It was a unique experience. Bob did a clean demo and strong underlay. Pete got the measurements right and whoever worked the patterning layout got the veining matched well across a large multi level island. The installers, Juan and Carlos, did a great job on the seams and backsplash. Follow-up by Pete to correct a minor concern was timely and effective. My wife and I had talked about this kitchen upgrade for years, but had been scared off by the tales from family and acquaintances of year(s) long construction. I went in and spoke with Gigi. They didn't have the granite I liked and I felt my hopes deflate. And then she directed me to a large format porcelain tile I had not seen before. It was perfect! And it was reasonably priced (no more than an ugly quartz would cost. Gigi gave me the info and price and worked out how much I would need. I took that to my contractor to be sure it worked for him. I came back two weeks later to buy the tile and dealt with Jon. I found both Gigi and Jon to be very helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. There was no uppity attitude or rudeness. There were a couple challenging places around the stairs where the installers really had to work to make it look seamless. They did an awesome job. Installers: We had a team of five men and they were professional and enjoyable. Very friendly, very respectful and cleaned up each of the two days they were here. They were a pleasure to have. Customer satisfaction: There were a couple of difficult areas due to the home's structure. In both cases, they were completely focused on a solution we would be satisfied with. Value: We obtained three different estimates for this 2400 square-foot job and SAWS was nearly exactly in the middle. We felt the value was excellent. Initially there was a bit of a challenge with communication, however that ended up being completely inconsequential. Completely satisfied with the work, the timeline, the professionalism and the value. I absolutely recommend them for baseboard installation!

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Jerry or AA Peter Flooring. He is nice and affordable but the…read morework he does is subpar. We bought a home and needed the wood floor refinished. We agreed on the work he would do and the price. He was sanding the floors, repairing where the prior owners dog peed on the wood and cutting out space for our appliances and new kitchen cabinets. We were very specific with the cutout measurements and talked him through what we needed. He told us to pick the stain and he would get it which we did. After he sanded and stained we were so excited to check it out. Through the window we could see big swoosh marks from where he poured the stain down on the wood. He had to totally re-sand it and restain it, saying he hadn't ever worked with the stain we chose. After the second time sanding and staining, we went to look at it again and walked the house putting tape everywhere that needed attention. There were 15 places where the stain was messy or actual holes in the floor where he hadn't filled in. We were honest with him and again he went in and fixed it all. Even though we were now very behind scheduled due to him having to redo everything. Which led to us not being able to move our stuff in as planned and had the movers put everything in the garage instead of in the house since the floors still needed time to cure. Even after all of that, we ended up being happy with how it turned out until we were installing the kitchen cabinets and the wood floor cutouts were not done correctly. We had him come back and he said there was nothing he could do and suggested we buy different size cabinets which was an additional cost. The last thing that sealed the poor rating is he promised to provide a piece of wood that was stained to match for a threshold and he never provided it. After many attempts to meet him to get it, he eventually stopped returning my call or replying to text messages. I would not recommend using AA Peter Flooring unless you are okay micromanaging him and his team and not paying him until everything he promised has been given, which is what we should have done.

They did not stand by there mistakes when they took it upon themselves to change the size of the cabinets that were ordered. I basically had to take pictures and send them to the designer when they showed up damaged. 6 deliveries ti my house we finally got the cabinets. I would never recommend this company to purchase kitchen cabinets and NEVER Kemper cabinet maker. There is so much more I can't even explain it all. So disappointed on how we were treated in the end.
