I'm sad to write this review because the staff was very friendly, but in hindsight maybe they were only friendly because they knew they were screwing me over. I came in for a simple oil change last month and was told I urgently needed front and rear brakes. I agreed ONLY because they had advised me it was urgent, and unfortunately ended up paying $750 for the job (NOT including the $147 oil change) They charged $205 per set of brake pads, plus $80 for labor (front and back each) and a $135 brake fluid exchange. The problem is that my boyfriend and I looked up the brakes that were used and they retail for around $63-$72, so why I was charged $205 each? Who knows. I was obviously taken advantage of. Thankfully I have the money to be able to afford this but not everyone does and it's sad to think of all the people (women especially) who are victims of this. Where do I even start with this place. They try to up charge you like crazy and most important of all is that they lie to you on what actually needs to be done just so they can make more money. I came in requesting service on my car for one thing and shortly after someone named "Mario" comes in telling me that all this needed to be done on my car asap as well and quoted me almost $3200 for parts and labor. Respectfully, I declined the offer and ended up taking it to a mechanic that my family was close with and the items that they said were quoted were not damaged at all and my actual quote was only $1200 for all the maintenance. Edwin, the Store Manager has been very helpful and understanding. Last year, he was able to help me with the flat repair on my Jeep. Quality of job stands and still stands this year. This year, I was in for a Lube, Oil Filter and Tire Rotation or I, as a former Auto Mechanic called it, "LOFR." The auto technician was due diligent with his work on my Jeep. Few things he and Edwin did pointed out with issues with my Jeep and it was pure honesty. I can't complain with pricing and I'm looking forward to continue getting my Jeep serviced there. Had an appointment today to purchase a set of Kuhmo tires from online. After seeing an offer on the website which included installation this seemed like a good deal. Upon arrival I let the gentleman know I had an appointment for a set of Kuhmo tires. He immediately let me know that if I made appt. online or over the phone it won't reflect inventory or price in the store. He wasn't rude about it he was professional but this came as a surprise to me. I asked if they had the Kuhmo Solus TA11 available. The gentleman searched their inventory in the computer and said they're unavailable at all locations. An alternative was offered to me but was about $400 more than what i was expecting to pay. Naturally the alternate option was more expensive. Here is my issue. Service wasn't bad, the guy was nice about the situation. First off, why is the website allowing me to make an appointment for an item they don't have available? Second, why is it that prices are such a substantial difference from what i see online? As you see on the attached photos, installation is apart of the price. If it wasn't, then I have the option to uncheck it which reduces the price. This wasn't my situation I wanted them to install the tires. But the alternate option i was given the price in-store was roughy $850. So why is online showing me $570 and I was quoted $850 in store? Am I missing something? As a consumer this is misleading. I'd honestly avoid this place if this is the type of business practices they have. If the intro to our conversation is "if you made your appointment online or over the phone the inventory isn't accurate and the prices are different" then you have a problem. Not the workers fault seems to be an issue with online vs. on hand inventory. But don't waste my time getting me in the door to then flip the switch. read more

When I arrived, a smug older short Latino man quoted me $489 for the alignment, with his only explanation being, "because Tesla charges $599." No technical justification, no breakdown of services--just "because." I can deal with paying $489, but with that kind of reasoning, I'd rather go to Tesla and pay $599. Don't think it's a coincidence that it was my wife who they initially dealt with. Magically came up with some random discounts after we refused. First of the service from Andrew was very professional. I appreciated he heard me when it came to my issue. However, when it comes to the purchasing of road hazard insurance I was scammed. Please be careful when purchasing this because if they don't make the tire anymore you need to purchase a different tire and you need to extend that road hazard insurance to that tire. Initially paying twice. Also don't forget you have to pay for labor. There was no warning that this tire might be discontinued and then to be told the new tire I was getting wasn't going to be discontinued. It would have been nice if my tire had that reassurance. I "appreciated" being prorated for the new tire, but I should have been offered it at the same price I paid, because my tire was discontinued. Place was a joke. Called them to make an appointment for oil change and they said "we have openings anytime from 10-230pm. Made an appointment for 12. Showed up at 1145 cause maybe they can take it earlier and get it out of the way. NOPE. I give them my car and they say "going to take about 3 hours because we have the walk-in cars ahead. Since when does a walk in take priority over an appointment? Not to mention the lady on the phone said "we are slow, that's why we have so many openings available". And just to add salt to the wound, their oil packages are for 5 quarts only, which most cars take more than that and they price gouge the "extra" quarts. The manager was extremely rude to me, more on that later, but first some back history on why I would never go to this business. To avoid a potentially long wait, as my time is important to me, I called to set up an appointment at 8:55am in the morning. I asked for an appointment at 12pm. The polite lady asked if I wanted one sooner. I indicated I was waiting for a scheduled tire delivery at my house and did not want to set it up too early as the tires had not arrived. I received a text message on my phone at 9:02am that my appointment was set up. My tires arrived and I got in my car to drive to shop, arrived at 11:48am, 12 minutes before my scheduled appointment time. First they didn't even have a record of me in their system, had to give my information all over again, but that wasn't the worst part. The manager then proceeded to tell me I had to wait 4 hours to get it done. When I mentioned I was only twenty minutes away and said I would go home and they could call me when they had a better schedule, and I would be back as quickly as I can, he insisted I had to wait at least 3 hours, ore like 4 hours. I said I was willing to wait, but at home. He then interrupted me and said I need to wait like everyone else, and went to grab my order when I said I was willing to wait and gave it back to me, saying he wasn't going to provide me service. He went on to say, face to face to me in the parking lot to never come to his business again. What is the point of setting up an appointment if it takes half a day to have 4 tires mounted? Why didn't they have me in their system? Why did he treat me like I didn't have an appointment? Does everyone else have to wait 4 hours for tire installation? Why advertise appointments if they only take two a day, one every 4 hours. But more importantly, why was he so rude? I told him I would go home and try and reduce some of my wait time, but he seemed to insist I needed to wait in his shop for 4 hours? If your time means anything to you, I would avoid this shop as their manager that day doesn't care enough about customers time. He wants everyone to wait 4 hours for a tire change, and making an appointment doesn't make any difference. He wasn't even reasonable. I have never been treated so badly by a business. They should fire that manager as they are losing business because of him. read more

I required new brake pads and an alignment, and while en route to Sprouts, I noticed this establishment and decided to request a quote. The price was quite reasonable. However, one must consider that the quality of service often reflects the cost. Shortly after leaving the lot, I arrived at my destination and, within five minutes, I noticed a clicking sound each time I applied the brakes. I promptly contacted the store and was advised to return immediately. A technician took my vehicle for a test drive, during which the noise was not audible. He attributed the sound to a water bottle rolling in the back of the car. After returning home and emptying my trunk, the noise persisted. Frustrated, I reached out to the store again for assistance with the ongoing issue and spoke with Edwin, the General Manager. Initially, he appeared willing to help, but when I mentioned seeking reimbursement due to the problems I had encountered, he abruptly interrupted me, stating, "Yeah, no, that's not going to happen; that's definitely not going to happen, you'll need to call corporate." saying this in a tone like he almost wanted to laugh. Thank you for directing me to them as i was able to place a complaint against you. Corporate was just as disappointed.... you speaking to me like that... "yeah that's not going to happen"... As a manager Edwin, you should enhance your professionalism and learn to communicate respectfully with customers, especially when they approach you in a courteous manner, as I did not raise my voice or respond inappropriately not even once after this hassle I have gone through. To Advisor Andrew, Your management skills are truly commendable, you should be the Manager, and your customer service is beyond exceptional. I had a flat so I called them in the morning to make an appointment. On the call they were very helpful and set up a same day appointment for me to have my tire patched. After work my tire was very low so I drove over to Mountain View. The man at the front (bald and middle aged) very quickly told me that they could not patch my tire and something about them putting in an order this morning. I explained to him that the person on the phone knew about my tire and even set an appointment for me. The guy just says "I know but we can't do it". Then he tells me he can put air in the tire for me and tells me to pull to the side of the building. I pull the the side and come back in. He says "No! To the bays" and I'm frustrated at this point. I finally tell him to just show me where he wants me to go. He's acting as if I come there all the time and must know what he's talking about. Anyway, I went over to Les Schwab and they fixed it for me within half an hour for free. Les Schwab is just up the street. Their facilities are also much nicer. read more

I ordered tires online from Tire Rack and had them delivered to this location. I set an appointment to have them installed but was disappointed when I arrived to be told their machine was broken and they could not do this install. I told the gentleman (politely) that I was not pleased because I had driven 40 minutes to get there. I week later I called to see if the machine had been fixed and Jon told me it had been. I drove down that morning to get the installation done and waited while they did it. After they finished, I asked him how much I owed, he said nothing. TRASH. Appointments dont matter here. Go somewhere else. Friday, 1/17/25 brought a Honda Civic for an oil change. Had a 7:30am appointment. The store opens at 7:30am. I got there at 7:20, was 4th in line . Everyone ahead of me, only one person had an appointment. Was able to check in by 7:38, thats fine. I figured they will work on cars on a first come first serve basis, and give any appointments priority. Nope. Every car was done before mine, regardless of appointment. A customer named Lee came in around 8:15, checked in after me. He knew the guy working the front desk. No appointment, guess who gets his car out first? If you guessed Lee, you would be correct. If your going to run a shop like this, dont offer appointments. Or if you want to keep appointments, train staff better to track them with walk-ins. The other guy that did have a 7:30 appointment ended up leaving without the service done at 945 when they told him they didnt have the needed filter. I had to speak with the guy at the front desk asking how much longer it would take as it was 945 and the car was still in the parking lot. Bro looked suprised when i mentioned the 730 appointment i had. That was the second time i told him. They finished with the oil change at 11am. If you value your time, go somewhere else. read more

Last year I had 4 new tires installed on my car as well as new brakes. Paid the money; solid experience and went on my way. Fast forward a year later and my brakes are grinding. Weird that after a year the brakes would be bad. Took it to a different place and the mechanic called me in and asked when the brakes were installed. Told him it's been a year and the place. Mechanic said: they never put new brakes on the car. Showed them to me and they were factory brakes which places like this do not install. The mechanic confirmed his findings with a couple other people and they laughed and said the same thing. So I paid Mountain View a few hundred to install new brakes and they let me drive away knowing full well they didn't. Took my money and lied about the work done.
