Best breakfast I've had in Colorado Springs. Everything is great!!!! Service is great!!! Staff is wonderful.

We ordered delivery through Grubhub, and I took issue with a missing breakfast. While this was likely a Grubhub issue, the manager Brad gave me a personal call to make sure all my concerns were addressed. I read the voicemail and was impressed with his professionalism and concern. I would definitely recommend this resteraunt; sometimes the best judge of quality service isn't when things go right, but rather by when things go wrong and how they are handled. Hats off to Brad. One of my favorite breakfast restaurants in town! I love that they have healthy options but also have plenty of other options if you would like to indulge. Their drinks are super good (boozy or not) although I normally enjoy a Bloody Mary when I'm there. I usually get the avocado toast when I'm trying to be "healthy" but have also had the breakfast burrito in the past. So card I haven't had anything I didn't like! I have been to Urban Egg many times and have always enjoyed it. Today was an exception. I ordered an omelette. They left out the bacon. They said they would remake it for me. I finally had to stop someone that was not even our waitress to check on the status of my omelette, because it had been 10-15 minutes and I still had not received it. By the time it arrived, I was full from eating the toast and sausage while waiting. My husband had completely finished his meal. They did not offer anything in the way of compensation. We barely got an apology. We also had to chase down the waitress to give us our bill. Not a good experience at all. read more

Great breakfast/brunch spot. I've never gone and there hasn't been a wait but it the wait is always worth it. I love their breakfast options and the coffee options are always good too. We've always had a great service. There's outdoor seating here too if you want enjoy your eats outside. This time we ordered the tamale eggs Benedict, the Tuscan eggs Benedict and the Biscuits and gravy. I also had the cold brew with chai foam. Stopped by Urban Egg on the way home and was thoroughly impressed. Had the corned beef hash and shared the gourmet pancake flight, which allows you to try 3 single specialty pancakes of your choice. I also tried the steak and eggs which has a unique twist. The menu is very unique and the food was great. The eggs they use are high quality, very orange yolks. Service was great and our server was very friendly / accommodating. Atmosphere is peaceful and clean. Would highly recommend. read more

Arrived at 8:20 waited like 10min for a table and we're seated by a kind young gentleman and our waitress arrived to take drink orders immediately. I ordered a coffee immediately & a melon/cucumber/pineapple mint juice. I did not like it but the coffee was delicious. My mom & husband had OJ. We all ordered Omelets we had Denver hubby had one that came with gravy. They were good just a bit bland but nothing a little salt didn't fix. One of the best spots for breakfast in the Springs. The Denver hot chicken is my go to and absolutely delicious. The service is always fast and servers are kind. Parking has never been a problem. There can be a wait on certain days because it is popular but during the weekday it's generally not a problem. The atmosphere is casual and not formal. read more

Mother's Day - restaurant was packed. People hanging around waiting for takeout orders. Orders were not ready on time. Managers were apologizing. When we finally got order and went home, one of the items we paid for was not in the bag. Restaurant floor by the bar area and take out shelves was sticky. Service is wonderful, ambiance nice but oh so so busy, food...I had the Greek omelette and it was the best omelette I've ever had...ever!! I ordered fruit instead of potatoes ( typically comes with it), along with sour dough bread (fantastic). I had a Bloody Mary (outstanding but $10)...my bill was over 30. I believe the omelette was $17 and an up charge for fruit was $3. The only complaint I have is the prices seem to be a bit high, but the quality is exceptional and the portion size was generous. She was absolutely 100 % on point friendly, efficient & professional, very sweet demeanor . We very much enjoyed the service & food . My husband & I split the Protein bowl w/ extra eggs b/c my husband loves his eggs so I had to get my own , Paloma X2 , Hot Chocolate Mocha . There was more than enough to split , protein bowl was perfect amount . I usually take pictures but I think it was b/c we were on a time restraint & I simply forgot . We will be back . I am originally from NY. When we moved to COS 4 years ago, I began looking for great breakfast places! I was quite impressed with the food, the service and the atmosphere at Urban Egg. We frequently went there for breakfast, Yesterday we decided to go to this locale for breakfast. I was disappointed. The food was not the same. I ordered an Eggs Benedict dish and the food seemed to be reheated, I had a difficult time cutting through the English muffin and the veggies were wilted and seemed reheated. I had the Billion $$ Bacon which was so good, and then the carnitas bowl which was really filling and flavorful with the green chili. Sit at the community table if you try to make a reservation and the wait is really long - you can skip the wait and sit at the long high top table instead. read more

The breakfast was delicious and definitely the highlight. Unfortunately, the service was very unprofessional. We felt rushed from the start, were asked to leave our card without a receipt, and my plate was taken before I was even finished without being asked. Overall, great food but a disappointing experience due to the service. Hopefully manager can read this and probably tone it down a bit for some staff. The kids played looked like the cooks just threw whatever on the plate, it looked nothing like what I have previously ordered before. We haven't had a bad meal here yet and it is an upbeat and lively atmosphere to kick your day off on a great note. The food is so good and there are such a wide variety of options for everyone including delicious gluten free pancakes and other healthy options for those that want it. In our opinion, the biscuit and gravy and breakfast burrito are our faves. The service has been quick and we have had all of our food in a timely manner. Protein bowl Asked for the hash brown on the side to keep my keto going, and it was perfect. The meats were a bit salty, but if it had been mixed with the hash brown it would've been perfect. I should ask them to make my eggs without any seasoning next time. Delicious. Pancake This came as my toast option with the protein bowl... and it deserves its own line. Hands down one of the best pancakes I've had. Probably cooked on a cast iron pan, cuz it was so crispy on the outside and yet fluffy and soft on the inside. My son and I came for breakfast- I ordered breakfast tacos with corn tortillas. The tortillas came out so over pan fried they took shape of the taco holder before hitting our table and were board stiff and inedible. When I showed the waitress, after 20 minutes of our food being delivered and never checking back on us, she made a face and walked away- with not even a hint at correcting the food- such as getting fresh, warm tortillas, offering to remake the food or discounting the order... I had to inquire about a discount when she was so quick to push the check while I still was trying to eat and had a full drink on the table, to which she immediately developed an attitude, took the plates angrily and walked off. I also ordered two alcoholic beverages- which these days aren't cheap!! Incredibly disappointed and quite frankly, because of this encounter, will not dine at this location again. This is your job. I came here with my friend for her birthday breakfast and I was really impressed with the prompt service and friendly staff. Our server was amazing and gave my friend a special birthday pancake, which was so nice. This is the 3rd location I've been too and I was impressed with the beautiful space, cleanliness and delicious food. I love the juices that they have available; they have so many healthy options that are delicious and hydrating. I love the beet juice and today I tried the cure, which I loved.
