I got a screw in my tire this morning and called America's Tire. Jesse answered the phone and was very informative as to how the process goes as well as the ETA based on when I come in. Came in during my lunch and I was greeted by I believe a gentleman called Billy? He got me checked in and was very friendly throughout the entire time. Went over my tire condition, checked my wipers etc. He then got me into the lobby where I waited for about 30 ish minutes and my truck was worked on and completed in a timely manner. I had a very frustrating experience at Discount Tire today. On the phone, I spoke with Sunny, who looked up my phone number and immediately told me that I had a lifetime warranty. He reassured me that I would be taken care of if I came in before the evening, so I left work early to make sure I could get this handled. Once I arrived, I dealt with Leslie, who looked me up the same way Sunny did--by phone number--but told me I did not have a warranty. So now I'm getting completely different information from two people at the same company. Leslie then told me he would "do me a favor" and take care of the tire for me this one time. But as soon as we walked back into the office, he quoted me a price for two tires, even though I only came in to replace one. On top of that, I was told the warranty I supposedly have doesn't actually apply because the issue was considered "mechanical wear and tear." To me, this feels like a bait-and-switch situation: I was told I'd be covered under warranty, but once I showed up, the story changed, and the focus shifted to upselling me instead of honoring what I was promised. I took time out of my workday to get this resolved based on what Sunny said, and instead I left feeling like the warranty is meaningless and more like a scam. I would strongly caution others to think twice before buying a warranty here--or even buying tires here at all. read more

NEVER COMING BACK! So this is a long story, but if you value your time and hard earned car, DONT ever go here. I cannot say to any America's Tires, but at least by my experience at the Fontana location, I am not coming here EVER. To keep it simple and short, I've had three different cars that I have brought here, getting new tires for them. I have never had an experience where my wait time is short, EVEN WITH AN APPOINTMENT!. Every time I would loose my balance weights within a couple of miles of driving!! (Three times already). Having to come back or schedule another appointment if I was running errands. My most recent visit, and the one that ruined it for me was that I not also lost my wheel balance within a couple of miles of driving but I realized that they are either lazy or too busy to remove the old glue, this time I noticed that they SCRATCHED my wheels when removing the weights, by the look of it in the pictures it almost looks like the worker used a screwdriver or something sharp, disregarding customers property. A plastic tool or string would be a better way to remove those or a heating gun. I gave them multiple chances to do THEIR job right and every time they would do a half ass job. I called customer service and they offered to "Fix the issue" but knowing them, and them seeing me come AGAIN and AGAIN and this time with an actual complaint to corporate, I fear they would do something to my car on purpose. read more

We have been taking our cars here for years. They have never disappointed us and have always been professional and friendly. We always book our order online and simply show up on the day of our appointment and VOILA. My new tires were installed within half the time I was initially quoted. During my most recent visit, I noticed that my tires were wearing unevenly. The America's Tires associate explained that it was an alignment issue and he referred me to a local shop. I showed up to my appointment approx 10 mins beforehand. Checked in with the employee and told me they'd have my car out quickly. It wasn't a busy day with only a few other guests in the lobby. 30 mins go by before I realize that my truck is sitting in the same spot after watching multiple cars come in and out of the shop bay. I asked an employee if there was a reason why my truck had not been brought into the bay as I had an appointment at 1215. He said it was not checked in as an appointment but they'd bring it on back immediately. Well, I watched two more vehicles be brought in before mine was finally taken back. I guess America's Tire does not value the time of a customer, especially one who took the time to make an appointment. I've been coming here for years, having multiple of my cars serviced. I think it's time to give Costco my business. That being said, the product I went to America's tire for was about $100 cheaper. I've been to this location several times for different reasons: multiple cars, air checks, new tires, inquiries, etc... and every time, I've always had a great, positive experience. I want to give a shout out to two employees there who, I feel, go above and beyond. Their names are Jesse and Leslie. They were very kind people that made me feel very comfortable and well taken care of! I just got my tires replaced. I bought my previous ones from them a few years ago and it went 87k miles. They had put in some great tires for me then and now I hope these new ones can go for just as many miles! They do tire alignment, too, now at the location so it's a one-stop shop for sure. Today's 5/30/2026 . I went to Padillas tires in Fontana to buy a set of 4 LT tires . Size 275-70-18 -10 ply . I wanted to kumho tires. Padillas couldn't give me a road hazard warranty. I went to Americas tires to get a refund cause I didn't want to put back on Michelins. I had Michelins from factory . Only got 20 k off of them . Kumhos will give me a better freeway ride with a warranty from Americas tires . They matched the price I showed them . So I got the refund from the Michelins and paid for the kumhos 968.00 installed with mount and balance plus warranty . Thanks to the desk assistant Eric and Evan the floor lead for getting me in . I also elected to get a wheel alignment it was off a bit . The toe . Got that done so the tires stay warrantied . I busted tires in the 80s during my college days . Tuff job but they had a team of 4 working my truck . In and out in 1 hour 10 minutes. That included the wheel alignment. Excellent work I know cause I did this type of work for 5 years . Today, their store manager told me I was better off driving away from them with a mickey mouse licorice plug I stuck in the tire on the side of the freeway in an emergency to make it to their shop, rather than help plug it properly, and I had no choice but to buy a tire that I didn't want. I have been an America's Tire loyal customer my entire adult life. For two decades I have chosen to come to their shop to get my tires when I had plenty of options to go elsewhere. Over the years, they even learned such things like that an E1 or LT load tire needs to be filled up to more than 35 psi (I had to explain to their techs that the door hinge on the truck lists the psi for the factory tire, and that if you install a heavier duty tire, you need to fill it to the NEW tire's recommended psi, not the psi listed on the door of the vehicle). So that's progress -- now they know that thicker tires actually need more air! Wasn't always the case -- a few years back the same shop insisted that the 35 psi printed on my truck's DOOR was the correct psi for the E1 Rated 80 psi max tire they installed for me, even though it was visibly flaccid when they rolled out their finished job. A few months ago I got a new set of $2300 Mickey Thompsons from them. TPS was faulty in one tire, and they didn't even bother to ask me if I wanted it fixed. You would think a tire shop would at least try to sell the customer a replacement sensor, but no, they'll happily send you on your way with an error code and bad sensor that they are easily capable of fixing, and I had to come back, and wait again, for them to take the tire off again and fix the sensor. The mechanic is the one who's supposed to be watching out for the customer not the other way around! Hey, sell me on a replacement sensor! Nope, they don't care, just get him out of here, not a care in the world if the TPS is flashing an error code after a TIRE SHOP finishes their job! Fast forward to today. I ran into a piece of shrapnel on the freeway with the new Mickey Thompsons I got from them. As I carry a pump and emergency patch with me I was able to plug it just with a 99 cent licorice plug (no cement) and AS A LOYAL CUSTOMER I drove out of my way with the noodle sticking out of my tire just to come to my favorite America's tire, knowing they've got my back. Boy was I wrong. They refused to patch it. The tech who looked at it would have done it, but manager boss said no. The location of the puncture is not the sidewall, but it's a spot that starts to curve, so it is borderline and of course, an excellent excuse for them to not patch it even though these are ALWAYS the spots where you get punctures, let's be honest. I wanted to buy a replacement matching tire but since it was in Arizona and no local inventory, and it would have been 3-4 days before it came in. I asked them to please, please make an exception and plug up my puncture as it would be a heck of a lot better than what I did in 30 seconds on the side of the road to get to them. Just so I could make it home and wait out the three days to get the new matching replacement tire. Manager could care less. He was bound by the COMPANY POLICY - they will not patch this location. And then, he told me I was better off driving on the patch I did rather than professionally redoing it. There was no empathy, no trying to help. No solutions. The manager told me I was "better off driving on the patch" I installed than help me. And this is what got me. I realized that they just don't care. Please go to a smaller shop to someone who actually appreciates your money and business. Someone who appreciates a properly working vehicle and whose idea of safety is common sense, not a corporate policy to use as an excuse to get thru the day doing as little as possible. These people do not care about your safety but they sure will use it as an excuse to put you in a position where you have to buy something you don't want or need, because you have no choice. I was forced to buy a tire I did not want today. I would like it replaced with a new Mickey Thompson to match my other three tires. This could have easily been arranged and I had no problem paying for the new tire, but instead, the management will follow their policy off a cliff and would rather have the client leave their shop with a tire that is dangerous to drive on, than to help find a common sense solution to help a customer of two decades who brings multiple cars to them and buys their top shelf tires. It was the manager's call. He chose to not help and did not care. I don't like giving my money to people who don't care. Neither should you. Go to a smaller mechanic who will actually at least thank you for the thousands of dollars you give them and look out for your safety because they actually like cars and their jobs. I needed four new tires urgently -- it was 5 PM and they closed at 6 PM, so I expected to be told to come back another day. I asked for pricing, which turned out to be very fair, and to my surprise, they said they could take care of it the same day. That meant a lot, especially since my tires were in bad shape with bubbles and splitting. Even with six cars ahead of me, they had my car in and out within an hour.
