There was no communication between the project manager and the actual crew, so work was done wrong or not according to our specifications. He kicked ass From the beginning of planning on adding an extra vent, getting class 4 shingles ( at a special with no extra charge -making our insurance premium go dow- say whatttt???), to the workers coming to our house and working so fast! We even left a cooler with ice and water for the workers. When we came home, they returned our cooler to us empty, dry, and cleaned. Since I've owned the home, shingles have been falling off the roof every year. I called them several times over the past 3 years, and to be fair, they did come a few times to fix the fallen shingles. When another shingle just fell off recently, despite promises of "getting back to me shortly" they stopped responding to my calls, texts, and emails. It's now been FIVE weeks that I've been trying to get in touch with them. it appears Tru-Tek is no longer honoring their warranty. In summary, the company did a shoddy roofing job, does not return calls, and does not honor their warranty. I will leave it up to you as to whether this is a company you want to do business with. I am happy to update this review if Tru-Tek finally gets back to me and honors their warranty.

With so many houses in Colorado needing roof work we scheduled it for the first week in October, the soonest all the materials would be here. Within 3 days of the material arriving Ian's crew was here to get the repairs done. His crew was professional, quick and did an AMAZING job. Unfortunately our bank held on to the check they were supposed to endorse for 5 months. Ian and I kept in contact over what we were doing to expedite this process. Ian was so fantastic and patient with our situation, he went above and beyond with communicating with our credit union. We love the work done, and thank you so much for working with the crazy complications of Elevations Credit Union. They took a good look and showed me with pictures that my roof did take a couple hits, but not enough to warrant a claim. They were honest and up front and I cannot tell you how hard that is to come by anymore. The #1 problem most consumers have is the cleanliness of the crew while working. DRS was impeccably clean throughout the process. Instead of just tossing debris off the side of the roof they made sure to either bag it up or throw it directly in the dumpster while demoing the old roof. I cannot find a single nail in my yard or driveway and if you've ever had a roof replaced you understand that is no easy thing to accomplish as a roofer. Also, the roof system they installed is flawless. My old roof had all kinds of areas where the shingles didn't overlap properly but that is not the case here. All of the flashing is super clean looking without any loose ends. I will not hesitate to recommend DRS in the future.
