Unfortunately, there was a woman that came in that said she works here and very loudly complained about her problems as if she were intoxicated, which made the visit very uncomfortable. The pizza is amazing, the atmosphere is phenomenal, and the young guy who took my order was so kind and informative, however I can only give 2 stars because of an employee continuously bashed her co workers for being new and kept talking about how much of a burden training was. Well, they've been open a month or so... And despite the reviews of slow service, decided to swing in for lunch. Looking around, it's clean, lots of windows, lots of sports tv (not my thing, but turned down enough to not be a bother). Pizza was in front of me in 12 minutes! (I timed it). Perfectly cooked... Pizza is better everywhere but here. We were very disappointed. We asked for thick crust and they made it on paper thin crust. Salad bar was good, but not so good that I would go back. Pizza was almost like frozen pizza you would buy at Safeway. The large is actually the size of a medium. We will stick with round table. read more

This was the first time and possibly the last time I go here. There was a lot of confusion at the counter. The first girl couldn't find my paid online ticket. When she found it she nicely offered me water while I waited. Then the other girl behind the counter handed me my pizza while she was talking on the phone. I reminded her I also paid for a salad. She set my pizza on the counter and hands me an empty bowl. She made the assumption that I knew I was supposed to get my own salad. I go to the salad bar and have to lean down and reach as far as I can under the glass to get to cucumbers and carrots. It was as if they don't want you to be able to reach certain items. So now I have a salad and have to ask for a lid while the same girl is talking on the phone. Meanwhile my pizza is getting cold on the counter. I get the lid and cannot get it to snap on so the girl reaches over to help while still talking on the phone. . Now I have to ask her for the dressing. She is talking but I don't know if it is to me or the person on the phone. Meanwhile my pizza is getting cold on the counter. I did not like the do it yourself "service". This is my second time coming to this location. The first time we ordered to go and it was just ok, this time my family and I sat in and ate. First off we ordered, Small cheese, large half and half, and free garlic sticks from a coupon we had. She reads back the total and pay, we take our seat, nothing out of the ordinary. 30-45 minutes go by from ordering, few people here and there, we still don't have anything at our table but the few glasses of water, a soda, the usual for dinner. Finally, they bring out the garlic sticks and then a few more minutes later comes the half and half. We ask about the cheese and she says it is coming soon. 10 more minutes as my parents are eating, my dad flags her over and asks, she says it is coming, 10 more minutes and my dad gets up again to ask what's up. She says it is coming still. This has now been about 60 minutes of waiting for a small cheese pizza. The lady at the counter now won't make eye contact with us. About 10 or so more minutes, my mom leaves to go run and get something from Walmart and my dad has to get up again, he asks her again what the hold up is since the kitchen is moving moderately fast for other orders. She tells him that she will bring it to the table. He comes and sits down, and we wait a few more minutes She brings a mini cheese and a box for the leftovers my parents have. She then tells my dad that she is the only one working the counter, busting tables, and working the phone so when she says it was coming it was. She says this though the men working in the back were picking up the phone, the bartender had to run and get pizzas, while she did stand there and take orders or do nothing. Then tells us we never paid for the small cheese pizza and she read the order back to my mom and when my mom asked about the price with coupon, she said yes. Well, the lady at the counter never repeated the order, just said the total. Also with all the times, we asked we even said we could have ordered another pizza had she told us those 4-5 times my dad asked when it was coming to a cheese pizza. She then tells us it would have taken the same amount of time, 30-45 for a small cheese pizza. When my dad tries to tell her that he understands, he worked food service when he was younger, she just tells him that she is the only one working, finally, she leaves us to grab our things. I also did eat the pizza when we returned home, some of the most disgusting pizza I have had, it tasted like a 5 dollar or less pizza, like Little Ceasars with more plastic cheese, a tomato paste with the consistency of mud, and thin cracker-like crust that was burnt. It's great. The workers are all young and kind. They have a full bar which is awesome; a bar tender as well. Sport games are always on, if you want something else on tv, they will change it right away. The owner is always there and he will help you out up front as well. Out of all the bad reviews, I've decided to leave a good one. Last night my mom ordered pizza and wings for us after a long trip home, and wanted it delivered. And since I have celiac disease, I obviously have special requests all the time. Usually we get pizza from other places around the area, but decided to give this one a shot since it just opened. Let me emphasis that: They just opened. Of course they're going to have bumps. But last night, there were none. My mom ordered a large pizza, a gluten free pizza, and some wings for delivery. They delivered BEFORE they said they would, which is amazing. The pizzas were nice and hot, fresh. My parents really have always liked Mountain Mikes everything so they enjoyed theirs, and I really enjoyed my gluten free pizza. No, the crust wasn't cardboard-like, the sauce was perfect, enough cheese, good flavor. I can't say anything about the wings personally, but my parents liked them enough to finish them off. So yes, they're new and trying to get organized, and yes, they're delicious. 10/10 we'll most definitely order from here again. read more

I have to preface this by saying I know it's a new location. The service honestly isn't that bad. There just seems to be some confusion among the staff. So between the service and the product it just left me wanting more. It seemed when I asked about the status of an order no one seemed to know where it was or if it had even been started. My questions were met with dismissive tones. The pizza seemed to be lacking or it was hastily made. Between the puddles of grease and the burning around the crust I'll just have to try again another time. First time actually eating at our local Windsor Mountain Mikes. I was with my wife and daughter and though not significantly busy at 5:20pm on a Saturday. Our order which include garlic sticks, a large pizza and a small cheese pizza. We waited for about 40 minutes since we had order a appetizer I walk up to check on our order and was just a moment. Well both our sticks and large pizza came out in 45 minutes....pretty normal for pizza not really for sticks....but whatever. As my wife and I began to eat we noticed the small pizza was not coming out. I motioned over to the young lady we ordered with and she she stated it will be out out soon. We waited and watched the next 6 orders after us get delivered and she stopped by and it is coming and walked away. So after she walks out with a mini pizza and said we never ordered a small pizza and she even read back the price of our order and we verified that included the coupon and she said yes. I stated to her she could have told us that 30 minutes ago and we would have paid (aka going to dinner with the family). She stated it would have taken the same amount of time and justified that she was busy taking orders and answering phones (which was cute because it really was rather slow and I didnt make her work schedule so I didnt care. So would I go back.....no not to the windsor store if the service would have been more proactive and let us know there was an issue I would not be writing this now. Incredibly disappointed. I understand they are a new shop in town so the employees must be all new but we ordered online for pick up and when we went in after waiting the 20 minutes they said it would be about five minutes. About ten minutes later they told us they had messed up BOTH of our pizzas and had to remake them both. They only seemed sort of sorry and did not offer any discount or free food (not saying I am entitled to free food or discounts but having to wait another 25 minutes for our pizza is a bit ridiculous). Though they were cooked well, one I ordered didn't have all the correct toppings on it, but I had to be back home to feed my family and did not wish to wait for another 20 minutes.
