Peter and Riana are great to work with. We moved from Danville to Austin and moved two cars; one SUV and a sedan. Both cars were delivered in three days and they were in the same great shape as when they left. The drivers were both pros and did a great job. Riana followed up to see that the cars were picked up and delivered on time. The price was a bit higher than some of the internet companies but both my realtor, the inspectors, and the mortgage agents recommended them. Transported my Acura MDX with All American from NJ to CA, so happy I did that. The process was smooth with me working out with their customer service a date for pickup and target delivery range. Andre from Bravo Express (I believe they AATT are brokers but they only work with drivers who they've know for many years) called up 1 day ahead and also 1 hour before pickup. He carefully inspected my car (helps if you have the car washed beforehand if you want a clean inspection sign off) and loaded onto his truck. Similarly drop off was a breeze, again a 1 day heads up followed by a 1 hour heads up before actual delivery. Driver finds a safe pick up/drop off spot to do all this if any of it happens in a city as was the case in my pick up. Also another plus is that they take payments through credit cards unlike other companies which want checks/MO etc. All in all really happy with my decision to ship through All American! read more

About couple month ago I moved form California to Florida and had to ship both our cars. I had a hard time to choose what company to use for moving the cars as most of the reviews sounded like nightmare. I can't say enough good things about these auto shippers. I had a very bad experience the last time I shipped a vehicle. I was very leery of every shipper I got quotes from. In the end, I selected this company and they were incredible; customer service you dream about...Krystal is outstanding, our driver Victor - nicest guy ever. Our driver stayed in touch and gave accurate estimate times for loading and unloading. They weren't the cheapest but they weren't the most expensive either. Another important thing - they didn't want a deposit. They didn't drive me crazy with emails and phone calls and they were very helpful with scheduling. I even changed my dates and asked for a very quick pick up and they were able to accommodate my needs. Then to make their life more difficult I changed payment methods. These people came through for me when I needed them. If you need an auto shipper who does what they say they will do these are the guys to call. Amazing service throughout the auto transport process. Administrative assistance is amazing and helped coordinate transport to my schedule. I was worried that they'd be issues since my vehicle is older (1979 240D) but my worries were put at ease when scheduling was so easy. UPDATE: An Exec from AAAT called me personally to apologize and sent a small gift to my family. While this was late (my insurance already compensated me), it was greatly appreciated. I hope some of their procedures are updated from this experience. Do NOT Choose All American Auto Transport! If you are looking for a car transport company you are probably like my wife and I - looking for the best deal from a reputable provider. Well, unfortunately for my family we fell for the lies of All American Auto Transport (AAAT) and I hope you will not make the same mistake. First, we were shopping for a good provider. You know the drill, (a) no car transfers, one truck only, (b) no sub-contractors, and (c) responsible employees. We believed the sales pitch we heard from the AAAT sale guy and their quote was reasonable (not the cheapest, but in the ballpark) - and we figured we'd pay a little premium for the added peace of mind. I wish I could take that mistake back! Here's what happened. We watched my 2006 Grand Cherokee loaded up on the truck (in the bay area), the driver seemed nice, he was on time and it seemed like a good start. However, he told us that he made it to the east coast about 1/2 day earlier than scheduled and needed to drop our car off in a different state. We presumed we would get our car the next day and all would be okay. We ended up waiting 4 additional days after the scheduled delivery date, and when the car was delivered is was delivered by a sub-contractor of a sub-contractor and the delivery paperwork didn't even have any AAAT information on it. We were so happy to see the Jeep that we almost signed off without noticing that the front bumper didn't look quite right - there was a larger than I remembered gap between the bumper and the headlights. So, I duly noted this on the paperwork and took the Jeep. I was sure that something was wrong, but couldn't put my finger on it. Luckily I had taken pictures and video of the Jeep on the day it was picked up by AAAT so I started to watch the video and look at the photos, sure enough the bumper looked fine in my pictures. But the real clincher was that in my video you can clearly see a bunch of scrapes and scratches under the front bumper (you know, where the careless parking job scrapes the concrete block in a parking spot) -- BUT, on my Jeep now, after AAAT had it, there were NO MORE SCRATCHES! Obviously, some repairs and/or painting had been done on my Jeep without AAAT telling me. Furious, and lied to, I immediately took the Jeep to my local dealer. The Dealer told me that the body didn't look straight, we compared to similar model years and saw the difference. They referred me to reputable body shop and they found even more damning evidence. The Body Shop found masking tape under the hood, front fender, a non-factory headlamp, and poor paint job on the fender and bumper. Their conclusion was that the Jeep had been wrecked and improperly repaired. They couldn't tell how bad the wreck was, but knew that the fender, bumper, headlamp, and front facsia had been replaced and/or repaired. Another Body Shop found precisely the same things and had a similar quote. So at this point I am still willing to give AAAT the benefit of the doubt - let's see how they handle this problem. Not good. I was immediately on top of things on my end, I had two estimates, photos, a video, and all the paperwork within 3 days of recieving my Jeep. However, after almost 3 MONTHS of run-around from the people at AAAT my insurance company is just going to pay me directly and take AAAT mediation (Subrogation) since they won't admit any wrong or pay up. At All American, I had been dealing with Margerie and Vanesa Mejia - both seemed nice enough when I was able to reach them on the phone but wouldn't return phone calls or give any information about what was happening. All I got was vague information like, "our claims department had email problems so we had to send them the photos..." or "your claim seems legitimate and we should hear back from our claims department next week..." I got junk information like that from them for weeks on end. Finally, my insurance company took over the negotiations and got nowhere with AAAT and now they are taking it to the next Legal level. Thank goodness I have a good insurance carrier because I would have been screwed by All American Auto Transport. I am no gold-digger, I just want my Jeep to be in the condition it was in when they receieved it. Not with some half-a** repairs done without my permission and without notifying me. I am a reasonable person, and I understand that accidents happen, I just expect that decent people take responsibility for accidents that happen on their watch. I had a great experience using All American Trucking & Transport shipping from CA to NJ. Thing I liked most was option to drop off car to their facility that helped me to finish all my pending things before I started my move without waiting for pickup window. My car was delivered within 2 weeks. The day my car was scheduled to arrive driver notified me in the afternoon. He dropped off car within the window provided in evening. Only thing for improvement I could think is it would have been perfect service if the customer service representative had notified me couple days in advance before the car delivery date. That would have helped to make necessary payment arrangements beforehand. I understand holidays can be overwhelming with lot of customers, so I'm not too bummed with that. Although this company charges couple hundred dollars more than all the quotes I received, I would still recommend this company for car move. It's worth it! read more

I booked this company to move my car from Bay area to Houston. I read all the reviews on the net and finally choose to pay a higher amount to ship my car assuming that this is the best company in town. Which is not. After all the booking and all, when the driver came to pick up my car ,he started asking money from us, because I had 1 suitcase put in my truck, which we had already got the permission from the Transport company, but when the truck arrived the transport company office got closed so we had to pay some money to driver, as he was threatening us unless we pay to money or he will leave my car here itself. He was awful. But it did not end here, when I got my car got delivered, to my shock, it had some paint/oil spilled on my car and covered with dust from desert. I was heartbroken to see my car in such shape, to cut the story short, after almost speaking to the office they finally agreed to get the car repaired from MACCO. All in all this wasn;t a good experience for me. I chose best company but still has such issues. In this incident one thing was good that the Person form the transport company - Justin Baron was very considerate. They need to make sure that the drivers that they hire needs to be nice and delivers good service to customers as promised by the sales rep. Learning's, Driver of the truck matters a lot, how he handles your car. I am not sure if all the drivers of All American truck and transport are like the one I got. read more

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! Justin told us there would be no problems at all, but there were many! When we told him about the damage he immediately took the drivers side over ours. Driver did not speak English, did not give us our 24 hour notice, damaged our car and marked things on the Bill of Laden that weren't there. Then he snuck behind the person he was told to wait on to do a drop off inspection and got a new person to sign for us. Unbelievable! Rep assigned to us did nothing to keep us in the loop, even told us car would arrive on a Thursday, when it arrived on a Monday morning. They also told us our C card would be charged after we inspected our car at drop off and they actually charged it the very same day they picked our car up! I shipped my car to Washington, DC in June, but only just remembered that I wanted to write a comment. The good points: everyone was unfailingly polite, the car arrived undamaged, the price was fair, and All American lets you put 75 pounds of stuff in the trunk, which many companies do not. Now for the bad points. I got the sense that employees do not coordinate properly with each other at HQ or with the West Coast and East Coast dispatchers. They gave me a window when my car would be picked up at my home, but I had to make a couple of last minute panicky calls right before I was to leave by plane for the East Coast. Admitting that they screwed up, they waived the $100 pick up charge. The real trouble happened during the trip. Apparently, no one works at HQ or at the dispatch stations on the weekend or picks up phone messages. THIS IS A VERY SERIOUS CONSIDERATION IF YOU ARE SHIPPING A LONG DISTANCE. My car was late and I couldn't find out why. No one called me back, probably because they didn't know the answer, but at least they could have told me that. Long story short, the transport truck broke down in Ohio over the weekend, and the repair shop couldn't get the necessary part until Tuesday following. Two days past the promised delivery date, with no word from the company, All American finally got a message to the driver who finally saw fit to contact me. I didn't need the car, but I spent a lot of time juggling my work schedule and sitting around thinking that I might have to go out to the suburbs on short notice to meet the driver when he finally arrived - which I did, as it turned out. Maybe this was an unusual occurrence; however, I recommend that you make sure that your shipper has someone on duty to talk to you 24/7 while your car is enroute. read more

Do NOT use this company to transport a car! I had an SUV shipped from Burlingame to Brewster NY and they took over a week longer than it took Bekins -AMS Relocation to move our entire 3 bedroom home from San Francisco! They used the following excuses, 1) winter storms 2) the local transport guy got injured, 3) scheduling of other cars, 4) our SUV being loaded first and having to be moved, you get the picture. We came to find out that our SUV was about 40 minutes away from us at one point but then, the driver continued on to New Hampshire and came back about 4 days later to drop off the car. Their communication is strong when getting your business but once your car is on, its hit and miss. I should have known better when they couldn't figure out the exact date they were going to ship it out. The driver was apologetic but that's about as good as it got. I am disappointed and feel a little bit deceived by the advertising of this company. I know some hassles are to be expected when shipping a car cross-country, which is what we did. I decided to go with All American despite their much higher prices, because I figured if I paid more I would be getting better service and get my car on time. BTW because we shipped 2 cars, we could have saved $600-800 by going with a cheaper company. First off, I dropped off my car early 7/8 and have just now received it late today, 7/27. When we first realized our cars would be late, we gave them a call and remembered they advertised rental car reimbursement if your car was late. We decided to bring this up since we would need to rent a car. It turns out, they only reimburse you when 14 days have passed since the vehicle's SHIPMENT...not the day you drop it off. The day THEY CHOOSE to ship it out. Since they did not ship until 7/15 (or something), we were not able to get reimbursement for our rental. I find that totally ridiculous because obviously, if I had the choice, I would've chosen an earlier date to ship it out. Why should I have to be penalized because they waited a week to ship?? Second, they claim that you are only billed once you receive your cars. This is not true as we were billed several days ago before we received our cars. We also have yet to receive an invoice for this bill, which I have requested 3 times (via phone and email) so far. Last thing is the annoyances with the delivery. They claim your driver will call you to set up a time to deliver. This isn't really true. Our driver did call us, but just was like I'll be there in an hour. A couple hours later, he showed up. It's not like you schedule a time to your convenience. Also, like another reviewer, I find that my car smells funny now and clearly someone smoked in it. That bugs me because I'm not a smoker, no one smokes in my car, and like most non-smokers, I don't like the smell of cigarettes. I'm hoping a thorough cleaning job will solve this, but it is just something that irks me. Finally, I will admit that setting up your order and dropping your car is extremely easy and convenient. They are fairly quick to reach and return your calls. It is nice that you can drop off after hours and get a free taxi to SFO. Only annoyances have cropped up have been since our car was on its way. ETA: I also just noticed that somehow the back of one of the car's side view mirrors came off, but didn't see it when they dropped it off ahhh ETA 2: I just saw the owner's comments and that is all great, but none of this was ever made known to us, ESPECIALLY not the fact that the truck broke down on the trip. Obviously the communication by this company is a huge issue. Additionally, yes, we got an order form. But most people need INVOICES for reimbursement, as companies will not simply accept an unpaid order form. Regardless, I don't understand why it would take multiple requests for a company to simply email an invoice to us. Finally, that whole thing about closing your air vents is really strange considering we received no information from them on the matter BEFORE shipping our cars out. Used All American to move the car from CA to NJ. Process was easy, delivery was as scheduled, condition of exterior was fine. Concerns: I was in a rush dropping the car off - moving my family across country. Didn't notice that they don't note mileage on the contract - my mileage was in the 18 to 19000 mile range. Upon delivery I had 20,900. They also didn't inform me that they outsource to different companies for actual transport - I only noticed this on the paperwork. While this may not be too concerning, it becomes more if an issue as they don't disclose it, and the miles are off by quite a bit. When calling them, they had pre-designed answers for these issues. If you use these guys, make sure you note your mileage. read more

If I say anything less then a 5 start and Amazing service it will not be the justice. My car was picked up in time delivered in 3 days from SFO to Plano TX. The day after posting my review, I was contacted by the manager saying he had read my Yelp review, and apologized for the events that transpired when I picked up my car. I appreciated the quick response to my Yelp review (to be honest, I wasn't expecting one at all), and that he did not try to make excuses (as I feel many customer service reps do). Instead, he said he had spoken to the driver and confirmed the events of my posting. He offered me a small compensation for my troubles. I definitely can't complain about the customer service I've received from this place, as they've always been friendly and prompt. A few days later, I received a follow-up message on Yelp from the manager in which he again apologized and then asked me (very politely) to update my review. I had already planned to do so, but I don't necessarily think that it's the company's place to make that request. According to the rating system he laid out for me, each star is worth 20%. "We view yelp reviews as the following: five stars means we knocked it out of the park 100% rating. Four stars is an 80% meaning we did the job we were hired to do, but may have had a small service failure from which we recovered. Three stars is 60%, which typically indicates more than one service failure, or an overall experience that would result in not recommending us to a friend. One or Two stars are typically viewed as though a serious difference of opinion existed between us and the shipper, to which we could not find a remedy." However, given that Yelp states that 3-stars is "A-OK" and 4 is "Yay! I'm a Fan." I don't see it this way. My rating scale, which I think aligns more with the Yelp descriptions: 5 = A+, 4 = B, 3 = C, 2 = D, 1 = F. So, I'm updating my review to 3 stars. My car arrived unharmed within the specified amount of time. The customer service by the office staff is great, but given the hiccup that occurred during the pickup, I'd say this company is okay. read more

Best company I've ever worked with. I didn't know anything about how to transport a car. It had to go from Bay Area CA to Washington DC. They explained the procedure. I made a few calls back with questions. They got right back to me. I gave them the destination, they looked it up to see if the BIG truck could drive on that street. She was informative, efficient, and was able to work with me when my moving dates changed a couple of times. After doing a lot of research online, I came across this company as a highly reliable/rated car transporter. Mike was really helpful and very accommodating. He arranged the car (2013 Mazda) to be picked up on Sunday from NY and be delivered on Thursday to the Bay Area (SF). One of the drivers calls me (they were 2 man driving team) a day before to ask if 12PM-4PM was a suitable pick up time frame. The driver calls me an hour before hand that they were on their way. The driver arrives in an hour and he was really nice. Monday night they call me that they were ahead of schedule and would deliver late Tuesday. Before delivery, they call me an hour before hand to let me know that they were on their way. The car gets delivered without any scratches or damage to the vehicle. The drivers were really courteous and nice. The fact that they were able to drive across country in 2-3 days not only impressed me but also their professionalism. I received this quote by phone, and email from All American to ship a car across country: "The price to ship your 2000 Lexus ES 300 on Open carrier from Queen, NY to Burlingame, CA is $1,498. Please keep in mind, this price is ALL INCLUSIVE and we NEVER charge a deposit!" That's a significantly higher price than other carriers, but the company was well reviewed, so I called again a few days later to schedule a pick up, and was then informed that there was an additional charge of $250, unless I drove the car to New Jersey to drop it off. This seemed like a surprising interpretation of "ALL INCLUSIVE" and "from Queens, NY", although the supervisor I spoke to repeatedly tried to convince to me that "from Queens NY" actually means your car will be delivered from New York to California, if the customer drives it to New Jersey first. Finally she told me that she would track down the original agent and call me back. No one ever called. If this is the way this company deals with customers before pickup, I definitely would not hand over my vehicle to them. read more

Although, the rates were slightly higher (but reasonable) than other quotes I received, the customer service and reliability will always win me over, therefore, I was very confident about my selection.
