Nice facility and friendly staff, but their work was unacceptable and unsafe. On January 30th I had new tires installed on my Ram 2500 at this location. The very next morning (January 31st), during a pre-trip inspection before a 500-mile drive, I discovered one wheel had significant damage around the lug nuts and along the outer lip. Even more concerning, several lug nuts were loose -- one was nearly falling out. This is a serious safety failure. Properly torquing lug nuts is basic, critical work. Had I not done a walk-around inspection, this could have resulted in a wheel coming off at highway speeds. The damage to my wheel is frustrating, but the safety risk is the bigger issue. I expected professional, competent service. Unfortunately, this experience was extremely disappointing. read more

Alignment- Avoid this location unless you want to get scammed and want to pay for nothing. Lackluster customer service and alignment graph printing equipment doesn't work to assess your alignment and expect you to go by word of mouth and pay for it being done. Refused customer service to get it redone for a visual graph. Been to same location previous times years before and was treated well management/employees now doesn't inspire confidence in the work and service they provide. If they can't provide essential material I'd highly avoid. read more

I love the staff here. The level of customer service really does set them apart from other tire centers. Price wise, some products can obviously cost a little more than the big warehouse place, but I come here for the peace of mind. After having problems with tires for a couple of years (not holding pressure, uneven wear, etc., we decided to try Les Schwab. The tires were a tiny bit more expensive than our old ones but, it has been worth it! My husband drives hundreds of miles a week and doesn't need unreliable tires. Today, he went to Les Schwab to have his tires rotated (free). He had noticed a screw in one of his tires. They checked it out and it had not damaged the tire. The staff is so efficient and honest! Came in to see if they fix flats. My girls 1998 VW Beatle picked up a screw / nail and I wasn't sure if it was fixable. I came in and the staff were awesome. They greeted me and didn't try to sell me a new set of tires. The said "no problem " let us take a look. 20mins later I was back on the road and they said "no charge " just come back when your ready for tires or an oil change. I tipped the gentleman ( it's almost 100 degrees outside) and very happy customer. I will be back. Thank you again for your help today. lol read more

For TIRES, I'd recommend this place. It's kind of hard to mess up tires. If there's any issues with the tires they take of it. BUT FOR BRAKES, STAY AWAY. I've tried so many times to be understanding but their prices don't match the quality you receive. Les Schwab uses Raybestos and their parts are cheaply made. I've had so many warranty issues with my brake services. Rotors warped, pads don't last, spongy/weak brakes, vibrations, you name it. I don't have anything against the front desk except for their prices, they're outrageous! But it makes sense with all the warranty rework they must encounter. The Les Schwab way is shady when it comes to brakes. Why is it necessary to change the calipers every service? But when it comes to warranty claims, they don't follow those rules and only change what is needed. That's a red flag. My main issue is with quality, there is no quality assurance. I feel like whenever I take my car to get worked on at 6251 Sierra Ave, I get serviced by their worst/unexperienced employee. I got quoted $480 for rear brake service on a 2014 Honda accord v6. Having been down that road before, I chose to spend less than $200 and decided to just do it myself and when I took apart the rear brakes I discovered that Les Schwab did not install the rotor screws . They also did not install the brake pad springs. This was on BOTH SIDES. Is this by design? Are they sabotaging the brake job to cause extra wear and tear on your brakes? The rotor screws secures the rotor on your hub to eliminate vibrations, and the brake pad springs ensure the pads don't ride on the rotor when the brakes are not being used. There's a reason why these parts are there. How can you trust a place that charges so much but deviates from installation manuals and basically has no quality assurance. Like I said, Jared is a nice guy but he doesn't have employees that care about ALL the cars that they service- equally. Maybe it's my fault for not coming in with a brand new shiny car, I feel like those customers get better service. read more

I'm so disappointed at this tire shop. I went in for a flat tire which they couldn't patch and told me a needed a new tire. I explained to service guy that I just had bought the tires and asked him to put the spare tire as I needed to take the tire back since I had warranty. He instead put the old flat tire and told me he didn't have the tools to put the spare tire. It's unvelibable that a well know tire shop doesn't have the tools for a spare tire. Great place for an oil change or help with air in the tires. I even got my tires changed here but I need to update my review. I would not recommend getting brakes here. The manager was kind and helped me with a credit increase but now I find myself paying over 500$ for brakes that screech and squeal even after they've been changed to "new brakes". The manager helped me warranty them out because he let me show him the screeching noise I hear when I press my brakes. and the same day I took the car out of the parking lot, they still screech.. I feel bad wanting to tell them manager again that these still screech, so I've just accepted it. I wish I didn't get myself into more debt for these brakes, they're horrible. And the warranty I was had to pay as a "package deal" says I need to let them change everything : brakes, the rotars and for labor. The brakes this second time sound exactly the same. They screech every day. I haven't had any issues with Les Schwab time I got these brakes in November. Now I don't know what to do... If the manager couldn't help me, is it a lost cause? Smh It's so embarrassing driving to my son's school, work and anywhere else and when I'm trying to come to a brake it screeches soooooo loud. read more

I came in to get one of my tires patched. My tire had a SMALL screw on the tread area. I was told that they were unable to patch it and wanted to charge me 284$ for a tire. I declined what they offered me and went to mountain view tires across the street where they patched it in less then 30 minutes . I find les schwab tire center in Fontana to be UNETHICAL. If you are a women I suggest that you do your research prior to getting anything done on your vehicle because it is easier to distinguish corrupted facilities such as this place . read more

I hate writing bad reviews but something needs to be said. I took my civic here last year for my first ever rear drum brake replacement. At that point my car was about 10 years old and this was the first time I've ever needed the back brakes replaced ($1200). Everything was fine the first day... then a few weeks later I'm on the freeway and I hear something pop. I took it back to Les Schwab and turns out a spring on my rear brakes snapped. They fixed it for free, no problem. Fast forward to this year, my parking brake begins to feel loose. So I take my car to the Honda dealership, they tell me my back brakes are WRECKED! If you don't know anything about drum brakes, they are supposed to last anywhere from 100k-200k miles. Their job only lasted 50k miles (Which, yes 50k miles in one year is a lot. But I drove to LA a lot for work this year). REGARDLESS, my brakes should have lasted waaayyy longer, its not like I drove on mountainous terrain, drove hard or went off-roading in my civic. To make things better, the Les Schwab warranty is 3yrs or 25k miles, so they wouldn't cover the repairs. Full report on my repairs from my normal TRUSTED mechanic, everything needed to be replaced: my drums, wheel cylinders, etc., and apparently I'm MISSING parts in the whole rear brake system. I did have my boyfriend, who is car savvy, verify the mechanics findings and our mechanic was correct. Sum of the story, DON'T trust them with a brake job, they are NOT specialist. Never again am I coming here... And I don't want to hear an "I'm sorry" from them. Just DO BETTER! read more

Been taking my jeep to this location for maintenance since they lifted up my truck I had encountered nice people that is always willing to work. However on my last tire rotation the front passenger tire was loose and it started making a click sound that was progressively getting louder. At the moment I had to move to the Bay Area for work so I took my truck to a Les Schwab center near there. They found out that the tire was not properly installed and it damaged the rim and the tire pressure sensor, which was exchanged at not cost to me. I mentioned this situation to Patricia at the Fontana location, she completely disregarded my concerned and became defensive about the situation, I verbalized that I was not complaining, I was just trying to informed her of the situation so they could be more careful when handling my car for I value my life and my safety and my family's as well. She started rolling her eyes and giving me a nasty attitude. I requested to speak with the manager and he was a polite and stated "I would handle the situation with her". As a business people like her should not be allowed to deal with costumers if she cannot out her personal perception or feeling to get out of hands, I mentioned to the manager that this situation could've been handled differently for I was not asking for anything or demanding any type of compensation, I was simply letting them know of my situation and to please be more careful next time. I would definitely switch to the Rialto location, just to avoid the awkwardness of dealing with Patricia again. read more

Unfortunately, our experience was subpar overall. Indeed Patricia was amicable and professional when I called for brake replacement pricing. Said I had to bring in the vehicle for a free inspection. Therefore; she brought a customer through the doors. But it's when I sent my son to take in the vehicle for that "free inspection" that turned a potential customer into a non customer when he dealt with a jay, John Joseph what ever he mumbled. He was pretty rude and I had to match that energy. It's when I told my son to just get the keys and leave. Didn't need to pay an establishment for that subpar treatment when I have a plethora of options equal or cheaper. Especially when I'm paying for convenience to the location but I had to go further out to get this job done. I don't understand the terrible concept of this new business model. Stop saying free inspection and call customer with crazy pricing expecting a robotic yes. Use empathy and explain why your pricing is high due to quality ceramic or gold plated brake pads. In essence, use better sales tactics to garner the respect of your customer, loyalty and business. Anyhow; never again. read more

Every time I have ever been to this store, I've experienced the best service and complete professionalism. Spoke with an older gentleman who said he has to order the tire I needed and it Would be in Monday morning, I gave my info we ended the call. Monday morning comes.
