    Pepperoni pizza

The pizza at this place is quite delicious. I ordered one slice of regular pepperoni pizza. The slice was quite big. The crust is rather thin, the pepperoni and sauce is tasty and overall is a pretty good pizza. The service was friendly and quick. They heated my pizza in the oven which made it warm right before I was going to eat it. The ambiance is comfortable and relaxing. Would recommend this pizza place.

I love me some Mambo's pizza and I recently (2 years ago) discovered they have burnt ends. a barbecue dish, traditionally made from the point end of a beef brisket. They are known for their rich, smoky, and intensely flavorful taste, achieved through a slow smoking process. The "burnt" part refers to the crispy, caramelized edges that develop during cooking. And they don't cost much and they are delicious!! Mambo's has a friendly staff and their pizza is delicious It reminds me of pizza back East! I'm from Pittsburgh Pa so that's what it reminds me of and it doesn't cost that much! It's our go to pizza in this town

Pizza was too good that i forgot to take a photo before everyone dug into it. Haven't had Mombo's in the longest time but decided to stop by when I was around and it was super good! The mondo was my personal favorite. Not pictured ( chipotle wings) which were also really good! Everyone enjoyed the food.

My friends mentioned to me that Mombo's was good! So for the superbowl we ordered from them. I love the crust! Its thin and airy! A bit soggy in the middle but expected if you dont eat your pizza right away. We got half and half! I got my half with chicken and pesto and my husband got his Hawaiian half. We had it for pick up. The wait was fast and the people were friendly. The price is reasonable. I liked it and was satisfied and will definitely order again!

Mambos does not disappoint, they are always consistently delicious. They have mastered the dough and flavors. Always friendly attitudes and a lot of the same staff for years! They have upgraded the look over the years adding sweet paintings, the Mario art work is the coolest, good vibe! Pizza is great to go but I love getting a slice heated in house, there is something extra yummy about it!!

This was the type of pizza I needed! I really liked the crisp that each bite had. The flavor of the sauce was excellent. I will absolutely stop by for more pizza the next time I'm in town.

Mombo's Pizza has a real sports bar feel to it, with the hip music playing and the big screen TV's along the walls, the pizza is the cherry on top. I wanted a slice of pizza last night so I decided to stop here. You can order a whole pie or just a simple slice. I ordered a single pepperoni for just myself. They actually have pizzas ready, once you order they then put your slices ordered in the brick oven so that it's served hot. I love the fact the pizzas are thin crust. The staff are super friendly and gave excellent customer service. I could tell from all the foot traffic this is the neighborhood go-to for pizza. I enjoyed the end of the Denver Bronco's football game as I delightfully ate my pepperoni slice.

Got max and cheese sauce was very gross not ordering from here again after I took a bite I can't eat any more because the taste I trew it out

I hadn't known too much about Mombos Pizza, but the first time I've tried it was through a winery event where they had catered. The Friday soon after I ordered from Santa Rosa, and it was delicious . The Bombos BBQ is everything I need to fulfill my guilty pleasure when I need some comfort food at night. It's great without, but with a little ranch and hot sauce. . Oof. Mombos definitely adds more creative in their menu than other pizza joints, something I can appreciate, and it goes to tell you they know flavor profiles. Classic and new. In Santa Rosa it's got a good dining hallway next to the counter. Not too big, so maybe don't expect to find a seat during busy hour. You can also grab a slice if you're just in the area and need something to fulfill a craving . The staff inside, very friendly. Feels like everyone enjoys each other and has never had a bad day. Working with good pizza can do that. Check out their menu. See all their fun and tasty combinations. Give it a try.

They use the good kind of pep!

Amazing pepperoni pizza! I love this thin, delicious, melt in your mouth pizza. I want to try all the flavors & toppings. More pricey but you get great quality. Will return forsure!

From the moment I walked in, good vibes all around. Julie is serving me at the bar and she is on point. I started with a glass of Vermentino and the Insalata Della Casa. How many house salads come with artichokes and pickled onions these days? It was light and refreshing. Moving on to the pasta course. I ordered the Scarpariello and it was surprisingly light for a pasta dish, and loaded with flavor. Yellow and red baby tomato sauce with fresh basil, Calabria chili and pecorino. I wanted a glass of red to accompany the dish and was contemplating a Primitivo. When I mentioned this to Julie, she offered an off list Primitivo without the jammy punch. It was nice, she was on to what I was trying to achieve. I ended up with a Sangiovese and my dignity. All around a great experience and I didn't feel like I was mugged after paying the bill. I really appreciate a good glass of wine for $12-15. I am exhausted by paying $20 for mediocre wine in wine country. Thank you Julie and company for appreciating your cliente. But I'm honestly not joking when I say I prefer Pizza Leah to anything I had there. I don't understand how they get the crust like this. It's perfectly chewy and just cooked exactly right. Usually I like the crust but don't love it. Here, I actually do love it. I've been here at least 15 times and I've tried pretty much everything on the menu. My two favorites are the Roo's and the Po-Tay-To. I love how the place is laid out. You can see into the kitchen, and the eating area is exactly what I think a pizza place should look like. It just feels comfortable. One time on my birthday, my wife picked up the pizza and didn't realize that they gave her the wrong one until she got home. She called and went back to get the right one, and when she got there they had forgotten to remake it, so she had to wait. She was honestly pretty mad at that point after making two trips, which I don't blame her for at all. But they were so apologetic that they ended up giving us the pizza for free, and that honestly made up for everything and turned it into a really nice surprise. She got over it pretty quickly after that. Funny enough, it worked out as two trips for two pizzas, and my birthday is 2/2. Now whenever I eat pizza anywhere else, I end up comparing it to Pizza Leah. Other places have good pizza, but this one just checks every single box for me. It just is the perfect pizza for me.

The original brew master became the co-owner when the winery left the beer business in 2003. It was then moved this location in 2004, opening as a brewpub. It's been on my list of places to visit for a while, so my wife, her mom, and I took the opportunity to stop in for a Thursday night dinner on our way to San Francisco from Fort Bragg. The inaugural double IPA (aka Imperial IPA) was made by the current co-owner at a different brewery in 1994. Double means it uses double the hops and malts, and the ABV is quite a bit higher. He then created Pliny the Elder (ABV 8.0%) in 2000, recognized as the most famous DIPA. The track continued, with Pliny the Younger in 2005, a triple IPA (using triple the hops and malts with ABV of 10.25%). This version is available once a year in the spring, since it costs so much money and time to make. With so much malt being used, a large amount of time (and hops) is needed to balance. I've had Pliny the Elder in bottles before, and really liked it: I don't like the hoppy 'piney' taste in my beers, but also recognize that not enough will make the beer too sweet (which I've been facing with a lot my island beers lately). Parking is street only, but there was a lot of it, with the metered parking only requiring payment till 6 pm. We were greeted warmly by the hostess and immediately seated at a table near the bar. As expected, it was quite loud, with after work folks having a good time. We got menus, ordered our food, and then decided what to do about flights. The brewery is also known for their Belgian style and thus offers two different flights. It was my first time, and didn't know how much my wife could help, so decided to order the California Sampler (a selection of 12 different West Coast 5 oz. pours of ales and lagers for $15.45) to start: O.V.L. Stout (Old Vic Loyals) - Irish nitro stout - really beginning to love stouts, and this one was good. Velvet Glow - lager - solid. Ending up buying 6 pack to bring home ($12.99) STS Pils - pilsner. Bought a 6-pack for $12.99. Russian River Porter - Blind Pig IPA - West Coast IPA Happy Hops - Juicy IPA Mosaic Stack - West Coast IPA SimCoe 25 - West Coast IPA Citra Flash Mob - West Coast IPA Mind Circus - Hazy IPA DDH Pliny the Elder - really good. bought two cans at $5.99 each. Pliny the Elder - the original Felt pretty good, so decided to order the Belgian Sampler (9 different for $13.63), Surprisingly, I didn't like it nearly as much (my favorite fruit beer during this trip was the Howzit Punch beer). Petite Robert - table beer Little White Lie - Belgian White Robert - saison Perdition - biere de sonoma Damnation - golden strong ale Mortification - quad Supplication - sour brown ale Intinction - barrel aged pilsner Consecration - sour dark ale In terms of the food, it was solid. The 8 pc chicken wings ($17) were good, and the cheesy garlic bread ($10) was filling. I had the meatball sandwich ($16) and upgraded the fries to a spinach salad (+$4): it was tasty, loved the toasted French bread and marinara sauce, with the meatballs being OK (tasted from frozen)...loved the spinach salad with strawberries and blue cheese. We finished off our meal with a Vinnies (co-owner) sundae: good vanilla ice cream with whipped cream, chocolate sauce, and a lot of almond slivers. Payment was at the table, and me being again very pleasantly surprised at how little the flights were (a typical brewpub where they charge $3-$4 per 5 oz, would have cost 4 times as much...though of course I wouldn't have drunk as much either).

I got a half and half of the bear cub and the fountain grove. Starting with the dough - it was quite bland and odd texture. Not quite crispy, not quite chewy either - a weird in between. Perhaps the dough hydration was a little too low? The sauce - well seasoned, good ratio of cheese to sauce. If anything, maybe a little on the sweet side. The cheese - good ratio, no notes here. the bear cub - good amount of pep applied on the pizza, no cupping action, but tasted fine. Doesn't taste like anything special, but holds its own here. The fountain grove - unfortunately quite a disappointment. Starting off, it was very salty. Maybe from the sausage or salami? I personally still don't understand the craze with piling on ingredients just to have them in California. I've seen it happen so often, and it always falls short of a cohesive pizza, and this one is the same story. Each bite it took just kind of tasted like an amalgamation of random ingredients, there was nothing complementing one another. Overall, a 2/5 pizza. Their employees are very friendly and seemed to have good service. My personal pizza tastes may disagree with others, but I hope there is some room for adjustment or improvement.
