I've been to this park numerous times and have been coming here for years. However, I haven't returned in quite some time... several years to be exact. It looks as though the park has the typical/normal wear and tear of any park that's been around for years in this harsh desert climate. With that being said it's still a pretty good park. They have restrooms, water fountains, two full tennis courts, a basketball court, Big and little kid playground areas, swing sets, a large properly maintenance grass field where lots of kids have been known to practice soccer in. They also have a fitness area as well as a jogging path that I've had the pleasure of using to burn off those pesky calories. Lastly, they have one gazebo area as well as a frequently visited ice cream truck. Hence the reason to burn off those calories, lol. read more

This is a great park with expansive walking trails and lots of park offerings like a playground, picnic areas, soccer area, etc. I feel like if you didn't live right here or know about it, you may miss out on how expansive this park truly is. It's a great spot for a workout and a long walk. The park is in beautiful condition, minus some trash overflowing throughout the park trash bins when I visited. It seemed busy with lots of people. The parking lot was full, but there was plenty of off street parking as well. A great upbeat vibe for a park with lots of active people here enjoying the outdoors. read more

A nice, clean, and relatively safe little park. I've enjoyed the walk path that outlines the park. It states that two laps is equal to one mile, incase you're curious. The park features a large green space, some charcoal grills and tables, a playground, basket ball court, and some exercise equipment. This park is conveniently located near a Sprouts and Cafe Lola, which makes for grabbing some treats and walking over for some enjoyment under the trees very easy. You can walk the trail behind the park, which connects to different parks- the closest being Majestic Bluff Park, I believe. Just a note that this park is by a loud car wash and a busy street, so just be mindful of that when visiting. read more

This is such a unique trail! I love starting at the parking lot across from Sprouts. The trail takes you through a paved walk across some different neighborhoods and mini parks as well. There tends to be some chalk art on the start of the trail leaving the initial park. The park itself is a good size and had a basketball court as well as some seating areas. This is a good workout if you walk the entire trail there and back to your park. There is not much shading though so it's better for an early morning walk or during the winter/spring/ fall season! read more

It was so great to find a park with some shade for my little ones to run around in. The playground is gated so it's nice to be able to let the kids run around and it has a lot of square footage so you can have multiple kiddos play in two different areas the park is sheeted throughout with large trees and it's nice and cool during those nice hot summer days. It's really close to Cafe and Lola and sprouts so it's nice to be able to pick up a little snack and then sit here and have a picnic. They do have plenty of trash cans all around so you can clean up after yourself and your puppy. We do love to bring our Great Danes to run around on the grass field normally early in the morning or late at night read more

It is a peaceful and relaxing trek, akin to a hidden waterfall. The park itself is a short walk across the street from Sprouts Farmers Market. My kids love this park because it's right near their Elem school. It has a variety of slides and things to play with. I personally love this park because: 1) it's gated and enclosed. It helps me feel a little safer. With 4 kids who have different interests it's harder to keep track of each one. With the gate I at least have a bigger peace of mind that they're nearby, I just have to make sure I find them as we play hide-and-seek. 2) it's right near the Sprouts shopping center, with Wendy's readily available when the kids get the munchies. Sometimes we go to Sprouts and get sushi and chips. Sometimes we get fast food. It's nice to have variety. 3) It has a peaceful jogger's path. I use the Adidas running app so according to my app with GPS that calculation isn't entirely accurate, you have to run a little further after the "2 laps = 1 mile" sidewalk markers to get your full mile in. But it's nice to have it engraved there for our members of the community who aren't as reliant on technology. 4) There's a fitness area near the Elem school. It gives me a chance to work out as my kids dig into the sand with their toys. 5) Last and definitely not least, there's a Pokémon Go gym and 3 poke stops here! I was very inactive last year due to my changed worked schedule but I'm finally back on the grind to be very best and coming here gives me an opportunity to do just that. Love coming here to play tennis. Park is open, spacious, clean, and dog owners actually pick up after their pups here. I also like that some of the trails lead into the nearby neighborhoods which is convenient if you live in the area. I feel safe at this park and it seems like most people look out for each other here which is a plus :-) read more

Just relaxing and going for a walk here. The park is a good size and is very clean and on the quiet side. Has a good size play area for kiddos. With plenty of green space. Has two tennis courts and one basket ball court I don't get a pic of. Also has abt 7 picnic tables 5 in the middle of park by play area rear of them on the walking trail. A quaint park that I chose for my morning run while in town and staying close by. It seemed quite new, or at least well maintained. It features a small amount of parking, facilities building, playground and a paved path around the circumference for visitors to run or walk. The path is engraved with "2 laps = 1 mile". While I started my run in the park, I eventually brought it out along a connected trail that extended about another mile out of the park. I've read this is part of a Nevada-wide trails system. It was very beautifully laid out with stones piled along a winding path altogether forming an aqueduct for when it rains really hard out here and the water has nowhere to go. Nearby the park is plenty of retail and food options, not to mention nicer, newer, upscale neighborhoods. Worth a visit whether you're just passing through from out of town or live close by. read more

This is a solid park in my book. I've been here quite a few times for play dates and my son enjoys his time here. 1. There's a large grass area to run and kick a ball around. It's good for dogs too, but please pick up after your pets. It's no fun to step in #2. 2. The playground has 2 jungle gyms, one is smaller than the other for the littles. It's not too crazy where you have to watch your child every second. 3. There's enough swings for everyone, but I wish it was just under the shade. 4. Bathrooms are fairly clean. 5. It's located close to restaurants and grocery stores, so it's easy to grab something to eat after. 6. My only negative is that there is a limited amount of parking. read more

Situated in the southwest Las Vegas valley, Nevada Trails Park is both a 10 acre park and a 1.63 mile (according to Cardio Trainer) paved walking path. Based on first-hand experience, this review discusses both the 10-acre park and the paved walking path. The 10-acre park: Nevada Trails Park is located in the southwest vicinity of Rainbow and Warm Springs Roads. It is in a rapidly developing area. In the last couple of years, the immediate area northeast of the park has rapidly transformed from a desert lot into a Metro Diner-anchored mall and a Sprouts. And in the rapidly changing landscape to the immediate east of the park, retail and restaurants are continuing to transform the desert. As a result where last year the park overlooked Rainbow Road, in the Fall of 2018, it is now difficult to set eyes on Nevada Trails Park from Rainbow Road. Only a few years new a couple of schools and residential communities also abut the park. With the sundry of rapid development surrounding Nevada Trails Park, it is nice that the shareholders of the community had the vision to create this park and the contiguous walking path. When I visit parks, I want to experience nature and the spiritual side of my personality. In other words I want to escape from the fast pace of the world. When I visit a park the one thing that can instantaneously shatter a relaxed state of mind is graffiti and vandalism. Fortunately there is very little of that here. What there is a lot of here are park amenities. To start things off the circumferential park proper trail leads to the recreation. It is a trail where two laps around equals a mile. As you will see soon, there are a lot more miles to acrue on the Nevada Trails adventure. Anyways, this walking trail connects to a basketball court, playgrounds, picnic tables, tennis courts, and other amenities. In the core of the walking path is open golf course green grass with a landscaped wash. As a hiker who has driven from Henderson to here, it's greatest amenity is the connection to the paved walking path. The paved walking path: If you follow my reviews or are my friend, you would know that hiking is one of my passions. With hiking comes traditions. Recently, a mid September tradition is hiking this trail. Towards the end of a typical brutal hot Las Vegas summer this has been a leading hike at desert elevation. It is easy, the surface is flat, and it is approximately 1.63 miles each way. A bonus is now that Sprouts is open, I could park in their vast parking lot, buy a cold water, and hit the trail. The walking path starts at the southwest of the park. From there, it travels in a southwest direction crossing Robindale then ultimately concluding at Buffalo. To give you some perspective of the east to west distance, it is equal distance to traveling on the 215 between the Buffalo and Rainbow exits. Just like the 10-acre park, it is clean and generally free of graffiti. The landscape wash that cut through the 10-acre park resides parellel to the trail providing attractive xeorscaping and a buffer between the homes. From the park proper, Victorian style lamp posts border the concrete walkway weaving along a wash between the Nevada Trails residential communities. This is a landscape that keeps me in a relaxed state of mind. The many trail users many with their canines appear to be in the same state. There is a tempory gap in the trail requiring a short walk along the Majestic Bluff Road sidewalk. At the time of this writing, rapid development is transforming the lot that makes the trail discontinuous for a short distance. I am hopeful that the new development incorporates completion of the gap. The trail then joins a scenic community park with lots of shade before returning to paralleling the wash southwest. A relatively short distance is the major flaw. That flaw is crossing against the four lane Robindale Road minus a traffic control device. This requires observance and speed. I ask, "How can they build a Sprouts in a few months but are so slow to install a traffic control device?" After the trail user such as me risks their life crossing a busy four lane road, they will rejoin the trail in one more scenic park with shade and a playground. This is Robindale Park. In a short distance, it passes by an apartment community. Ultimately without any signs, it concludes at Buffalo Road. According to my Cardio Trainer app this is a 1.63 mile hike. At this point I pause for a few minutes. This is not a hike with a majestic ending. There is nothing spectacular to see from the trails conclusion at Buffalo. At this point, it is time to walk back to the 10-acre. What is neat is that back at the park proper you can extend the hike an additional mile by going around the 0..5 mile park proper walking path two times. What is more neat is following up the adventure with an awesome post-hike meal in one of the many restaurants nearby. Nevada Trails Park For the World (FTW)!!! read more

This park has a lot going on for anyone that wants to play and relax outside! Nice covered picnic area with 2 BBQ grills nearby, kids play area with swings, basketball and tennis courts. Big open grassy fields to toss frisbees, football, balls for the dogs to chase after, even fly a kite on a breezy day. Plus extra BBQ grills if the main covered picnic area is already taken (first come first serve, no reservations). Come out spend a chill moment with friends, maybe serendipitously bump into ex-coworkers that you have not seen in person in a year or two (that's what happened to us over the windy weekend), or let the 4-legged kids run about and burn off some of their gainz. Just be a good neighbor and clean up and discard your trash when you are done. Which helps to maintain the family-friendly nature of this public facility for all to enjoy. Sure, there may be a few kids smoking weed in the bathroom stall, but overall a safe place for community members of all ages to enjoy. Let's all do our part to keep it that way and show that if we collectively try, we can have nice things. Peace out on another hump day! P.S. A nice park situated between two schools and backing up against Nevada Trails residential community. The park has great open grassy fields for the dogs or activities, plenty of covered benches for picnics or parties and two playgrounds for different age groups. The two featured tennis courts are a nice to have but the surface was built uneven which would make it challenging to play on. Overall, a nice park for dogs and kids. read more

This is a very nice park. My favorite thing is that the playground is enclosed. The playground could use some updates but it's still super fun for the kids. I don't see anything broken or dangerous. There is a walking path and a nice rock river. Very pretty, especially after it rains. You can see the water running in between the rocks. It's located next to a school so beware of pick up and dismal, parking can get pretty hectic. People love bringing their dogs here so there is plenty of dogs around. They have a large sand area that is intended to be used as a workout part of the park. After school kids take over that so that's also something to consider. There are a good amount of trees around the walking/ running path. They have a small area next to the playground where you can hold a party. It's fairly small and always busy so Maybe look into reserving the area if you want to use it for a party. The people that frequent this place seem very nice. I've had two bad moments here with rowdy high schoolers. But maybe it's because of the cold but I haven't witnessed that for a while. Thats another reason why I love the gated playground, it's just safer and gives parents a little breathing room. read more

How did I not know this park was here? I noticed the kids play area a few times from the road but thought it was part of the school nearby. The grassy area is really large for such a small park. The children's area is gated so your little tikes can't get away and keeps dogs and weirdos out. Park has bathroom facilities and water fountain. Charcoal grills. Some benches, picnic tables under a pavilion. A tennis court and fitness course for the active folk. Close to busy streets but far enough to feel safe from cars zooming by. read more

This is a very nice mini-park if you want to get a good walk/run. There's a couple of doggies running around, some greens, and a small area for kids to play. 2 laps = 1 mile. It's nice to be running outside in open air instead of staring at the same music videos on loop for 1 hour at the gym. Time flies by much quicker running (what i mean is more like 80% walking, 20% running) here, and I was able to get in 5 miles after taking a hiatus from any physical movement for 2 months. It gets a bit crowded on the streets with parents parking their cars when the elementary school next door gets out. Even then, it was not a disruption to the main area where people are doing their respective exercises. read more

I really dig this little park. I've been coming here for years with my girls, and it never disappoints. I remember years ago, there was some crime from the local high school, but that's been handled efficiently by the school police to ensure the safety of the students at the school next door to the park as well as the park-goers. This park has a nice lap layout, if you run 2x it equals up to 1 mile. It's partly shady and the other half is a nice run around the grassy area of the park. Now, wrapping around the basketball hoops, and to the tennis courts is where the shade begins but the park is so well kept, it's a breeze to walk/jog/run through. The park itself has 2 kid play areas. One is for the younger kids, with smaller slides, ladders & stairs for the kiddos. The bigger section has higher slides, ladders, and the pole to slide down. It amazes me to see my own child & the crazy things she does on the jungle gym. She's probably going to be a gymnast one day in the Olympics! I love when the hula hoppers are doing their thing, people are playing fetch with their pups & families are enjoying time outdoors. This park also has a nice shaded area with benches, with a BBQ nearby for a nice day out at the park. read more

Honestly for a small neighborhood park... This park has everything. It's family friendly... Dog friendly... And walker (not that kind of walker... The exercising kind ;P) and runner friendly. And it has a playground for the little kids...A basketball court for the older kids and the not so old kids... And an exercise area with monkey bars and one of those ab crunch boards and a few other things... And a large grassy area for the kids to run around and for our 4 legged kids to run around as well. :D This is one of the few parks that I've been to where there really is not dog poop everywhere. Maybe because it's near houses and 2 schools and they want to keep that park clean... But in all the times I've been here not alot of dog poop... (Thank goodness!!! :)) And the park has been really clean... And the bathrooms are actually maintained. And 2 laps around the park equals 1 mile!! So if you are training for a race... It's a great place to train. :) It's close to my house... only about a 5 minute drive and as long as the weather holds I'll keep on training here. :) read more

Fell in love with this little park. It's on the smaller side compared to mountains edge regional and exploration park but I kind of like that about it. It made for a perfect morning spent with family and our fur baby. There is a sign that says dogs must be on leash but everyone lets their dog off leash in the field. Love the walking trail that goes back into the Nevada trails neighborhood. This is a lovely park. Can't wait to go back. read more

I've been to this park many times for so many reasons be it my dogs, basketball, playing catch or playing Pokémon go. The field is huge and open so it's nice to bring my pups to run around with them. Just be wary because it isn't a dog park so they need to be on a leash. Ive seen some people get tickets for not having there dogs on a leash. read more

Nice if you're looking for basketball and tennis courts, however, it's a bit on the small side. I prefer Mountain's Edge Regional park--not too far from this one and is much more spread out with more activities and trails. read more

Great park and I can walk to it :) We always take advantage of our waking trails but I love the treat of this big nice park. I love to walk my doggies in this area and the green grass is always nice. People actually pick up after their doggies here. They do have lots of waste bag posts available. I love the fact there is fitness equipment there. If I can work up to doing multiple pull ups I will be there everyday :) looks super fun! I went there tonight and there was a huge basketball game being played. It's always nice to see the soccer games/practice going on too! The one thing that I would suggest is two fenced in areas for doggies! That would rock! read more

This park is so much more than a playground. It has the walking track around the park itself and 2 laps is 1 mile. There is a paved walking path on the south side that is actually a wash that is really well done. It has wide concrete that meanders back and forth with trees and lights. There is one section that is about 50 yards that is gravel but if you cross over that spot you have the path continue on. It runs from Rainbow to Buffalo. read more

This is a big beautiful park. I came here this weekend to get a workout in, since it was beautiful out. There was tons of people there doing the same, or walking their dogs, or just studying. They have all the amenities you need. It's a lot of fun to see all those people getting active. A lot of parks in Vegas look abandoned sometimes. read more

I like this park because it is conveniently located near me. It has 2 play ground areas, one with sand and one with mat underneath. It has a full length basketball court and a half mile running/walking trail. The main thing I hate about this park is the dogs off leashes and the owners who don't pick up after them. There are always dogs off leashes, & just because you love and trust your dog doesn't mean everyone does. LEASH YOUR DOGS!!! There's always poop on the sidewalks, which interferes with running comfortably. The park provides bags and trash cans to pick up after your dogs. PICK UP AFTER YOUR DOGS!
