The guys were amazing with not only our things but our dog as well, they even tossed his ball a couple times for him! Not only was this move the smoothest we've had in a long time but the three guys doing were a dream team! We had a blast chatting with them and hanging out, felt like friends came to help us move! I'll never use anyone else now!

If you care about your furniture, your time, or basic human decency -- DO NOT HIRE THEM AND DO NOT BELIEVE THESE REVIEWS. I went out of my way to clearly communicate my expectations before the move: everything needed to be fully wrapped and handled with care. They acknowledged it. They agreed. And then they showed up and did the exact opposite. They didn't even bother to wrap my furniture properly. My dresser and my nightstand were rolled out on a dolly with just a blanket draped over the top -- the entire bottom fully exposed and unprotected. I have photo evidence. This wasn't a mistake. This was how they operate. One of their movers was missing for half the move, and the rest of the crew took 30 minutes to drive across the street. Yes, literally across the street. The level of carelessness and unprofessionalism was beyond anything I've ever experienced. When I confronted them with proof, they first admitted the crew took shortcuts -- then quickly flipped the script and tried to claim that throwing a blanket over a piece of furniture is their "standard practice." That's not a standard -- that's pure negligence, and they had the nerve to defend it. They refused to take accountability. They denied the damage was their fault. And instead of making it right, they offered me a half refund and called it a "goodwill gesture." This company is a scam. They cut corners, gaslight customers, and hide behind empty policies when they're called out. Avoid 801 Moving Company like your furniture depends on it -- because it does. I wouldn't trust them to move a cardboard box, let alone real furniture.

Parts of the furniture went to Pebbles and Twigs in Park City, a consignment shop, and also into a storage space close to my new address. The main guy in charge was professional and experienced. He had a great attitude, too. But the rest of the moving crew was made up of young, inexperienced boys, who received warnings and directions from the main guy throughout the move. Two boys took most of a day to leisurely pack my kitchen cupboards. One boy asked me if I was married, which was inappropriate and intrusive. One of my TVs was broken with a big thumbprint dent on the screen. My expensive pottery was broken and damaged the bookshelf as it fell. The cost of the move, which the owner of the company estimated to be around 2,000.00, ended up costing me over 7,000.00 (after a discount). They didn't have enough trucks, space, or movers, so we had to wait for that. It took two days for the items to be moved, which I attribute to poor planning, disorganization, and inexperienced packers. (I had twice the amount of stuff packed and moved from my house in Maryland, in about five hours in the past.) However, they did a good job moving my sofas up seven flights of stairs because the two sofas didn't fit in the elevator. So, overall, it was a mixed, stressful, and unpleasant experience. Needless to say, they didn't follow-up to ask about my moving experience or ask me for a review of their move. The bottom line is that I would not use them again for my next move, which is coming up in September.

I lined them up for Monday at noon and they knew I was leaving town on Wednesday. A snowstorm hit on Monday and they had to tow two of their trucks out of the canyon, so they couldn't get to me. I understand weather problems, but: 1. They never even called me. I had to call them to find out that they were not only going to be late that day but, in fact, that they were never going to make it that day at all. 2. While they promised to get back to me right away with a reschedule, I had to keep calling and calling to try to get an answer. Meanwhile, time was ticking away quickly. 3. Ultimately, after telling me they would be able to get me in some time the next day, they then reneged and said they couldn't take care of me at all while I was in town. Basically, they didn't want to bump anyone on Tuesday or Wednesday to take care of me, because I was just a small job. They left me completely stranded and, if not for Aaron at Park City Moving Company (who rearranged bigger jobs on his schedule and started his guys early to get me done before my plane left), I would have been totally out of luck. I later was trying to relax from my stress of having the watch stolen and wanted to listen to music. Thats when I noticed my bose wirless headset was gone as well. I then called the police and made a police report. I called the manager the next day. He immediately was basically calling me a liar and saying his guys would never and they must have packed the items which weren't a specified item to pack. The police said he had problems getting in contact with them. I called them back and was berated by the manager in the end he said because you went to the cops he can't talk to me. The owner never got back to me at my request. The officer hasn't got back to me either. I have since gone through all of my boxes and everywhere in the house again as well just in case. They are obviously ok with having thieves on their pay roll and don't care if something does happen to you. I'm sure not all of their people are thieves but they should know that it does happen sometimes and do something to fix it. All i wanted was my items back or for them to reimburse me for the value of the items at least. I have receipts for the items in case anyone was wondering and i also tipped those thieves 60$ each.

We had a very disappointing experience with All Smiles Moving…read more My mother-in-law booked them based on an estimate provided ahead of time (03/26/26) and paid a deposit. However, on the day of the move (04/09/26), they presented a new estimate that was higher than what was originally agreed to. Before the movers even arrived, my husband had already done a significant amount of the work himself, he moved all the boxes into the garage and disconnected the washer and dryer. The only items left in the home were the large furniture pieces. When the two movers arrived, they even commented that this was going to be an "easy move" because of how much had already been done. We were told a crew of 3 movers would be handling the job, but only 2 showed up for most of the move. A third mover didn't arrive until the last couple of hours to help with the unloading. Because of this, the move took longer than it should have and since they charge hourly, that directly increased the total cost. This seems like normal practice for them, a bait and switch. They also spent an excessive amount of time (about an hour) just wrapping furniture, which again added to the bill. At the end, the total came out to nearly $1,000 significantly more than expected. On top of that, we received inconsistent paperwork with different versions of the agreement, which makes the charges even more questionable. Overall, the experience felt disorganized and misleading. Despite the amount of prep work done ahead of time, the job still took longer and cost more than it should have. If you're considering using this company, I would strongly recommend getting everything clearly locked in writing and confirming crew size before the move starts. Unfortunately, we would not use them again.

All 4 people who showed up were extremely courteous, well mannered and respectful of each other, myself, my grandparents, my home, and the piano. They took such great care moving something so special. Safety was of the upmost priority and they took care to make sure the piano was well padded and set so that it wouldn't get damaged in the short drive. I was a little taken aback by the price tag of $250 to move a piano a short distance, but by the end, it was the best $250 I could have spent. I had zero worries, even in the rain. These guys are also very strong- my grandparents and I were amazed by their strength and ability to move the piano so fluidly and safely and knew a special heirloom was in safe and capable hands.

Unfortunately thought they said from my pictures I provided, etc. show there was some clear negligence going on this wasn't something they cover, so that's a good thing to be aware of if you book. Basically my option is to go to small claims court to try to recoup since there was a breach of contract (not providing the moving supplies and tools he listed in the actual contract that would have protected my belongings and expedited packing the truck), the damage to my belongings, and the further cost I incurred as a direct result of them not being able to do the job in the time quoted. If I was still in Salt Lake I'd go to court without any hesitation after the awful experience I had with Whipsmart.... But I'm not. Gas alone round trip is $200 just to file, plus hotel, plus having to do the trip again for the day in court, and the time out of my schedule all of this would take. I did talk to a lawyer and was advised likely a court would just "Split the baby" on a situation like this and at that point is it even worth it to incur further cost. Though Yeecii replied here about "Service" and how customers matter.... let me be clear... nothing happened. He has always had the ability to at the very (Very) least credit me for the half hour extra he charged me for, he's always had my phone number and email. You can even email through this site. Venmo even when the case was going on offered him the ability to give a partial refund or at least respond to the case. Nothing other has been done on his end other than that weird disjointed call he made after I initially posted the original review where he asked me to remove it.
