Our family stayed here for a week after spending the past 5 months living and working in Yellowstone National Park. We usually opt for state parks, but were excited to enjoy the amenities...heated pool and spa with a toasty fire pit to enjoy at night, clean personal bathrooms and showers, and clean, albeit pricey laundry facilities. We were in a gravel back in site with FHU, featuring 30A electrical service. The spaces could be larger, but we've seen smaller in our travels. They offer daily trash pick up from your site, and also fill propane tanks on site. This is a very family friendly RV resort. If a quieter, kid free experience is more your thing, they have a large section of the resort reserved for 21+ only. There are also several enclosed dog runs to let your pooches stretch their legs. read more

We were attempting to drive all the way to Las Vegas from Montana and decided it couldn't be done without falling asleep at the wheel and crashing. I found this rv park through Yelp, and saw the great reviews and decided to give them a call. We were able to score a same day reservation and arrived a couple of hours later. We loved the place so much we decided to extend our stay by one more day! The questions they ask before securing your reservation is, how many feet is your rig? How many slide outs? Back in or pull thru? What year is your rig? I believe it has to be year 2000 and up. How many people and how many dogs? And if we are military or have Good Sam's. To give you an idea, our rig is 29' (w/o the hitch), dual slide outs on both driver and passenger side, 2020 model, two adults, and two dogs (Shibas- an accepted breed at every park), and we opted for pull thru. We also requested to stay on the adult side which is for adults traveling with no children and over the age of 21. This side has its own pool and jacuzzi, fire pits area, pickle ball courts, clubhouse (pool tables and community room, small fitness room), laundry room ($1.50 per load, change machine dispenser inside if you need quarters, separate washer and dryer for pet bedding items, NO bedding is allowed to be washed, probably because the machines are not big enough to accommodate large comforters and blankets). The restrooms have individual and private rooms that includes a shower, toilet, sink with paper towels and soap dispensers. They were super clean!! Just be careful because it does have a window and some left it opened and you can see through it if someone was to peek in. This park has the largest and nicest fenced dog park we've seen yet! Our dogs loved it!! I actually have never seen them so excited to have so much room to run and play. It was all grass and easy in their paws so they were dashing and running at high speeds. I think it is their favorite dog run out of all the rv parks we have stayed at. This place is immaculately clean, well maintained, leveled sites with a picnic bench and full hook ups. We will definitely stop here again in the future. They also rent Razors here that are street legal. You can rent them here and drive them to your trail and back to the park again. A lot of people take them to to atv trails and it is a very popular recreation to do out this way. Complimentary WiFi is included for surfing the web, emails and basic options. If you want to stream shows and movies, they have an option to upgrade to more band width. Trash and recyclables are to be left curbside before 10 AM, and they pick it up for you! What service! If you don't make it before that time, they do have designated areas you can drop your trash off at. Last thing, we checked in after hours, and there's a number you call. Then a friendly guy comes in his golf cart and escorts you to your site, and is available for any questions before he takes off. The stars here at night are incredible! read more

Very clean and large RV park. Gated access and lots of amenities. - $200 pet deposit fee (have never had to pay that), and they told me they have very strict pet rules (there are lots of dogs off leash and staff driving around not doing anything) - Can't put blankets in washer, well since I wash my sheets once a week I basically can't use their washer and dryers. Why would I leave to go to a laundrymat to wash my sheets and come back here to wash my clothes. - I am 38 years old traveling alone with my dog and I was put into the family section. I was not given an option, if I had been presented with an option I would have chosen the "adult" section. I work full time during the day on conference calls and I have to battle kids yelling and screaming all day long. - people drive through here going 15+ mph. Nearly every park I've been to has a strict 5mph speed limit. Not here - I was also for some reason put into an area for people that are only staying an average of 2-4 days, so I average 2 new neighbors a week. its really frustrating and so far 50% of them keep parking in my parking spot, I have complained twice and it keeps happening. - The spaces are really close together! compared to others I have stayed at. I was at one last month that was half the price with twice the size lots. - It seems like unless you have a 6 figure 5th wheel or 7 figure motor coach you don't get access to the adult section which is also much quieter and less traffic. like I said its nice and clean and they have a few fancy pools and hot tubs, pickelball court, bball court and clubhouse, but its just been an extremely frustrating stay here. I don't think I'll be back next year. I'll find somewhere cheaper with less frustrations. read more

Since this is our first RV Trip we don't have much to use as a gage. But when you see nice it doesn't matter. This place is very nice, very well equipped and very a great layout. Excellent facilities. All concrete pads, beautiful landscaping between each pad. Are adult only area with heated pool and hot tub, pool table, massage room where you can book massages. We booked this CG on short notice (less than a week and stayed 6 days) and we were able to get in to a nice sized Pull Through! The CG is "gated" and therefore a code must be put in to access the CG. Even without the gate, the area and small town around Mountain Valley looked to be VERY safe. Approx 30 minutes from Provo and about 15-20 minutes from Park City, we were able to explore quite a bit. Views of the surrounding mountains were beautiful, although, whoever designed the park, put all the hookups on the wrong side, forcing most spots NOT to have great views (the great views are on the driver/hookup side of a 5th wheel). Not really a knock on the park overall, just would have been nice to see the nice snow capped mountains as opposed to the shorter/uglier foothills! Bathrooms and Showers were incredibly clean! Water pressure was out of this world awesome! Gym was small but had the basics, including a camper owned Peloton that could be used by guests. Staff was friendly, and packages could be picked up from the front office. Quite a few kids in early May, and there are a tone of amenities for kids if you bring them! My only negative on cleanliness was the pool area. I grabbed the pool strainer myself a couple times to clean out all the bugs and debris in the spa. Never saw someone cleaning the pool/spa so it must have only been done early/late. I'd recommend staff or someone come by every couple of hours to clean out. Found this gem and was not disappointed at all. Love the choice between adult area and family area especially when it comes to hot tun and pool. We came in late and the vending machines were not working- one of the employees was playing poker and saw my sadness and opened the office so i could buy water. So very sweet of her. This was our first RV trip in our new 16 footer toy hauler. We originally got a small spot in the front (F1) but I upgraded to the huge back lot (S41) where only 21+ were allowed. So worth it. Very quiet. And at night, you can enjoy the stars since there is limited light from the few lightposts that are at the ends of the road. Adult only area for RVs, which we loved but even better was the HUGE dog run. Our dogs were in heaven! it would be even better if they had a nice dog washing station. But I'm happy with the super large, clean dog run. We were blown away by the service and amenities. We had a helpful boy show us where our spot was. He even ran to get an adapter for our 30 amp hook up for the 50 amp. We were campin' with the big boys! At night there are fire pits lit as soon as the sun goes down. Clean, air conditioned bathrooms (wish there was a place for my soap and shampoo to sit on. Grass was very well maintained and I feel very safe here. This place is the upper echelon of RV parks! read more

The bathrooms are individual with toilet and shower and nice tile. The only rec I have is a rubber mat in front of the shower. read more

Mountain Valley RV Resort offers a typical RV park experience with a few perks. There is a movie night on Friday offering Disney movies. We found this activity quite enjoyable. The park is visited by food trucks and we noted two. One truck was offering upscale pizza and the other hot dogs, nachos etc. I really thought this was clever dining option for those of us wanting a break from cooking. There is an adult side and a family side of the park. We stayed in the family section and our grandsons did not lack for something to do. Lots of kids riding bikes and playing at the park and in the pool. There are basketball and volleyball courts and grassy areas to play bocci ball and other similar sports. We will most likely revisit this RV Park when we return to this area. And we will return to tryout some of the outdoor activities and there are a few options that are close by; zip lining, water recreation, a historic train depot, hiking and cycling are among some of the activities. read more

Third time staying here. Must really like it! Did not stay in the adult area this time due to no choice. Sites in this area are much closer, but then RV people are very friendly. All sites seemed to fill up every afternoon. One issue noticed, especially with all the children around, cars that inadvertently came down our quiet area had to back up all the way to get out, not so safe with small children running around. A Do Not Enter sign would fix that, or big arrow painted on the asphalt. read more

I can't imagine anything to gripe about here. We have stayed at many RV parks and this place is definite at the top of the list and is all that it is advertised. If you are a family your kids have ample place to play and activities to partake in. Due to a change in plans we stayed in both the family side and the adults only side. Loved both sides. The layout of this place has every spot within close proximity to pools, showers, laundry. Wonderful dog run. One person noted dogs off leash everywhere....in the 5 days I never saw one dog off leash. They even have a set of washer and dryers set aside for only dog bedding. I saw this on the adult side - did not do laundry on the family side so I don't know. How awesome is that?!!! Pools and hot tubs are excellently maintained. I could gush for paragraphs more but won't bore you. Nice workout room and I noticed that there was a clubhouse with a kitchen you could use. All the staff we encountered were happy and seemed to like being there. Good location as well. read more

This is a really nice RV park. We needed a place to stay on our way from Grand Teton NP to the NP's in Utah. We wanted to avoid the Salt Lake City traffic and discovered a way around it through Park City/Heber City. We really liked this place and were disappointed it was only one night. But we made the best of it and enjoyed the amenities and pool. It was a little cold for the time of year we were there and we had the pool area to ourselves. The staff were top notch. I needed one of my large propane tanks filled. I asked one of the employees driving by about it. He told me to leave it in front of my rig and he would fill it for me. He was back before I knew it and the cost was added to my bill. They didn't gouge me for the cost of the propane. We will stay there again. read more

The problem with this RV park is that it ruins you for all other Rv parks forever. It is spotless, organized, and flawlessly run. The bathrooms are immaculate with plenty of hot water and good water pressure. There is actual trash pick up at your sites. The pool is sparkling and there are family activities all throughout the park. It is so amazing that we actually wound up hightailing it back here for the last two nights of our trip after finding another park in a nearby town basically unliveable. (I promise we aren't snobs....it was bad). Preston, who seems to be the mayor of the park, is unfailingly kind and helpful. He assisted us with everything from booking the extra two nights to arranging rides into town and tips on where to eat, shop, and sightsee. It does not get better than this. read more

We can't say enough good things about this RV Resort. The employees are the nicest people. Everyone is smiling and friendly. They went above and beyond to accommodate us when we had to have a mechanic come out to replace the house batteries on our coach. The park has concrete roads with beautiful grassy areas. They have a family section and an all adult section. As well as, a family pool and Pickleball Courts and all adult pool and Pickleball courts. The park is spotless. There's a lot to like about this park, but seems maintenance dropping the ball on a number of items. The grounds are super clean, and mostly very well manicured - except site we were in. All of our grass was dead/yellow, but rest of the park was nice and green. Check in went well, parking a bit tight though. The sites aren't very big, about 15' to the next rig. All concrete pads with paved streets though. Pool was super busy every day, seems too small for a park of this size. Overall had a nice stay until the last day, when they turned the sprinklers on to our site and forgot about them, ran for over 2hrs. We had toys, games and a power wheel in the grass that got soaked, not to mention water spraying my RV 6' up. I had to go to the office to tell them to turn it off, which they sent Mark. This guy is a real jerk. Came by with attitude, when I started to ask why they turned it on with all of stuff in the grass his response was "it'll dry" and sped off in his cart. Walked back to the office to make a comment about Mark, was told "Cash - the manager" was out but would call me. 2 days later, still no call.... Other items to note, only 2 of 6 washing machines were functional, both vending machines were out of order, we never saw the bathrooms by the pool cleaned. For a premium type park, they can do better. read more

Mountain Valley RV Resort thinks they are high class by only allowing certain RV's visit their campground. They asked what type of camper we had and what year. They apparently do not understand that older Mini-Winnie's have a large following and are hard to find. They asked for a photo, which we sent. They looked at it and then said they needed a photo of all 4 sides of the camper. They told us that "they do not want old, caved in and smashed campers in their facility that look like trash and junk." They stated that they do not want campers older than 2000 in their camp ground. Even showing a photo of a collector RV in excellent shape, they wanted more and said they would get back to us about staying with them. However they did take our money. We will see if it gets refunded. Guess this will not get 5 stars from me. Even if they let us stay, we will never stay at this campground. Jim S read more

We stayed just one night in one of the cabins. First the good. Staff was very friendly. Check in was super easy. Available recreation was very nice. Close proximity to what we wanted to do. Cabin had A/C temperature was well regulated. Also very well insulated didn't hear any noise from outside. Now the not so good. Yes we were aware that we had to bring our own bedding, & pillows. However the bed itself was horrible. Couldn't get out of bed without waking my husband. It was just overall not comfortable. We were also aware that it was ab"dry" cabin. However the distance to the shower and bathrooms was a bit much. Just having a toilet and sink would have made a huge difference. Having the toilet and shower facilities in a closer proximity to the cabins may have even been an acceptable alternative. Placing the facilities right next to RV's that all have toilets and showers seemed like a waist. My husband and I both agree we won't be back and we will never stay in a "dry cabin" again. read more
