Being adventurous my wife and I tried their Aloha Hawaiian Pizza. It was delicious! A perfect fusion of Chicago-style soft raised crust in the middle, with NY-style slightly crunchy bottom and curls of cheese on the top! It was the best pizza I've ever had! Mountain Mikes slices their pizzas into 10 slices, perfect for party sampling; or so kids can easily handle them all by themselves with ease! Was in town for work and craving pizza, Mountain Mike's had very good reviews so wanted to check it out to watch the Dodgers, have a beer and pizza. Came here two nights in a row and it would have been a 5 if I only visited the first night. They had a Buffett of pizza and salad and a drink, took advantage of it and really enjoyed the everything. Lots of variety on the Salad bar, blue cheese was tasty and the pizza was very good. Had a large Modelo as well, perfect! They have indoor and some outdoor seating, video games, lots of TV's and lots of seating, casual atmosphere, all great things. Came back the second night thinking I would get the all you can eat Buffett again, sadly, they did not have any pizza out for the Buffett, no worries, deciding to get. Personal pizza and a salad bar. For some reason, you can't get an individual salad bar if you are eating there, you have to get all you can eat, again not the end of the world, but a slight ding. Then I would think a personal pizza would take a short amount of time, but I was wrong. It took over 30 minutes to get my pizza, then it sat on the counter for awhile and I had to go ask for it, by that time, it was warm not hot and started to get soft, disappointing after my first night, but still like the place, maybe better time management on the pizza's and I would give it 5 stars. When we got there, we decided to stay as it wasn't too busy (3:30pm) we also ordered a salad, we were super happy about the salad bar-fresh and delicious!! We went to get a discount deal and were very disappointed with it, it was only 4 small slices of pizza 2 pepperoni and 2 Hawaiian. The pizza was so bad that we decided that our frozen pizza is sadly better. the lady was nice who assisted me yet there was no napkins given. The inside of the restraunt was clean and nice but the outside has never been cleaned it seems dirty tables and chairs we didn't even sit down due to having light colored pants and all over the floor was trash from people that were eating there and also homeless trash consisting of chopped up bungee cords. The salad bar was completely ready for service. I t had a good variety of toppings to choose from. It wasn't until almost 11:30 before any pizzas were ready and available. The entire place had no other customers but one take out order. The girl who was attending ( or not) didn't really engage whatsoever. Eat here all the time and food is great. Went here with my family Monday and the pizza tasted stale and was not fresh. Told the two young women working and they said the owners were out of town. They never apologized or tried to make it right. When I told the lady at the register she said "hold on one minute" and went to the back. First time coming to this pizza parlor since they took over the space previously occupied by Blaze. Indoor decor is not that different. But....not everyone goes to a pizza parlor for the decor. I certainly don't...! I've always said the best pizzas are the ones where the toppings and cheese go all the way to the edge. That kind of pizza is soooo hard to find in America... But I found it at Mountain Mike's. I am overwhelmed with joy with how much attention to detail their chefs put in to making sure there are a lot of toppings, and they cover almost the entire circumference. Hooray, finally we get a new pizza place in town. I love when new businesses come to Santa Maria. Especially when their food is amazing. Mountain mikes has been around for a very long time and I had one in a city I are used to live in. When mountain mikes opened in Santa Maria I was curious to know if it would still taste as delicious. My curiosity was for filled when I went to try it out. The pizza is phenomenal. I absolutely love it and their salads are great and fresh as well. Not too hungry to have a whole pizza to yourself? Order the mini, I think that's what it's called. It is a very small pizza that has six miniature slices. It's perfect if you're not too hungry but still want to feel satisfied. You get up to three toppings on it and you won't regret it. The staff at the Santa Maria location is great. Even when they first opened and definitely you could tell how overwhelmed they must have been with the hundreds of orders coming through they still greeted you with a smile on your face and did their best to accommodate you. The only thing I wish is that the location was better. The dining area is just so small there's not enough room to have a lot of customers sitting and eating in. read more

This past week we lost our Step Dad to COVID.. I live in LA but I have been home with family and wanted a nice "feel better" meal so I called Mountain Mikes, my FAV new spot in Santa Maria, to place a delivery order on Saturday night... The delivery time was 2.5 hours so I took it as a sign It just wasn't mean to be.. I'm not even upset about the wait time because I know many businesses are experience labor shortages. BUT I was actually pretty sad about it.. We ended up ordering Bello Forno and they actually forgot about our order which was a mess.. but again, labor shortages. anyway.. The following day we were having a pretty tough day of course and I stepped out the front door to get something out of my car and noticed there were two boxes of Mountain Mikes pizza sitting on the doorstep.. Ummm.. I thought maybe my Mom or Brother ordered it for me because they know how special this place is to me.. Neither of them ordered It and it didn't belong to any of our neighbors either.. umm..what??? I called Mountain Mikes to let them know of the situation.. They put me on hold then came back and let me know it was an error of their part and that I could just keep the pizza. The delivery driver delivered to the wrong address. WHAT WOW OKAY YES! Their food is Amazing. My parents wanted to try Mountain Mike's since I let them know they are our new favorite pizza. Placed order online about 4:00 pm on Saturday for delivery about 5:00 pm. I'm in Santa Maria for 3 days for work and tonight I decided to order mountain Mike's through Uber eats. Again, I can't rave enough about how much I love using Uber eats, especially when I travel. I ordered The McKinley, SMALL pizza with Regular Crust and an individual house salad with Ranch through the Uber Eats app. I was running on the treadmill but watched as my order was processed. I met the driver outside once I saw that she was a minute away. The McKinley is my favorite from MM- tons, tons of ingredients. The red sauce is so tangy (in an awesome way) and the ingredients are so fresh. Large size sausage through out, thinly sliced vegetables and the crust perfectly baked. Not the right pizza order :( The Peak was on point but instead of the Hilo they decided to give me a peperoni with jalapeno. Long story short, manager corrected our order to the Hilo pizza (which was freakin delicious), through in the wrong pizza in for free and everything was delcious. I really wanted to give a great review, but there was an issue with my order. I had a carry out order and they forgot the salad. When I called I was asked if I wanted delivery or pick up of the missing item. Since I am outside of the very limited delivery area I had to pick up. There was no compensation for the extra trip I had to take to receive the rest of the order. When I got there I was told to get the salad from a salad bar! I find buffet type items to be substandard. I was expecting a fresh salad for the price I paid. Instead I got some old tired food that had been picked over by the customers of the day. The employee that I spoke with would only offer a pathetic apology and did nothing to make things right. I will say that the pizza was good even though it was pricey. This is a good pizza joint. This location in particular . Ive ordered consistently over the last few months (every few weeks) mainly thru doordash. We had one off meal, burnt mini pizzas. But, the rest were epic pizza nights. The bone-in wings are always so well produced. Artichokes always well applied... this is one of the last pizza joints that doesn't force pineapple on slices yet offers anchovies as a side or topping. When Mountain Mike's is on point... they really are the best pizza in this sleepy valley. I love Patricio In Orcutt most days... great Scott has always been a staple.
