I called in American Tire depot in Fontana in the morning about 9 AM. They had my size tires available. I told him I had to go to work by 11:30. I need to be out of there by 11 due to the fact I was already a returning customer Dan Was very helpful told me he'd get the tires ready when I got there. I had no problems no issues. I was out of there by 11:05 made it to work on time he inspected my vehicles. Let me know I needed shocks. I was in and out there quickly . Everybody was pretty polite professional. I've only been there a couple times, but I've never had any issues whatsoever. read more

I chose this place to get my flat tire diagnosed and replaced because my boyfriend suggested I come here since they tend to have a good reputation. I was having a pretty rough day because I had been waiting for 3 hours to get my car towed thanks to my insurance failing on me. When I got there, I told them my issue and the guy who helped me was very welcoming and friendly. I get a bit nervous sometimes coming to get my car fixed because I'm not as familiar with the process, but he was super nice and I felt much better as soon as he assured he'd help me as soon as he could. I was pretty much in and out within 30 minutes. He made sure to answer any questions I had and the workers were very nice too. I'm really glad I chose this place, thank you!! Very disappointed with the customer service at American Tire Depot. I was on hold for over an hour waiting for Jessie to get back to me. When I called back, I was placed on hold for another 30 minutes before I finally gave up and hung up. What frustrated me most was the lack of communication and follow-up. No one checked in, gave me an update, or offered an alternative way to get assistance. I understand businesses get busy, but leaving customers on hold for that long without any response is unacceptable. It felt like my time wasn't valued and my concerns weren't important. Based on this experience, I would be hesitant to return or recommend this location to others. Customer service and communication need significant improvement. read more

No accountability and they falsify documentation. I did contact the BAR and of course the manager AND the mechanic that worked on her car left to a different location, shady people that work there and seems like the company overall only protect their employees. I ordered tires from this shop, set an appointment, and showed up on time. The tires didn't come. No phone call, no notification, and I after waiting 30 minutes with some hope, I had to leave. The shop did try and call the supplier but apparently they closed for the day already. Welp, that could have been handled better. Two days later Christmas was in between), I get a call in the early AM since the tires came in. I told them I could come in just before noon. Tires got handled, money stayed local, and I caught up on my YouTube time lol. Here my recommendation here. If you order anything, call before driving over. I went in to have brakes done on my vehicle when I picked up my vehicle around 5:50. I went around the corner to stop at the store when I noticed my right passenger front rim had extensive damage with a huge chip in the middle of it. I then called the Shop around 6:03pm but they had already closed so I found a number to their corporate office and filed a complaint. the next day on July 3 the manager of that Fontana location called me, said he would review video after reviewing video called me back and stated that he could send my rim out to have it buffed. I told him absolutely not. The type of rims I have could not be buffed out. He told me at least let him try because if I wanted it replaced he would only be able to give me aftermarket pricing. I was not satisfied with that so I went ahead and took my vehicle to the Lexus dealership where they confirmed that the damage was not repairable, and I would need a new rim which they gave me a printout of how much it would cost and their business card if anyone needed to speak to them about the repair damage, I was told when I called into the corporate department that I would be receiving a call in about three business days from the district manager for that location that was on July 2 when I made the claim it is now July 13 and I still have to run around trying to call the district manager because he is not giving me a call back. this is the worst experience. My last amount that I paid on July 2 when the damage happened, over $1500 I have stopped taking my vehicle to the Lexus dealership and given my business to American tire depot here in Fontana for them to treat me this way after they damaged my vehicle. read more

Updated Review - Disappointed After Initially Great Experience I originally left a 5-star review because the shop-level customer service, especially from Andrew Cortez, was excellent. He went above and beyond when I was in a tough spot, and I really appreciated that. Unfortunately, I had to update my review due to a serious issue that followed. I visited this location on 5/11/25 for a full set of tires and was told I needed an alignment, but that it was safe to drive home (to Arizona) and get it done there. As soon as I left the shop, I noticed vibrations coming from the front passenger side. The shop was already closed, so I continued my drive, thinking it was alignment-related. Once home, I towed my vehicle to a trusted local shop, where they found that the front wheel had not been fully fastened during service. I was shocked but tried to remain calm and work with the company who I informed of this issue on 5/13/2025. That's where things got frustrating. It took until 5/22/25 just to get a usable spare with the assistance of American Tire Depots district manager so I could drive again--11 days without transportation. Communication from the district manager was poor: delayed responses, unreturned calls/emails, and very little urgency. I often felt like I was his last priority which given the circumstances, seems unreasonable to me. I had to rent a car and cancel multiple appointments, yet they only covered one day of the rental. The issue wasn't fully resolved until 6/4/25--23 days after my initial complaint. Mistakes happen--I get that. What I can't excuse is how poorly the situation was handled afterward. I felt like a low priority the entire time. So while this shop might be fine if everything goes smoothly, if something goes wrong--expect a long, stressful process. Updating to add the following - I went to Discount Tire to have rims and tires put on my other vehicle. Ordered them on a Saturday 6/14 and had them installed by Wednesday afternoon 6/18. Not only was service faster with a different shop but they didn't damage my vehicle and then take a month to resolve their mistake. read more

I had a really bad experience at this location. It was my first time here I dropped off my car. I had an appointment at 2 o'clock. I spoke to David. I told him I'm here for an oil change and how long would it take? He said about 1 hour. I said OK so I left my car parked behind the line in the oil change section. I ask him Is it OK for me to leave my car parked here he said yes it's OK about two hours. Go by and I'm wondering what's taking so long and then I get a call from David telling me that my car has been hit and I need to come in. He said he checked the footage and saw who it was contacted the person and the person is on his way back. When I get there the first thing I do is I asked him did the car get the oil changed because it's been two hours and his response was that no we actually ran out of oil so I told him why didn't you call me to tell me. I would have picked it up and not got my oil changed down there because if my car would have got the oil changed within the hour like you said you would have moved the car. Since it's parked in the middle of the parking lot because now the two cars that were in front of me got their oil change so now he's blaming me saying that it's my fault that I left my car parked there and I said David if I was in your position and I knew that my car wasn't gonna get serviced, I would have parked it in the customer parking spaces and got it when I was ready to service it. I asked you if my car was OK to be parked there. He said yes it was. Now he said, it's my fault because I left my car parked there. He's response "are you trying to blame me for your car getting hit". I said I'm blaming you because you said it was OK for me to park there if you would have told me to park my car in the parking space none of this would've happened or if you would have moved my car to be next in line we could avoided the situation. There's a lot of things that I did not like about my experience. He told me to call the manager of the location because he doesn't have access to the cameras. He needs a code so I contact "Al" the owner of the Rialto location and he told me that he doesn't have the code to the camera so he doesn't know how David was able to check the footage. I came in for an oil change and left with a damage passenger door. Did not offer me any type of discount or free service. read more
