The lemon blueberry pancakes were a seasonal option and omg sooo glad I got them! Soooo delicious and moist. The consensus amongst everyone was that the potatoes (I forgot exactly what kind of breakfast potatoes) they were sliced circles with amazing seasoning was sooooo goood! The kids breakfast were pretty large! Which is great especially if you have kids with big appetites. If you have toddlers - I suggest maybe sharing one kids meal if they don't eat much. We had the strawberry stuffed French toast and a loaded skillet dealyo. Both were recommended by our server. Maybe not the best French toast I've ever had, but still quite good. Great little brunch tucked away in Black Forest! We got there before 9am - which was the move!! - it got super busy after that. Service was fantastic and our server was so nice! We got the cinnamon roll to start. It's a must have here! It's decadent, gooey, and delicious but not overly sweet which is key. Tucked away in Black Forest you'll find the cutest cafe with breakfast choices a plenty. We arrived at 10 and the place was packed. We were quoted a 30 minute wait and the quote was pretty spot on. Once seated, the service was friendly and not rushed. I was worried since the place was so busy, but you're made to feel welcomed and to enjoy at your own pace. The food was amazing. This place was some of the best breakfast I have had in the Springs area! We got there right at 7 and it stated filling up at 7:30am. This place is pretty big with a bar seating area, main room and two rooms off each side as well as an outdoor patio for summer. The options for food are endless, they are gluten free friendly as well which is huge. The French toast and country fried steak with the potatoes are delicious. Our server was Tiffany and she was very energetic, attentive, and provided excellent service to our table. 10/10 would recommend for breakfast, haven't had the chance to try lunch but I bet that's pretty good too!! read more

After reading reviews online, I ordered the avocado toast, which is no ordinary avocado toast. The melding of flavors was so fabulous that I wanted to end my breakfast with a bite, but I also had a short stick of pancakes, and they were so delicious that I also wanted to end with a bite of that sweetness. I added bacon to the avocado toast, and it was perfect. Originally, I ordered the jalapeños on the side, but I ended up using all but a few. Came in on a Sunday morning before the rush (7:30am) and the restaurant was ready for customers and orders! I felt very cozy inside and the staff greeted us as we walked into the establishment. There is a variety of food choices from breakfast to lunch but at the moment I was feeling like breakfast food. I ordered the biscuits and gravy which was phenomenal and seasoned to perfection. The biscuits were definitely made from scratch and ever so soft and succulent! The sausage gravy mixed very well with the biscuits and did not overpower the taste. Service was outstanding even as it started to get packed around 7:45 - 8:00 AM! All staff were very attentive to all tables and assisted the waitresses. My glass of water and Diet Coke was never empty or even close to it while we were there. I would definitely recommend coming and dining in this fine establishment but just make sure you come early as this place gets packed quick! read more

It's a quaint restaurant with four dining areas: the main floor, the back area, which you can access via indoor ramp or short stairs, a bar-top area, and outdoor dining. Staff were friendly and kept the mugs flowing with hot coffee. The food came out fresh and fairly quickly. There were a good steady amount of customers who came in to dine on a Tuesday morning. The side of pork green chili was refreshing and not too spicy; a great add on to top your eggs. The chicken cordon bleu egg skillet was delicious. Great choice for those who want a protein packed breakfast. They Chicken was grilled. Eggs over medium were cooked to perfection. The hollandaise sauce wasn't too overpowering. I substituted the Swiss cheese for cheddar. Hashbrowns were light and crispy. The strawberry French toast was light and fluffy. The strawberries were fresh and the strawberry drizzle was not too sweet. Added sides of a delicious piece of ham and scrambled eggs for $4 complimented this entree. Green Chilaquiles with fried eggs and avocado slices. Nice flavor profile overall, however, the chips absorbed the green chili sauce, the chilaquiles were more on the soggy side (from a texture standpoint). I'm not sure I'd order this again. It needed a side of fresh pico de gallo to go along with it, and not side of "jarred" pace salsa. The sour cream could have been a little more than the small dollop it came with. A few extras: They offer a military discount. They have an ample Outdoor dining area; and on a beautiful, warm, sunny Colorado day, it would be amiss not to sit Al fresco. I have eaten here several times and there isn't a better place around that has good food, friendly and accommodating service, and a place where I don't feel guilty bringing my toddler. Sure, it's a little loud, but it's a mixed crowd. Plenty of seating zones. I've had the breakfast quesadillas, a biscuit and gravy seasonal meal, a veggie omelet (sorry I can't recall the name) and no matter what I order, it's great. This place has amazing staff and no matter how busy it gets (the most I've ever had to wait was 30 mins on Father's Day), they seem to keep up pretty well. read more

First time trying this restaurant and here is my review. My wife called ahead about 20 min to get on the wait list. She told the young lady on the phone it was gonna be for 2 adults and a baby in a stroller so 3 all together. We arrived shortly after and walked in with my son in his stroller and checked in. They said there was still a wait so they took our number and we waited outside. About 30 min later we got a text saying our table was ready. When we went back in to be seated the young lady at the front looked confused when we told her the name for our party and went over to talk to another older lady there. Both came over and the older lady with an attitude says " Next time you need to make a reservation for 3." My wife responded with we did over the phone and came inside to check in way before our table was ready. We understand that they were busy and mistakes are made but the attitude and the gossiping to all the other staff about us made our experience very uncomfortable. But we still stayed and enjoyed some good food and coffee. Most of the staff were very kind, and the food came out super quick with little wait time after we were sat. Hopefully our experience will be better next time if we decide to try it out again. read more

I can't believe I haven't reviewed this place yet--I've been here multiple times already and it is our go-to spot whenever we want a good breakfast or when friends/family are in town. There's amply parking, but it can get pretty crowded quickly on the weekends, especially during the breakfast/brunch hours. If you get there around 7:30/8am, you'll get the older crowd that's up at 'em early! The food is always delicious and with good portions. They offer gluten free toast and gluten free french toast too. I usually get the Earth Skillet which is super tasty, well seasoned, and well-balanced with veggies, starches, and meat. This time I got an omelet with ham, sausage, and cheese. It came with an english muffin and hash browns--all so yummy! My boyfriend ordered the egg benedict and said it was really good as well. If you order coffee, they come around and refill your cup often. The wait staff are very attentive! I ordered a side of gluten-free french toast which was a bit dry, but honestly, I'm not very surprised because 1) gluten free bread is inherently a little more crumby and 2) to make good french toast requires time to soak the bread for a while. Regardless, it was topped with berries and when drenched in maple syrup, it was decent. We came here another time for lunch and I really enjoyed their salad too.
