Mount Timpanogas at sunset from our RV

Mountain Valley RV Resort is one of the nicest RV resorts in the country. The grounds are impeccable and the views are spectacular! They have some fur everyone, from a family -friendly section with its own pool, hot tubs and playground, to a 21 and over section for us empty nesters with its own facilities too! Staff are friendly, professional and knowledgeable. A must stay!!

The space behind our space was wonderful.

This place is spectacular! Clean, safe, great amenities, amazing view, close but not too close to town. The staff was fantastic when checking in too.

Our family stayed here for a week after spending the past 5 months living and working in Yellowstone National Park. We usually opt for state parks, but were excited to enjoy the amenities...heated pool and spa with a toasty fire pit to enjoy at night, clean personal bathrooms and showers, and clean, albeit pricey laundry facilities. We were in a gravel back in site with FHU, featuring 30A electrical service. The spaces could be larger, but we've seen smaller in our travels. They offer daily trash pick up from your site, and also fill propane tanks on site. This is a very family friendly RV resort. If a quieter, kid free experience is more your thing, they have a large section of the resort reserved for 21+ only. There are also several enclosed dog runs to let your pooches stretch their legs.

Razors are available for rent- rent them at the office. Playgrounds for kids on the family side.

We were attempting to drive all the way to Las Vegas from Montana and decided it couldn't be done without falling asleep at the wheel and crashing. I found this rv park through Yelp, and saw the great reviews and decided to give them a call. We were able to score a same day reservation and arrived a couple of hours later. We loved the place so much we decided to extend our stay by one more day! The questions they ask before securing your reservation is, how many feet is your rig? How many slide outs? Back in or pull thru? What year is your rig? I believe it has to be year 2000 and up. How many people and how many dogs? And if we are military or have Good Sam's. To give you an idea, our rig is 29' (w/o the hitch), dual slide outs on both driver and passenger side, 2020 model, two adults, and two dogs (Shibas- an accepted breed at every park), and we opted for pull thru. We also requested to stay on the adult side which is for adults traveling with no children and over the age of 21. This side has its own pool and jacuzzi, fire pits area, pickle ball courts, clubhouse (pool tables and community room, small fitness room), laundry room ($1.50 per load, change machine dispenser inside if you need quarters, separate washer and dryer for pet bedding items, NO bedding is allowed to be washed, probably because the machines are not big enough to accommodate large comforters and blankets). The restrooms have individual and private rooms that includes a shower, toilet, sink with paper towels and soap dispensers. They were super clean!! Just be careful because it does have a window and some left it opened and you can see through it if someone was to peek in. This park has the largest and nicest fenced dog park we've seen yet! Our dogs loved it!! I actually have never seen them so excited to have so much room to run and play. It was all grass and easy in their paws so they were dashing and running at high speeds. I think it is their favorite dog run out of all the rv parks we have stayed at. This place is immaculately clean, well maintained, leveled sites with a picnic bench and full hook ups. We will definitely stop here again in the future. They also rent Razors here that are street legal. You can rent them here and drive them to your trail and back to the park again. A lot of people take them to to atv trails and it is a very popular recreation to do out this way. Complimentary WiFi is included for surfing the web, emails and basic options. If you want to stream shows and movies, they have an option to upgrade to more band width. Trash and recyclables are to be left curbside before 10 AM, and they pick it up for you! What service! If you don't make it before that time, they do have designated areas you can drop your trash off at. Last thing, we checked in after hours, and there's a number you call. Then a friendly guy comes in his golf cart and escorts you to your site, and is available for any questions before he takes off. The stars here at night are incredible!

Since this is our first RV Trip we don't have much to use as a gage. But when you see nice it doesn't matter. This place is very nice, very well equipped and very a great layout. Excellent facilities. All concrete pads, beautiful landscaping between each pad. Are adult only area with heated pool and hot tub, pool table, massage room where you can book massages. Pickle ball courts. Great place with beautiful scenery. Wi-Fi not good, could not get the cable to work. This is a very popular place so book in advance

We booked this CG on short notice (less than a week and stayed 6 days) and we were able to get in to a nice sized Pull Through! The CG is "gated" and therefore a code must be put in to access the CG. Even without the gate, the area and small town around Mountain Valley looked to be VERY safe. Approx 30 minutes from Provo and about 15-20 minutes from Park City, we were able to explore quite a bit. Views of the surrounding mountains were beautiful, although, whoever designed the park, put all the hookups on the wrong side, forcing most spots NOT to have great views (the great views are on the driver/hookup side of a 5th wheel). Not really a knock on the park overall, just would have been nice to see the nice snow capped mountains as opposed to the shorter/uglier foothills! Bathrooms and Showers were incredibly clean! Water pressure was out of this world awesome! Gym was small but had the basics, including a camper owned Peloton that could be used by guests. Staff was friendly, and packages could be picked up from the front office. Quite a few kids in early May, and there are a tone of amenities for kids if you bring them! My only negative on cleanliness was the pool area. I grabbed the pool strainer myself a couple times to clean out all the bugs and debris in the spa. Never saw someone cleaning the pool/spa so it must have only been done early/late. I'd recommend staff or someone come by every couple of hours to clean out. We stayed here in early May 2022

This was our first RV trip in our new 16 footer toy hauler. We originally got a small spot in the front (F1) but I upgraded to the huge back lot (S41) where only 21+ were allowed. So worth it. Very quiet. And at night, you can enjoy the stars since there is limited light from the few lightposts that are at the ends of the road. Adult only area for RVs, which we loved but even better was the HUGE dog run. Our dogs were in heaven! it would be even better if they had a nice dog washing station. But I'm happy with the super large, clean dog run. We were blown away by the service and amenities. We had a helpful boy show us where our spot was. He even ran to get an adapter for our 30 amp hook up for the 50 amp. We were campin' with the big boys! At night there are fire pits lit as soon as the sun goes down. Clean, air conditioned bathrooms (wish there was a place for my soap and shampoo to sit on. Grass was very well maintained and I feel very safe here. This place is the upper echelon of RV parks!

I first heard about Knotty Pine RV Resort on social media-someone had posted about the beautiful…read morescenery and the plethora of activities to do, but what hooked me were the pictures of the tiny house (cottage) available to rent. I'm a sucker for tiny houses, in fact I dream to live in one someday, so I was looking forward to my stay here. We do a decent amount of "camping" in our trailer, but this weekend, it was the tiny house that called to me. I was absolutely shocked that I was able to reserve it last minute for Friday through Sunday. We arrived after the registration office was closed, but found our information in a box by the front door. The cottage was far better than the pictures on the resort's website-it has a main bedroom with a queen bed and four single beds up in the loft. There's also a small couch in the living area. You could fit six people in here easily. Note that the loft is only about five feet tall, so most people won't be able to stand upright. But it's a kid's paradise! The kitchen is stocked with basic dishes and utensils plus full oven, stove and refrigerator. The bathroom has simple shampoo/conditioner/soap. The quality is pretty low, so if you want nicer stuff, bring your own from home. There is a TV in the living area, but not in the bedroom or loft. There is a picnic table and fire pit outside, so you can get a taste of the camping experience while still enjoying the luxury of a "home." The campground itself is very pretty-lots of beautiful trees and a tranquil river that runs nearby. There is a clubhouse with pool table, arcade game and several seating areas to socialize. They have activities occasionally, mostly geared toward the littles. The layout of the campground is slightly disjointed, and the further toward the back you go, the less it's maintained. There were some spots that appeared to be storage areas rather than camping spots, but they were dispersed between the others. Since we did not pull our RV, I can't talk to how hard it was to navigate, but there are back-in as well as pull-through spots available. The pool and hot tub were always hopping-people seemed to enjoy those. They advertise having wi-fi, but it's terrible. Some people may not care about that, since you're going camping in the mountains. But if you're online reading reviews, I reckon you might want at least a little internet connectivity. It's there, but it's pretty slow. And the cellular data (I have T-Mobile) is nonexistent. It's a beautiful place, and once I get over my with drawl from being online, I'll find myself extremely relaxed and one with nature.

Had an amazing weekend. Staff was so incredibly friendly and helpful.. Pool was a definite plus…read more. Will Definitely be going Back.

It has a feel to it that newer campgrounds don't always have-nostalgia, mature landscaping and a hint of down home hospitality. I believe this is a family run park. Check in was fairly simple and we were given a map and information sheet on the park. The sites are close together, but they have you pull in alternating directions, so you can give yourself a little more room on your door side. The sites have grassy areas, trees and gravel to park on. They are well maintained and they ask you not to park or put rugs down on the grass. There are also no fires allowed at the RV sites. We did not experience any noise issues beyond a few planes flying in to the nearby airport and lots of nature sounds around us. There are plenty of birds that call these trees home, along with a pasture of cows nearby that sang us songs in the morning (I think they were being herded or fed-either way, they had something to say about it.) There are bathrooms, showers and laundry facilities onsite. We used the showers and they were very clean and well maintained. The Provo River winds around the perimeter of the park. I didn't know that originally, but found out when I went for a walk and discovered a nice path and water. It's very pretty! There is wifi available-we had no trouble with it. There's also a nice dog run and a seasonal pool. We did not use either of them, but made note for future visits. This is a campground we will definitely return to!

WARNING: DO NOT STAY HERE. Absolute Slum Conditions & Toxic Management. If I could give Lakeside…read moreHaven RV Resort negative stars, I would. Do not be fooled by the beautiful pictures they post online--those are from years ago when the park first opened. Today, this place is a neglected, hazardous dump run by a toxic, completely unprofessional management team. We moved in on December 27th, renting a lot and an 18-foot camper for $750/month. We were assured it was "move-in ready." That was a blatant lie. On our first day, I opened the fridge/freezer combo, and hundreds of German cockroaches fell out of it like Niagara Falls. It required three separate bug bombs just to make the place semi-livable. On top of that, Mario, the manager, left a whole turkey in the freezer that thawed out and leaked putrid turkey juices all over the appliance. There was also absolutely no hot water because the water heater had a massive crack in it. It leaked so severely that it saturated the floor, causing the kitchen floor to visibly sag. When they finally came to "fix" the water heater, they smashed a massive hole in the side of the camper and just left it wide open. Because of their negligence, my cat escaped, and my girlfriend and I spent three agonizing days waiting for him to return. Thankfully, he did. The windows were also broken and just covered with cardboard and tape, and the sink was completely backed up because the previous tenant had dumped a hoard of pennies down the drain. When I confronted the manager, Mario, about these biohazards and structural failures, he didn't offer to fix them immediately. Instead, he coldly offered a refund. He knew exactly what he was doing--he put us in a position where we either had to live in a roach-infested, broken camper or be homeless. We had to stay and watch them take their sweet time doing bare-minimum repairs. When anyone has a legitimate issue with the park, Mario gets incredibly rude, nasty, and aggressive. If you express how unhappy you are with the conditions, management's official response is literally: "Don't like it? Move." Management is rarely even on-site--maybe once or twice a month--but they sure know how to cause drama. They constantly spread lies around the park claiming we weren't paying our bills, which is defamation. We have every single receipt proving we have paid on time, every single month. Furthermore, the utility situation is a massive rip-off. There is only one meter for the entire park. Management leaves the lights on and the AC blasting at 68 degrees constantly in common areas, and because of the single meter, the tenants are forced to split the bill for their energy waste. You are also paying out of pocket for "amenities" like a laundry room that should be covered. The park looks like absolute shit. The boat dock is in such disrepair it will literally ruin your boat if you try to use it. Worse than the infrastructure is the total lack of safety. They will let anyone move in here, including active drug users and people with violent, dangerous criminal records. To give you an idea of how dangerous this place is, I accidentally butt-dialed the police once. When the cop arrived, he literally told me that they get so many emergency calls for this park--ranging from domestic abuse to drug issues--that they are forced to come out and physically verify everyone is okay, even for a confirmed accidental dial. The police are fully aware of how awful this place is. There is also zero confidentiality. Management acts friendly to get your money, but once you are locked in, they treat you like garbage and spread your personal business. They literally told brand-new tenants intimate, private medical details about a resident living here with cancer. It is deeply disrespectful, unethical, and disgusting behavior. They trap you, lie about you, neglect the property, and treat you like absolute shit. For the love of God, stay the hell away from Lakeside Haven RV Resort and Mario.
