The pizza is good, but not a mind blowing. It served its purpose as it filled our bellies and tasted a-ok. We ordered delivery and got two large pizzas, both having split toppings. One pie was a half Hawaiian and half black, olive mushroom, and pepperoni. The other pie was half supreme and half veggie. I tasted both pizzas; and the supreme was my fave with the Hawaiian being a close second. The toppings were super fresh, but the sauce was on the bland side and could the pizza, as a whole, could have used salt and some Italian seasoning. Wow look no further for one of the yummiest pizzas in Natomas. Smell and Taste of fresh ingredients lures you for more slices so get extra to share. For my family feast we got the XL Chicken Tandoori and Chicken Tikka Masala Pizzas. The amazing fresh ingredients you can smell and once you bite it you can taste the ginger, garlic, chili and flavored chicken. The employees were friendly and clean, wore masks. I ordered and sat around and waited. We were the only customers there. But as we waited for our pizza, we saw many customers coming in to pick up their orders. This is one of the best Indian style pizza places around. They also have traditional pizzas as well. Their dough is really really good. I'm assuming that they use the same/similar dough that they use for their naans. We usually get the Chicken Tikka Masala pizza, which is delicious, the ingredients are fresh, meats are tender and veggies are crisp. The interior of the restaurant is a bit sparse, but the service is good, and the owner is friendly. It's a mom and pop owned restaurant and they really care about the customers. It's not often that you can get top notch Indian food and also pizza at the same restaurant. Championz never disappoints. read more

We stated that we know what tiki masala looked like, being that it was not the first time we ate Indian food, or tiki masala and not the first time we ate there! Had to state twice that we have ordered it here before and the lady behind the cashier that stood there the entire time not saying anything decided to step up and say that it wasn't tiki masala and they would correct it and we could have the wrong order as well free of charge. Shame on the cashier for lying especially after saying we've been here before and know what it looked like. Don't lie to your customers, especially if it's returning customers. We may not be the decent of the food we are ordering, but customers are not dumb when they are ordering food that they enjoy and are coming back for. Leaves a bad taste in the customers mouth. The wrong order that we received for free wasn't that great. Don't know what it is still. Thank you anyways. We had the Chicken Tikka Masala and cheese Pizzas, with buffalo chicken wings. My kids loved the cheese pizza saying no wonder it's called Champions because they are the best. If you like Indian food then you would like the Indian inspired Pizzas for sure. On both Pizzas the crust was perfectly cooked, nice combination of crunchiness and chewiness. Cheese to sauce ration was also well balanced. Indian curry on pizza. How can it be bad?! This place did NOT disappoint. It's inside an Indian market so you can shop around while you wait for your food. They have everything in the market but I won't go into any details in this review. Two coworkers and I ordered three pizzas and they were all delicious but my favorite was probably the tikka chicken. The only thing I regret is not getting the lunch deal of a pizza and a drink for $9.99 that was posted on the board. I think just the pizza was $10.99 each. I mean why not get a drink for a dollar less? But no complaints on the pizza. The worst Indian restaurant in town. Their service is a joke. I came here on 8/21/22 with my family. My total came out to $131. They put in 4 orders of a food item when I only ordered one. After 40 mins of being here, they only bought half of my order and when asked about the other half? They said we never ordered it. After showing them the receipt and confirming that we did order it. They said they forgot and will bring it out. Good luck getting water. Oh did I mention they only bring one item of entree at a time every 10-15 mins. Lowering to 3 stars due to lack of masks and general cleanliness. Covid protocols seem to be ignored, flies buzzing around and there is grime building up on many surfaces. The gentleman working at the register/phone can also be rude. Some of the other younger employees are more pleasant to deal with. Taking a break from this spot because I just don't trust that the kitchen is clean when the rest of restaurant is not being maintained.
