top of the chicken. The fries were fresh and went great with their ranch. Definitely want to go back and try the Kiki fries and try their wings with the same sauce on it next time. Service was fast as well we didn't wait long and they brought the food to our table.

I order a small Kiki fries without chicken. but I wish they would put more sauce that look more in their adverise picture. So maybe definitely ask for extra cheese and sauce. (Not sure if they charge extra for cheese) It's a cool kind of sma joint to hangout and grab a bite. It's kind get very pack during rush hour lunch.

Stopped this place for a snack after checking out the Farmer's Market. Got a 3 Tender (Lemon Pepper) and a 3 Wing (Kiki's Sauce) Combo with shoestring fries to share. The lemon pepper was amazing and the Kiki's sauce was decent (sweet chili variant). Cashier was really nice.

Price range: low and affordable for midtown. To consider: scarce parking spots if you're trying to dine in. Gets surprisingly busy at night. Wait time: -10 minutes at any given moment. Food & drinks details: the food is AMAZING (even more so after a long night of partying). They don't serve alcohol. Shoutout(s): to the short wait time! The short wait is a lifesaver. If you're trying to sober up a bit, this place has all that greasy chicken to even out your system. Location review: moot the best spot to drive to. If you're looking for a chicken place and you're not super close by I would go somewhere else, so you're not stressing about parking. Service: it's amazing. They are always chill. The menu is usually tricky for me (since I'm visual) but the employees are always happy to help. Employees some times bring me my food without warning. That's always a kind gesture. Expectations: I did not expect the food to be this good! I also did not expect it the food to be served as quickly as it did with all the guests inside. Amazing work! Improvements: none other than to put a few logos lower to the windows, so drivers and pedestrians can spot the business better. People don't look up too much these days, so maybe a few promotional banners at eye level would be ok. Last words:

Love this place. 10/10. Their Kiki's fries is sooooo good! Whenever I'm in town I always order Kiki's fries, whether it's to eat right away or for takeout later. Their fries have a mixture of blue cheese, mozzarella, buffalo sauce & their chicken. Their chicken is so delicious and creamy but crispy. It almost reminds me of Raising Canes! They have outdoor dining since inside looks pretty small so i'm glad they're doing that to keep others and employees safe. They have numbers placed on the floor for lining up & they're extremely welcoming! Overall this was a great way to start off my weekend and I'm always so excited to stop by this place whenever I'm in the area.

When you pay, you also enter your phone number so they will let you know when the sandwich is ready. They were busy, as it was lunchtime. Still the sandwich came quickly. I got the text that my sandwich was ready at the same time that they called my name. The sandwich was very good. I liked their aïoli and the vinaigrette, you could tell that they were good quality, meats, and the veggies were very fresh. They were very generous with the fillings. I had it on sourdough, and it was a very good quality sourdough as well. I ordered a small sandwich, and it was enough to fill me up. For what I got, the price was extremely reasonable. I would definitely come back. Thanks for the suggestion, yelp!

My to-go order is the Hornet on a Dutch crunch roll with everything on it except mustard. Make it a combo with chips and a drink, and you'll have an incredible lunch. The ambiance is different from other sandwich spots in midtown. The chairs and tables are older and worn, and it's small inside, but it's also inside an old house that was converted into a restaurant. That alone makes this place unique. People hang out inside or outside with friends and enjoy the vibes. There's a real sense of community that the Sandwich Spot brings along with uniquely crafted sandwiches. All of the sandwiches are named after people or landmarks in Sacramento. The restaurant is in a really cool old Victorian house, and the staff were super friendly. The interior was clean and looked like a nice place to dine in, but I ended up taking my order to go. I ordered the #19 with turkey, prosciutto, avocado, and swiss on a dutch crunch roll. The bread had just gone into the oven, so we had to wait about 10 minutes, but I can't complain because it was baked fresh to order. Overall, I thought the sandwich was very good, but honestly not quite as amazing as people online had made it out to be. It was definitely good, but I don't know if I'd be dying to go back when I think Ike's, Mr. Pickle's, Corti Bros, and maybe even Nugget or Sprouts make more interesting sandwiches. To me, those places use slightly higher quality ingredients as well, though maybe I just didn't order the best sandwich here. Overall, it was a good sandwich and a good experience. My expectations were probably just a little too high. I wouldn't be dying to come back but also wouldn't say no if someone wanted to go there for lunch.

The workers have always been helpful and answered any questions about the menu or even helped with recommendations. The ambiance isn't anything special. It's like most sandwich spots with tables, chairs and a restroom for customers. You're probably not pulling out your laptop to do any work or catch a vibe there unless listening to music and sending emails in a sandwich restaurant is your thing. My go-to order is the Amuna's Tuna on Dutch crunch with everything on it except jalapeños. If you're feeling a little lucky, you can get a combo meal with chips and a drink. They also sell big cookies. You also get a nice caramel apple sucker candy with your order. Like most restaurants these days, and especially restaurants in midtown, you're looking at $15-$20 for a sandwich and combo. It's pricey.

I'm likely in the minority in my opinion, but bear with me. I'm torn between a 3 and a 4, and…read moresticking with a 3 because this shop just didn't measure up ... to me. For starters, Ike's has its own way of doing things: plain mayo is not their thing. Only way to get plain mayo on a sandwich is to get lucky that there's a smidgen still left in a jar in the fridge after they prepare their house spread. They mix GARLIC and gawd knows what else for spices to make their Ike's sauce, so allergies beware. They offer plain mustard, but not plain mayo? For seconds, the sandwich bread is not up to the challenge of holding together the mountain of fillings inside. Pics prove my point. I want to eat a sandwich with my hands, not a plastic fork (or a shovel). And I don't want to wear it, not in public. Proportions, people! One size does not fit all. Now, in fairness, the meat, cheese, lettuce and tomato were fresh, chilled, and flavorful. However, IMHO $2.00+ to add equivalent of half an avocado is robbery when a whole avocado is $1 in the market. Fortunately I arrived when there wasn't another person in the store so I was able order up a plain ham and cheese sub with L, T, and A. The counter person was patient as I attempted to navigate the menu board. I communicated my wish for a simple sandwich and it arrived, albeit ridiculously overstuffed and above my budget expectations. Props for kindness and understanding. My first visit to any shop is always testing how well they do basics. So far, I'm not an Ike's fan. I'm no newcomer to sub sandwiches. At 82, and being a Massachusetts native, I've been a sub girl for at least 75 years, ever since I could wrap my fingers around the perfect sub roll.
