Okay, not exceptional but not bad. One thing this place definitely is; is WAY OVER PRICED! With a $10 tip our bill was $90 for breakfast and one supposed to be kids meal and two adult meals and two coffees. They ended up charging me $25 for my kids meal when the menu said $7. And for one additional egg; $5.... And those were not even pasture raised good eggs, they were cheap ass COSTCO grade bulk eggs. House coffee was terrible too.... First watch and Doug's are head over heels better and half the price. Next time we will eat at Doug's and tip $40 and still pay less than New Day Cafe. read more

Love the food. Love the service. I find their policy about closing time very unfriendly. If you dare walk in the door past 1:30pm when closing time is at 2:00pm, they will turn you away. My family and I were turned away at 1:45pm by the manager when people were actively in the restaurant eating and receiving food. We gave them another try today but watched a couple turned away at the door by the hostess at 1:36pm. If that's the case and workers want to go home as close to 2:00pm​ as possible, close at 1:30pm. Although we enjoy this restaurant, but won't be back. Just not good edicate and very unfriendly. read more

New place, must try. Open only for breakfast and lunch till 2pm. Food was very fresh, coffee was very tasty. Service was very good. It is actually larger inside than I thought from the outside. Country Benedict was very tasty. Grits, eggs and bacon my wife said was very fresh and obviously not just sitting in a warmer to be pulled out. I suggest you give it a try. Do not order the fries here. I got the tuna manhattan which was a pretty average tuna sandwich that I wouldn't get again but it didn't ruin my meal. The sourdough bread was a little disappointing and wish it had been toasted more. But the fries were the worst fries I've ever had. Not crispy, too thick and NO SALT. I wouldn't care so much had there been any salt but they just taste terrible with no salt. I really like the other location and hope next time it will be a better experience. read more

I'm giving 2 stars because one of the entrees tasted good. Two breakfast meals were ordered for take out; the breakfast panini and the french toast breakfast club sandwich. The Panini was okay, but the salsa was nothing more than a bland liquid, literally nothing in it. The hash browns were cold, not just cooled off but out of the refrigerator cold. The club sandwich tasted good but did not come with the powdered sugar or the dipping jam it was supposed to. Whoever the cook was on 2/8/26, they didn't take much pride in their work. Love this cafe tried to take our oldest son there last Saturday for lunch but it was packed and people were waiting all the way outside so we ended going to IHOP on Academy. Will have to take him during the week next time. I love their food and how friendly their waitresses are. read more

We regularly frequent the New Day on Delmonico and it's our go-to breakfast place. Best green chili in the Springs! We wanted to try New Day on Voyager to compare apples to apples. 2 stars as I hope they improve and stick around, it's nice to have local restaurants that aren't a chain. Their other location is very good, the Voyager one (near Sprouts) not so much. Staff was friendly upon entering and ordering, restaurant clean and open. I ordered a trainer omelette (egg whites, seasoned ground turkey, mushroom, feta). I eat a lot of ground turkey, so I thought I knew what to expect.. This was not just ground turkey, the taste was overwhelming and the eggs were WaY overcooked. I set my plate to the side and waited for the server to come check on us, I would have asked for something else. She didn't come back for 10 minutes, and when she did, she brought the check. Mind you, we were 1 of 4 tables. When she grabbed my plate to take it away, I asked "is this ground turkey, or a turkey patty?" And she said it's their turkey patty. (I wouldn't have gotten that as it's basically a turkey sausage patty, not what I wanted for breakfast). (It was like having yesterday's old non-served turkey patty that was going to be a turkey burger but no one ordered it broken up and thrown into my $16 omelette, if you get the picture). She asked if there was anything else she could bring me "to make me happier". I kind of laughed, as to this point the only person I'd seen face to face is my husband and I didn't even really complain, except to ask about the turkey! So, 2 stars. My husband liked his meal, it's a nice location, and looks clean. Just had poor service even though they were nice, and my food was not good. Fingers crossed someone reads this and remembers that restaurants are needing good food AND good service (AKA-checking in once food is delivered). read more

Food is low quality and server dropped a dirty utensil on our back. Then server stood in the back and never checked on us and never got us any refills. Then all they offered was to take a drink off our bill. The place was very crowded and tables were close together. Would not recommend. read more
