We contacted her for help with the relationship between our 7 yr old border collie/ cattle dog/ etc mix and our 1 1/2 chocolate lab who joined our family a few months ago. Dee's knowledge of behavior and personalities of the breeds and dogs in general was so helpful and so right on! After only a few minutes of having her in our home and observing the dogs and us she was spot on with where our challenges are. She had easy to incorporate behaviors for us to require and reinforce with our dogs to help the areas in need. The dogs will be so much happier and so will we! Her staff are energetic and caring, and ensure that pet and parent alike have had their needs met and concerns heard. Whenever I bring my dog in, he's met with an enthusiastic greeting from everyone-- receptionist, technicians, and veterinarian! Dr. Lesser will often get on the floor with Bentley, which shows me that she understands how to earn a dog's trust and get them to cooperate. The two times I've taken Bentley in for an un-well visit, staff have followed up with us the next day, either to deliver test results (all have been good!) or to check in to see how he's doing. That level of service makes NOAH stand out from other veterinarians we've seen in the past. I don't even think my own human PCP makes follow-up calls! It's also worth mentioning that the interior is beautiful and clean. It's nice to wait and be seen in a comfortable environment-- especially when you're there because your pet is unwell-- and even when they're there for a routine checkup. All in all, I highly recommend NOAH. I only hope we can find a doctor as wonderful as Dr. Lesser when we move to our next state.

We'd always left our dogs at a kennel / daycare when we've traveled. But as we've moved to a new…read morearea, and hadn't found a kennel we loved near us, we decided to try the Happy Pet Caregivers when we planned a two week vacation. We felt some apprehension about having the dogs alone overnight with only day visits for walks and feedings, and initially decided to have the pet sitter stay overnight. We met with our primary pet sitter, Allayn, and her back up / emergency coverage sitter Roxy (just the idea that they had a back up plan was reassuring). They were thorough in their questions and really made us comfortable before our trip. Then, on short notice, we had a family emergency and needed a sitter on very short notice, several weeks before our planned vacation. Allayn was able to accommodate us, and the short 3 day coverage, without a sleep-over, convinced us our pets would be fine. Allayn has a great way with dogs (even our cat, who hates everyone, warmed up to her). She's also very reliable, and is a great communicator. For our vacation, we decided that we didn't need the overnight stay - as Allayn fed, exercised, groomed and even vacuumed) and the animals were fine. One of the dogs developed a health issue just before or vacation - Allayn gave his meds, and communicated with us about his condition, keeping us from worrying too much. The price is reasonable - about the same as 2 dogs in a kennel - and the service is outstanding. And I now believe the dogs were happier in their own homes than they ever were in a kennel. I highly recommend Happy pet Caregivers, and Allayn in particular.
