We moved from MA to San Francisco, CA and used All American. Our car was new, just one month old and we were concerned that it arrive safely and without any scratches, etc. Delivery in downtown San Francisco isn't easy but our driver made it look easy! He was great, working with the company to coordinate the car shipment was as good as such a move can be and when the car arrived it was in as good a shape as the day they picked it up. They are not the least expensive but their care, full insurance on the car and assistance in scheduling the pick-up were above and beyond any other place I called. I shipped my car across the country (MD to CA). I had a wonderful experience with All American Transport. Although they were a bit expensive, they really took care of me. They asked about and understood my story and problems. The car was picked up and delivered exactly within the time frame that was quoted. The driver was a pleasure to work with and was very professional. All American was very good about communicating the status of the car which kept my mind at ease. The car arrived in CA before I did and they offered to store the car in their secure parking lot until I could retrieve it for no additional cost. When I came to pick up the car, it had a few surface scratches from trees. They immediately offered to pay for the buffing of the car to eliminate any damage. I used All American Trucking & Transport in order to move my VW Golf from San Francisco to Philadelphia. I arranged everything over email with Mike who was quick to respond and very professional. My plan was to go on vacation for 2-3 weeks between moving out from SF and moving in to Philly, so I needed to store the car somewhere in between. Mike offered me the complimentary service of just parking my car in the lot in front of their office until the time came for them to transport it, which was very convenient. The day when I was set to fly out from SFO, I brought my car to their office in Burlingame. Ian was the one to go around the car with me to check note any pre-existing damages while explaining to me what his notes where all about. I had filled up the trunk with some not-too-heavy stuff of mine, which he said was fine. The whole process took no more than a few minutes, along with the paperwork and I was ready to go. They also covered most of the cost for my taxi ride to SFO. About a month later, I received a phone call from Alexandria letting me know that the car was soon to be delivered. I had provided them with a 5 day delivery window and the delivery was on time. One day before the delivery, Alex, the truck driver, called me so that we can figure out where to meet for the delivery. We had to meet at a parking lot which was a 10 minutes drive south of downtown Philadelphia because the truck was way too big to drive into the city. He called me again the next morning to finalize the time. The actual delivery took place a couple of hours later than the initially planned time, which was the only inconvenience, but he made sure to call me 15 minutes before his arrival so that I could take an Uber down to the parking lot. The car was a bit dusty, which makes sense after a cross country drive, but with no damage whatsoever. Alex was very pleasant while he was unloading my car and he was telling me stories regarding interesting car delivery experiences that he'd had in the past. After the delivery was completed and I signed off, Alexandria called me again to verify that everything went smoothly. I recently relocated from Hawaii to Las Vegas, and the only way for me to ship was from Matson Honolulu to Long Beach, CA. I needed a company that can help me move my vehicle to Las Vegas, NV. I was originally referred to them from another company, however, I am super pleased with their services. Kyrstal not only track my vehicle, but touch bases with me from time to time throughout the shipment process to Long Beach. After it has arrived to Long Beach, she also kept on following up with me to let her know once I receive a call from Matson stating my vehicle is available for pick up. I said "Not yet..but will let you know as soon as they call. :) " Kyrstal sounded like she was the one waiting for HER vehicle to arrive, rather than mines. I was beyond pleased of her services once again! Believe it or not, after I did receive a phone call from Matson the following day that my vehicle being available...Guess who called me 1 minute later? Kyrstal again! I was shocked! She followed up on my vehicle on the dot to ensure that she can schedule a driver to pick it up at Matson asap so I can get my car quicker since I was doing a rental car that costed me a lot.... Once that was done. Yes, she followed up with me again the following day that my vehicle has been picked up and on the way to me within 48 hours! The next day, I received couple calls from the driver stating the delivery time of my vehicle. Once he came and unloaded my vehicle, which was exactly the time he said he would. I cannot be any happier! It is exactly the same I way i shipped it , minus some dead bugs from the wind. No damage at all! I even said, "wow, sweet! just the way i shipped it from Hawaii" , the driver replied back "yep! that is how it should be, isn't it?" and I laughed out loud. Cannot be any more true than that. Once again, from Matson Honolulu to American Transport to Me in Vegas was nothing but swift and painless. After I received my vehicle,... guess what guys? I had a very positive experience using All American to ship my car from Southern California to South Florida earlier this year. I worked with Ashton. He was very helpful and answered all of my questions. There was only one small hiccup. The company that they brokered with suddenly called to tell me that they were going to pick up the car within an hour. I panicked because I did not have the car ready to go! But I knew from my conversation with Ashton that the dispatcher was supposed to provide at least one day's notice, not one hour. I called Ashton right away and he set everything straight immediately. Once my pick-up was properly arranged for the following day, everything went smoothly. My car arrived cross country much more quickly than I expected (Less than a week!) and was in great condition. Cross Country CA to MO.. I was inundated with text, phone calls and emails. Drove me NUTS!!. However i looked at many places and lots of different prices and kept coming back to All American Trucking. I spoke with Lupita (probably drove her crazy with all the questions every day for about a week) she gave me a fair quote (other places were cheaper but they were rude and wouldn't take No for an answer, so a little more money for better service i think was worth it) I was able to drop vehicle off over a week before it was set to be moved (due to me having to leave sooner). Once i dropped it off, i received an email from Riana who god love her did her best to keep me informed on where my vehicle was during the transport however it left on a Friday and arrived on a Monday. she really didn't have time to keep me updated. But she was extremely helpful and very courteous on the phone. Vehicle arrived exactly as i left it. Moving a vehicle and a family across the country is stressful, but they truly made that task much easier. I am very pleased with this company! I had my Lexus SUV moved from San Diego, CA to Cincinnati, OH and I think it literally came in about a week (so fast!) The lady who worked there kept me up to date on the status of the move and called in to make sure everything was okay etc. I was very nervous about my car but it came back in good condition. I think the cost was a bit pricier than some of the other companies but I truly believe that you get what you pay for. We were very disappointed with our All American Trucking & Transport Inc. experience. I had called and made our car shipping reservation a couple of weeks in advance. When I made the reservation Justin told me that our credit card would be charged when the car was delivered to our destination. When we dropped our car off at 8:00am with the receptionist we asked her when our credit card would be charged, just to double check. She said it would be charged when our car was delivered to its destination. After leaving the office on our drive home I received an email saying our credit card was charged by All American Trucking & Transport. After verifying with two of their employees regarding when our credit card would be charged they didn't keep their word and charged us as soon as we left their office. It was fine because we had the funds to pay it, but what if we hadn't? This was right around Christmas time too. Second, they assigned our car to a driver who did not speak English. When the driver called us to confirm delivery we could not communicate with him. The driver called us three times and each time he called all he said was "one hour". One hour turned into 3-4 hours. We waited for hours and when he arrived we could not understand anything he was saying. It also worried us because he had a really hard time driving our car off of his trailer. read more

this is my first yelp review cause i truly believe it could help someone save time when searching for a car moving company. I decided to finally create an account cause i spent an entire week looking for one, read on and you'll know what i'm talking about. honestly, i was really worried about shipping my 1-year old sports car. But between driving the car from the bay area in California to Michigan (don't ask - i will be moving back in April!) or shipping it, i had to go with the latter cause first i didn't want to drive for 3-4 days, second, i didn't want to take any time off from work for that, third, i didn't know what to expect from the weather ... So i decided to do some research and find a car moving company. let me tell you what your choices are: you can either find a legitimate company (with a real office and actual employees) or you will receive tons of emails from unknown companies and at the end you'll realize they're individuals and not a real business. Marge was super friendly and i called her a couple of times to get information and she was helpful in both. I dropped my car off on a Tuesday afternoon at their offices; they were friendly as usual and i gotta say that seeing their offices made me feel less worried about the moving hassle. My car was schedule to be shipped on Thurday and they told me it should take 7-10 days from the day of shipment. They contacted me 3 times and each time providing me with an ETA. The car made it the following week on a Thursday - so 8 days total. If i had a single problem with this company i wouldn't have rated it as 5 stars (not having a yelp account before doesn't mean that i don't know how the yelp rating works since i use yelp all the time). But overall they were friendly, helpful, on-time, trustworthy and above all very professional. I have to say that i had some doubts when i read some of the yelp reviews below - but all i gotta say is that if you're looking at shipping your car long distance, an hour or two delay shouldn't be much of a big deal. I will be moving back to the Bay Area sometime in April, and thanks to All American i know whom to contact again for that. read more

These guys are great. I moved to Dallas last month and they really helped me out. I had someone else deliver my car to their Burlingame location. Well, my driver's side window regulator was broken and if you rolled the window all the way down, it won't go back up by itself. Well the driver who dropped it off didn't know that and rolled the window all the way down and it got stuck. Well the woman working their, Alex, called to let me know about this. I'm in Dallas and couldn't get back to get the window up myself. After multiple calls with Alex, she finally got it up! I chose this company to ship my car from CA to NC because they were rated the best in business. The people at the office were helpful, the driver who picked up my car was nice and thorough, and my car arrived in good condition within 10 days like they said. Originally I only gave them 3 stars because of the bad customer service I received from the driver who delivered my car. He was very impatient and rude to me when I could not find him because the address he gave me led me to the northern part of the highway when he was on the southern part. What really bothered me was how unprofessional the driver was. The way he talked to me and even said "sh*t" a few times when he was frustrated was what bothered me the most. I tried to give him tip money for the time he had to wait for me (25 minutes) but he did not accept it. He apologized to me after I drove away because I guess he felt bad for how he talked to me. I changed my rating up to 4 stars because of how the company managers handled the situation after I talked with the office personnel about what happened. They personally called me to apologize for their driver. I believe that is a good business move by valuing the opinions and feelings of the customer after he/she experiences a flaw in the service. read more

We had a wonderful experience with All American Trucking and Transport. We shipped an SUV from California to Pennsylvania. From the beginning, I received a prompt message and quote and the representative was patient in answering all my questions via email. We were under a very rigid time constraint for the pickup but the company made it happen. The pickup driver was friendly and accommodating and helpful in explaining the procedure. We were kept informed during the time the car was transported, and the arrangements for delivery couldn't have been easier. The delivery driver met us with a smile and it took little time to unload the car which was buried three-deep in the carrier. The car arrived in great shape with no damage. We shipped a car from Pennsylvania to Arizona in November of 2015 with a different company and had a completely different (stressful) experience; therefore, we were leery in trying again with another company for fear of a repeat. Used their services to relocate my car from SF to back east. My car was delivered on time which was great but unfortunately had $550.00 worth of scratches on the bumper. My husband and I both noticed the damage immediately after the car was unloaded and pointed them out to the driver. I filed a claim the same day with All American and followed their instructions - asking for photos of the scratches, estimates, etc. They denied the claim stating that the scratches were on the car when it was loaded onto the transport truck and relying on the bill of lading as their proof. I am not sure who filled out this bill as the signature is not legible and I don't know when it was filled out as it is not dated. Additionally, they have scratches marked on the bill that don't exist on my car so I find the form hard to rely on as proof. Communication during the claim process was minimal - they only got back to me when I reached out to them a few times. Lastly, the letter of denial that was sent to me contained spelling errors which just looks sloppy and unprofessional and makes me wonder how much effort they put in to investigating my claim. I understand that accidents happen I just wish that people would acknowledge when they do. read more

The extra star is for their customer-comes-first, go way, way above-and-beyond attitude. We were moving from San Francisco to New York with little time to plan. Everything was going great, on-time, etc. When we picked up the car, however, we noticed some interior damage. Interior damage is actually outside of the terms of the contract. We submitted a claim, only to receive a written notice that it would not be covered. Excuse me...What??? After some back-and-forth that could've gotten way out of hand, I got in touch with Justin Baron, VP, directly. After explaining the situation and seeking to understand where we were both coming from, we came up with a great solution. He really sought to understand the issue, offer solutions, and do the right thing. Really, people, isn't that all you want? So what happened? Justin took care of EVERYTHING and kept us updated constantly (even apologized when he couldn't get back in 24 hours). And we are super happy with the outcome! The extra star is also for All American's involvement at the highest levels and willingness to solve problems with the customer in mind. We found this company after trying to save money with a couple of brokers who promised to move our truck from Yuma to San Mateo for a lot less, but then couldn't find a truck going our way (and threatened us with cancellation fees when we realized they couldn't). And because we were out of town when the truck got here, they arranged for it to be delivered to their facility and kept it for a week at no charge to us.
