Mountain Mike's used to be my pizza restaurant of choice, however, I've noticed they've implemented some form of budget restrictions to their food. Their specialty pizzas now come with 40% less toppings. Even their pickled jalapeños are only 30% of their original. Extremely disappointed. I will never be ordering from Mountain Mike's again. I'm not sure if anyone knows, but this location has changed ownership apparently and has terrible customer service. We have a coupon card we've purchased from a fundraiser deal last year. It is good until June this year. It's a free medium one topping pizza with a purchase of any large specialty. We get there and they said they aren't honoring this deal anymore because of the new ownership. What terrible customer service. I told them keep the damn medium pizza! Won't be going back! Ordered a large Everest, twelve wings, and garlic cheese bread for delivery on Friday night. Delivery was faster than expected and the food was hot, in great condition, and as I hoped it would be. The driver was friendly and tipped accordingly. If you've been turned off by this location, then give them another shot, you might be pleasantly surprised like we were. read more

I ordered the same pizza last week and this week. Last week I asked to have tomatoes as a topping. Once I opened it, I saw there were no tomatoes. I was dissapointed but not angry. Figured that everybody makes mistakes. I did get charged for that topping. So, I placed another order yesterday and specifically selected tomatoes as one if my choices. This time before I left the facility I opened the box and realized there were no tomatoes again. I asked the employees there and they told me they could give me tomatoes on the side. I was irritated and told them that it would not taste the same. I was hungry and tired from work that I just decided to leave. Once I got home, I then realized that another topping was missing, the jalapeños. So this time I got charged for 2 toppings that were missing. I was never disrespectful to the employees because I know how it is with dealing with angry customers. Unfortunately, this can't happen twice in a row. Have ordered from here many times and have enjoyed it. Tonight placed a delivery order at 3:40 for 5pm delivery. At the time delivery times according to website were 30 min. 2 pizzas, one small and one mini. At 5:30 pizzas were not here so I called. Was told they should be there any minute. 25 minutes later delivery girls knocks, asks me if I've paid for my order (she had the receipt in her hand), and hands me two pizzas. Open the boxes and pizza was stone cold. Not even lukewarm. Did she have them on the top of her car? When you pay $30 ($6 delivery fee!) for 2 tiny pizzas, they better be hot. I wasn't impressed with their overall service, I gave my phone number twice, and spelled Douglas 3 times. Ordered a thin crust half and half, pepperoni and sausage with olives. They didn't have Douglas it was listed as Thomas and the sausage side had maybe 8 to 10 pieces of sausage. Don't ever get your pizza delivered by this place. They would literally have you waiting for 90 minutes your pizza is hella cold. When you call they don't greet you they automatically place you on hold waiting over 12 mins. You're better off getting your pizza from the other mountain mikes on S.Mooney. A couple weeks ago I tried the Mobile app version of Mountain Mikes Pizza as I have never had this Pizza before and new to Visalia. All was well until I tried to pay for the food which took my money out of my bank 3 times but continued to say Delivery ERROR. Frustrate, I decided to call the store to see what the hec was going on . Someone answered the phone who didn't understand what I was asking and couldn't find my order. Then came Mr. Thomas Slaughter. Now you find a young,inspiring and problem solver Manager then look no further . I repeated to him about what had happened and that my Debit card was charged three times but said delivery error. He apologized instantly and asked how he could help. I told him I had never tried this pizza before and was new to the area. After he apologized again I said no worries I'm literally two minutes away. I'll come down there. And placed my order. As I arrive and went to the counter I was greeted by Thomas and asked if I was Scott? Yes I said. He apologized for the third time. I reviewed my order with Thomas, and he quickly entered it into the screen. Without even asking, he just counted my pizza by 50% and when my order came out also offered me a free cookie dessert. I did not ask for either one of these. But was pleasantly surprised this is the type of manager. That mountain mikes should be proud of I just wanted to take some time of my day to reach out and tell everyone job well done by Mr. Thomas Slaughter. Such a treat to visit this location! Located in the new Target shopping area, there is plenty of stuff to shop around for. Very nice and clean inside. The seating area maybe fits 50 people, and off to the corner is a small arcade. I went for the lunch buffet special with a few friends of mine, which included the salad bar, pizza, and french bread. I was really impressed with the salad bar, everything looked very fresh and clean, and the pizza was definitely fresh. I would definitely come back to this location. read more

I ordered a thin crust pepperoni with added onions that I paid extra for and extra sauce. What I got was a regular crust pepperoni with a regular crust, no extra sauce and no onions. Not a big fan of this particular establishment. Have been to other Mt Mikes pizza chains, and though the pizza is good, the customer service and atmosphere is not in Visalia. I'm a little grossed out as I frequently see the high school aged teenybopper employees eating where they are making food and playing grab arse where they are making my food. On our last previous trip we ordered pizza and a pitcher of beer, they gave us warm beer and no hot mugs as they Sid they were under staffed and he no cold ones. Probably the best pizza in town. A bit on the pricey side for pizza, but if you want a great pizza, its worth it. I've never dined in here, and I recall there being a little bit of a wait for the pizza, but again, I think it was worth it.
