The project included a half wall of granite behind the tub and granite counter tops in the master bath. In the guest bath we used quartzite on the vanity and on top of a small cabinet. Overall Performance: 1. Quick response, great communication and price. Cesar responded quickly and provided a very competitive quote. Good and timely communication is important to me and a must to avoid mistakes when doing projects that involve a lot of detail. Cesar quickly responded to all my questions, listened to what my vision was and personally came out on several occasions to review the project site. 2. Quality work and up for a challenge. Cesar is very experience and his team is very talented. I had one slab of granite that I wanted to flow seamlessly behind my freestanding tub. It was going to be tight and no room for error. The slab needed to be cut in half, flipping and taking pieces out of order from both sides, then perfectly matched on design to flow seamlessly. I also wanted a boarder backsplash of the same granite to go around the vanities. Other fabrication companies I quoted said it was not possible. Cesar took on the challenge and executed my vision perfectly. That's true talent and great craftsmanship! 3. Personal attention and hands on involvement. Cesar is very hands on for all his projects. He believes in quality over quantity and doing the job right the first time. Even with that said, he is very timely on getting the job done. He manages his schedule efficiently, effectively and meets all his schedules on time. I really appreciate this because when you have lots of trades coming in on a remodel, timing is everything to keep the schedule on track. In summary I would highly recommend Cesar (and we already have) for any type of stone fabrication and installations needs. The process was so much easier than I expected. Rod presented the development process and details in a very realistic manner. He didn't make any false promises or try to sell us on lots of unnecessary upgrades. The design phase of the ADU took a little time to come to completion because my mom continued to modify the floor plan and the finish out of the kitchen as we moved through the design phase. The team was very patient with my mom and helped us to come up with a design that best served her needs of her space. I like that they paid close attention to the practicalities of the bathroom and the storage in the unit. I think designer Irene did a great job in this area. The crew was very professional. The site was always cleaned up after each workday. Communication with the office was good throughout most of the construction process. One minor thing that impacted the project was the typical delays that there are with inspections. But this was not a problem for us as we were always made aware of when each inspection was scheduled and any resulting delays. My mom loves it and ADU honestly turned out better than I could have imagined.

The finished ADU is being used by my younger brother while he is in college, and it has turned out to be a real small home for him instead of just a small addition to our house. The folks at A+ were very forthcoming in their bid process and told us what to expect. As opposed to some of the other contractors that gave us a very general number that could change depending on when they got around to it, A+ spelled everything out for us and gave us a solid idea of what our garage conversion would cost. Our project manager Nick was pretty accessible before construction started and even more so once the work began. He was pretty prompt in returning my mom's calls. I also liked that the construction crew was consistently on site. I've heard of a lot of other contractors leaving a job to return days or even weeks later to complete more work. That didn't happen here. The finished ADU is very clean and modern. The mini-split is very functional. The insulation added to the garage is very noticeable on the hotter days and the completed ADU is very spacious and never feels closed in. My husband and I had a total kitchen remodel fourteen months ago. We chose all licensed and bonded installers as we figured they would provide a higher quality of work. In only five months, a few of the 24" x 24" porcelain tiles, which had been installed on the floors of our kitchen, laundryroom, diningroom and entryway, began to come loose and one of them cracked. The installer came out and replaced the cracked tiles to our satisfaction, however over the next year, nine more tiles became loose After trying to work it out with the licensed installer, we were forced to have an independent inspection performed to see how wide spread the problem was. After having five different Tile contractors out, we were appalled that only one out of the five would we hire. Sam, from Brothers IC met with us and took the time to inspect the previous install.
