I can't comment on the food but the Moab Amber is as cold as it gets! On the last day of our trip, due to mass confusion, I left an Osprey backpack, full of gear, on the back of my patio chair. When they opened the next morning I approached Julie, fully expecting to hear that the bag had not been found. To my surprise, she pulled the bag from beneath the counter and said, "the owner picked it up last night." Love this place and Jimi and Julie are so personable and really care about their food and customers. It's at the base of Park City Mountain resort. So when you come off the slopes, you can enjoy a delicious meal there for less than the ski resort lodge cafeteria. Their huevos rancheros and chili are all homemade, all sauces are made in house, and the burgers rock also. Their fries are delicately crispy on the outside but soft on the inside - just the way a good dry should be! The best part of Mojos is the people. The owner Jimi takes pride in the food and serving his customers. He'll remember you months later! Year after year we come back here. The burgers are juicier and half the price of the burgers with fries at the ski resort lodges. The tacos are amazing and the fajitas tortilla is like a freshly made one. Could not be more rude. They're out of everything. We bought food, beer, ice cream, and the raunchy chick at the counter reprimanded us for getting ice in our water cup. TWICE! This place is so delicious- love it especially for a quick bite before hitting the slopes (ok, not me per se, but watching others do it is cool) We sat outside and waited for the Alpine Slide to open back up after a moose decided to take a nap on the tracks. Yes, that really did happen. Everything here was super delicious and the manager (maybe owner, I'm not sure) was really nice. They were setting up for a guy to play guitar and sing and since we were closest, he kept asking "how's that volume?" And "Is that okay?" Absolutely nasty owner/manager. Recommend avoiding giving him your business. We did not realize the chairs and table were part of his business so we sat down on the porch with takeout from another restaurant for our kids (a pizza for one and chicken fingers for the other) but got several beers at Mojo's and snacks for the adults. Instead of explaining to us we were in his restaurant and that he did not allow outside food he crouched down and put his face 6 inches from mine and my friends and said loudly "do you think I don't want to make money here? Huh? Do you!?" We were so stunned by the rudeness we didn't even get a chance to respond before he turned and walked away. It was humiliating. Our 4 year old was also very alarmed by his behavior. One star is a grossly generous. I ordered a philly cheese steak that took way too long to make. It honestly doesn't take that long to open a can of dog food and pour nacho cheese on it. Given a choice I'd rather have them serve me shit. Here's how you actually make a cheese steak. 1. Use a flat top to cook up some actual human grade steak. 2. Add peppers and provolone cheese on top. 3. Transfer food onto a bun that isn't drier than the fucking desert. Also keep the nacho cheese on the nachos k? I watched a woman struggle to throw away a beer and the half-heartedly "wipe" the drips from the ledge with a paper napkin. Turns out she works at Mojo's. Then she brought me my food. No star would better describe my experience! We bought a beer, a coffee and a chocolate bar, and sat at a greasy table. After eating my chocolate bar, I realized it was 10 months expired!! I gave the benefit of the doubt to the owner and talked to her while there was no clients around. She just said "Oh my god!" and ran to the kitchen. I went back to my table waiting for her to come back with a GOOD explanation as to why on earth was I able to buy a product almost 1 YEAR EXPIRED. The place became crowded right after that and she went back to the cash register to take other clients orders, and I saw a few of them buying the same product I just let her know was wayyyy expired! I went back and talked to her in front of these clients and she just said "Can I help you?". After I confronted her in front of other clients she was forced to apologize before saying "Oh, but I am not in charge of ordering the product"... Are you kidding me? I don't recommend this place at all. Food is below average, overpriced and the people that work here are rude. I brought my 2 teen daughters and one of their friends and we all ended up throwing out our $40 lunch. I bought a $4 fountain soda and filled it with sprite. I put a splash of cranberry juice from the fountain as well and the lady yelled at me because I "paid for soda". Kind of silly. This restarant is absolutely terrible. The food is sub par and extremely over priced. The two ladies I spoke to were rude and one of them lied to me. I asked if the caser chicken wrap had cheese on it and the lady at the counter said yes. When the food came, 45 minutes later after I waited in line for 10, my wrap had no cheese, when I went to ask for some the lady working said we don't have any. Would leave 0 stars if that was an option... After waiting for 40 mins for our food (a salad and a hamburger), the salad was dirty and the meat significantly undercooked. The food was truly awful yet, and, if that wasn't bad enough, the service was even worse. When we showed them the dirty lettuce, they denied it (even with the glob of dirt staring them in the face). I usually don't give very bad reviews unless it's super bad. This made that list unfortunately. Came for lunch. Music was a bit too loud to talk outside. Not a huge deal but it was the worst 70's soul and funk(personally not a fan). The fish tacos were good. The veggie wrap took 5 minutes longer than the rest of the food. It also had what we estimated was about half of a stick of cream cheese. The chicken sandwich was super salty but they said the don't season the chicken? Best food in PCMR yet. The prices are relatively decent for Park City and the amount of food you get is great. A full basket of chips and a full sandwich or a basket of fries with a good sized burger. Luckily, the place is not owned by Vail and therefore the prices are decent. The ambiance is that of an old school ski barn, complete with 60th music. The order taker gave two orders (ours and someone else's) the same number - then they got upset when they got confused and gave our food to someone else (who actually took it). I had my receipt so they fixed our order - but it was obvious they were not happy. As for the food - the fries were bland, the burger was okay, but the real disappointment was the Mojo Chicken Sandwich. The ingredients sounded very promising, but the chicken was so paper thin you could barely taste it, you could not discern the presence of the Canadian bacon, and how does Cheddar cheese have no flavor? The food is also overpriced - but since it is a resort it is somewhat understanding. Unfortunately there are limited options up there - so just as long as you keep your expectations low (i.e. it will cost too much, not be very tasty, but you will get food in your stomach), then you will not be too terribly disappointed. read more
