Love the long walking path behind the baseball fields! It's perfect for a run or walk as you don't need to worry about cars flying on by. My friend and I brought her kiddos to ride their scooter and bike around while we walked and talked. The trail says 1.26 miles, but from the parking lot near the baseball fields around and back down on Mountains Edge my watch read 1.80 miles. Lots to do with the playground on the other side along with the soccer field. A nice pavilion to have gatherings too. While the kids on the e-bikes sometimes come through, they aren't supposed to, and that makes it a little dangerous. Overall a nice park! read more

The park is easily accessible from Blue Diamond and Buffalo. We went around 3PM and normally my daughter will spend an hour exploring the equipment. She later admits 10 minutes in the 106F heat. Also, the climbing netting area was closed. The park is well equipped with a "gym", slides, swings, bathroom and a walking trail. We will try again when the weather gets cooler read more

This park has everything one can want in a park and more. Expensive walking trails, multiple playgrounds, baseball fields, soccer field, large picnic areas, etc. If you like to walk, the paths here are large and offer longer paths for you to get your steps in with pretty scenery. I go to a run club at this park and it's been great. The route is simple and it's paved, which is awesome. There is so much room to play, run, chat, bike, etc. it's a very nice park that's well taken-care of. The restrooms are clean, but there's no soap or hand sanitizer, which kinda sucks. read more

Great place for my health and fitness junkies. There are adult equipment to do isolated exercises near the parking area. There's a decent grass section where often times recreation leagues are practicing. There's also a big cemented walking bath. Along with biking and walking lanes through a dirt patch. I can easily spend an hour here with my Aussie labradoodle. It helps both of us get the exercise we need and spaced out enough that if I need to avoid another dog I can move to a different part of the park. We came here for Easter Sunday and although the parking lot was full it didn't seem too busy. We found a nice spot under a tree to set up a blanket and we ate some subs we brought. Then threw the football and the frisbee. Only thing that made me feel uneasy were these kids that kept going down the hill by us on their electric bikes. My three kids love this park. We drive about 25 minutes to get here but it's so worth it. They bring their scooters and bikes to drive in the miniature streets they have. The streets have stop signs and little pretend shopping areas for them. The play area is also nice and includes a playground for younger children and another for older children. Below the playground there is a lot of grass for kids to run around and play if there isn't any soccer or football teams playing. Right next to the playground, they also have a designated area to work out with your body weight. It's an awesome park and has something for everyone! read more

I come to Mountain's edge Mountain to hike it at least 2 to 3 times per week. It really helps my agility after having a traumatic brain injury and I could not walk and had to learn how to walk again so my balance and coordination was off, but this mountain completely has cured it. I come here all the time to walk my dogs and it has a very scenic and long paved walking trail. This along with a ton of shaded areas, a super cute play ground, and large grassy area, makes for a perfect place for dogs and kids of all ages. The walking path is also used for bikes, scooters, etc but even when it's busy I've never felt it was overcrowded. I love this park! read more

Now that social distancing has been forced upon us by Covid-19, many have taken to local parks and hiking trails as their local gyms have closed. The wife and I have been coming here for a couple years for the nice walk trails and mountain views this beautiful park has to offer. Fast forward to Mar and Apr 2020, there are more people here but the park is spacious enough to accommodate and with the many grassy areas, benches and trees you and your family can surely be distanced from others. Please do be courteous and adhere to current social mandates. Wear your mask and be respectful of others when passing on the trails. You can reserve the grassy areas for various events and also the larger picnic areas located near the kids playgrounds. A huge chip net jungle gym greets you as you enter this park. It always reminded us of Pringle's chips, once you see it you'll understand. Basketball, hockey, Mayan ball and many others are offered here. Perfect for kite flying on a nice breezy day. Come and enjoy the Mountains's Edge Regional Park and help to keep it clean for others, pick up after yourselves and respect the nature this park provides. read more

This park is huge! It has many different sections. There's a basketball court, baseball fields, soccer field, a trail for running/biking/walking, a playground for kids and a workout area. We went on a Sunday and decided to walk our dogs. It was very busy. There were a variety of games going on. The park was very clean. Definitely a great park to take your family and dogs to. read more

We came Sunday for a hike. We planned to come earlier but we're beat from work Saturday. We got here around 11 am and decided to do the hike around the Mountains edge loop, entering on the southwest side of the park. It takes you around the back of the baseball fields, and it was beautiful and peaceful. The trail is cemented. With a few man made dirt paths to cut your hike short. I don't recommend those paths unless you have to cut your joke short. Also, although peaceful, it is in the desert area between homes. So it's not fully an escape but enough to get some peace of mind and hear the distant sounds of life, cars, and people. It's an easy walk. A few people walking the trail and a few bikers. We didn't finish. It says around two miles and 40 minutes to complete. We did half and turned around. Not because we couldn't finish, we came at a time of day the sun was coming to its peak in the sky and it was getting too hot. I'd say it is probably a little longer than 40 minutes if you're a moderate walker. Forty minutes for the speedsters. And maybe 20-30 for the runners. We plan to go back there again early morning as originally planned. When you start the hike it's hard to see how it can be two miles long but it's a long wrap around path. There are a couple rest stops along the path that are shaded and somehow in the heat still caught a nice breeze in their shade. There was also some small critters along the way throughout. Didn't see rattlesnakes but I'm sure as it gets hotter they are around. If you check your phone map as you walk you can see the path in which your hiking allowing yourself to know how far you've gone and how much you have left on your walk. I plan to do this again with my dog. It looked great for dogs. Just take plenty water. No water fountains. read more

With so many parks in Vegas, it really is hard to pick a good one but, I think for my son, this had to be up there for him. He's 3 and he really enjoyed the built in village and cars and trucks. So fun for him to "drive" and play pretend. He also, loves all the toddler climbing and slides. He isn't that good at climbing too high so, the climbing apparatuses here are perfect for him to practice climbing without freaking me out! Playground is pretty big where the bigger kids play were kinda far from the stuff for littles. And I like that the playground is enclosed. Lots of shade, which is a must in Vegas! In fact, the whole playground was covered with shade. Also, great park for parties (cuz that's why I was even at this park); lots of parking. And when walking to my car, I noticed more areas for wall ball or basketball. read more

As a stay at home mom, I'm always trying to find things to do with my little one that won't cost damage to my wallet. My friend told me about this park and said they had a play area for the little ones. Right then, I was sold. I had to take my son here. I live about 15 minutes away, so the drive wasn't terrible. It's super easy to find with plenty of parking. As others have said already, there's actual workout equipment for adults, a jungle gym for those under five years of age, another jungle gym for those between 5-12, swings, a miniature town where kiddos can ride scooters or bikes and a Pringles-looking climbing thing. So much to do! The equipment looks pretty decent and I wasn't too grossed out letting my son touch things. There is also a huge grassy area for ball games, a hiking trail towards the back and an abundance of picnic tables for parties. The day I visited, I chatted with a few parents who all seemed pretty friendly. Here's where I drop a star. 1. ALL the grassy area was dead and brown. Really depressing looking. 2. The park looks clean, but I saw a bunch of smaller pieces of trash everywhere: bottle caps, candy wrappers, straws, things of that nature. This should be addressed because since it is a park for the kids, the younger ones tend to pick up anything and everything to put in their mouths. I had to watch my son closely because he kept finding trash. 3. Around the picnic area, there were shards of glass. Again, needs to addressed since it's shiny in the sun and attracts the little ones. All in all, I do like this park and I would take my son here again. read more

My husband found this great park online and we decided to try it out. It has a cool climbing tower that our sons love. It's a little too hard for our toddler. We like the climbing tower at Downtown Summerlin better. This park is so cute! It has a little town area that the boys love. Kids love to ride their bikes around here. We brought our sons' driving cars. They love driving around and having fun. The playground area is fun. My boys love the spinning cups, slides and the see-saw. Everything looked clean and in good shape. We will definitely be back to play and have more fun again! read more

A very nice park near Buffalo and Blue Diamond with plenty of parking. My favorite part of the park is the walking trail. I'm not sure how long it is but it zigzags through a spacious area. It's mostly level (there are a few slight grades but nothing strenuous). My friend and I walked two laps around the trail and it took roughly an hour and a half. Most people walk the trail, but there were a few on bikes and scooters. A few joggers as well, but all were courteous about going around us. There are several covered benches along the trail if you want to stop and rest for a while in the shade. You also get a nice view of the city facing east and can see all the way to Henderson. In addition to the trail, they have two baseball fields, a basketball court, clean restrooms, a playground for the kids, and a large grassy area for picnics. I even saw people playing a game that resembled racquetball or squash (I was too far away to know for sure). A cool place to bring the kids, play with the dog, or just take a long walk like I did. This park is so beautiful. It's very large and spacious and has things to do for all ages. The actual playground itself is always clean and looks very safe. Tons to do for the little ones! There is lots of grass area to sit down or walk your furry friends. The hike to the top of the "mountain" takes about 10-30 minutes depending on your pace. I really enjoy the short hike. The top of the mountain gives you a nice view of the southwest and you can see the strip for a little distance. There's room to sit down, picnic, BBQ, etc. This park is so clean, well kept, and caters to all ages. Whether you want to BBQ, picnic, go for a walk, throw a birthday, hike, take your little ones or pets to play, it has something for everyone. read more

There is a large covered picnic area for parties, an outside fitness area, dog water fountains, a large grass area for sports, a walking trail, biking trails, a small town type area for small scooters for kids, and plenty of toys and swings for kids to play on. The ice cream man comes on the weekends and the park is kept up pretty nice. The are currently expanding the park to do more sporting areas and I wish they would have put in a dog park :( It is ok though as it is still a nice area to come walk the dog and enjoy the outdoors with the little ones. read more

I love that this place has shaded playgrounds for the kiddos...especially with the heat in Vegas! My kids loved this playground. It's different. Lots of stuff to climb and not a lot of slides. AND there's no sand in the playground! Definitely a plus for us parents who hate to deal with the sand aftermath in the car haha. A beautiful park in the far south. They have some great play areas for kids and adults, alike. Large rolling fields of new grass. Everything is new and working. Great play area for the little tykes, almost a Discovery museum-like area for toddlers. Fun little mini town, with bike lanes, working stop lights & shops to play in. Cute park in a newer area of Las Vegas. Very well kept baseball fields with a running and walking trail around the perimeter. It was quite chilly when we went on a December morning. They also have walls that you can use to hone your sports skills when you don't have anyone to play with. I do wish they had tennis courts here so that I could play with my sister and brother in law when I visit. read more

This park is fairly new and has stayed in good shape. Park is huge and has everything you need for a family outing at the park! I like to run and I have to tell ya, the run around their walking path is phenomenal!! Amazing views and the path is paved well for running and biking! They added the beautiful baseball fields to the west of the park and they are gorgeous!! A wonderful touch to the area and to the park. It's only used for tournaments but it's nice to know that if our son has a tournament there, it's close by and we know the fields are well kept! Swing by there, go for a bike ride, a jog, or walk the park. It's beautiful, you'll be happy and so will the family! read more

One of my favorite times of the year in Las Vegas is autumn. This is the time of year when the temperature is brisk, the sunsets prettier, and the natural lighting warmer. Mountain's Edge Regional Park perfectly encapsulates all of these "fall features"! The park is very popular for picnicking as there are areas all over the park with tables, built-in grills, shaded structures. The large grass field is popular for soccer games and frisbee throwing with the dog. This is a comprehensive park, however, and many other sports can be practiced throughout. My partner and I often drive here at night with the dog to walk along the meandering 1+ mile trail behind the park. On moonless nights, you can see stars, the lights of neighboring communities, and Luxor's ubiquitous beam of light from the strip. Love this place! read more

The park has a nice children's playground covered from the sun. The exercise track is very nice and paved. Lots of people biking and walking every day in the mornings . Brand new expensive baseball park for baseball games with ample parking. Batting cages and also pet bags for dogs clean up disposal. BBQ with covered owning with pits for cooking. I do see soccer games/tournaments the kids using and being played in the open field. Sidewalk also goes completely around the entire park. Highly recommend! read more
