Great location in a back of warehouse area. Service was friendly and there was a lot of staff so no long waits on a Saturday. The beer was very cold and lots of places to sit. Came across this brewery on Yelp while in the area. It was super easy to find and had ample parking. They had a nice tent outside but also was open with outdoor/indoor(ish) seating in regards that all doors were open and they were those big warehouse type doors. There was a lot of space for social distancing from other groups. They had a good selection of different kinds of beers. They had a lot of Hazy IPAs which are my fav and the Sours we tried were delicious! They had a flight of six beers and a good serving. Came here for the first time last fall and I'm glad I did. I've always been going to burning barrel and fort rock while visiting the rancho area then decided to finally give this place and log off a try one weekend. I was very impressed with the beers I ordered here and the overall vibe was good. Their sours and hazy IPAs are good. They usually have a food truck parked outside but you can bring your own food if you want. I wish I lived closer so I could try one of their themed trivia nights like the seinfeld and Disney themed events they had last month. read more

I love our Barrel District here in Rancho. All of the breweries bring their own flare, experience and overall value to the whole community and Movement is no different. A HUGE space indoor and out with an amazingly friendly staff, and awesome beers!! A wide range for every beer drinker from smooooooth Triple IPA alll the way down to Flavorul seltzers and EVERYTHING in-between. Food truck lineups that keep your stomach happy too, live music, comedy shows, and corn hole boards to keep ya going long into the evening. Kid Friendly, dog friendly and a great place to go hang out and escape the heat and real world. After spending the day at the river with our dogs, my husband and I decided to come cool off at Movement Brewing. There is ample parking and plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. The day we visited, they're rotating food truck was serving up some taste looking pizza. They had live music which provided a nice ambience. As for the beer, I decided to try their smoothie sour which was refreshing and absolutely delicious. My husband had their blonde as well as one of their West Coast IPAs. They serve up local chips and salsa and have other snacks for purchase. All in all, a nice place to hang out and I love how dog friendly they are. read more

Not bad! Not bad! They have a pretty large list of beers with several styles represented. We sampled a little bit of almost everything and enjoyed most of them. The place is huge and great for large groups or gatherings, and they are kid- and dog-friendly. Came here for a friend's company event and wow! This place is HUUUGE! Super welcoming and you can just tell it's good vibes all around. The event space has neon lights of Movement Brewing and their dope logo! Parking won't be an issue (unless it's super packed) because they're located in what looks like a business/industrial area. Once inside, there's a lot of places to sit, a small arcade, a nice long bar and bathrooms. My choice of beer was the stout! I'm so sorry I don't remember the name but sheeeesh... what *clap* a *clap* beer!!! The coffee taste was excellent! We used to come here often, but the last couple of times we have been there has been very LOUD death metal music blaring inside. We came today around noon and couldn't even hear our friends talking, and it was too hot to sit outside so we left and went down the street to BB. I was first introduced to Movement Brewery on Halloween when a friend and had a few cans of their Fruitality Frose and it was soooo good. A refreshing smoothie sour reminiscent of a orange creamsicle. Needless to say when the opportunity arose to actually visit their brewery I jumped on it. Located in Rancho in an industrial area, its large inside and has plenty of parking. It's also located next to an Axe throwing place so perfect for a date night idea. Unfortunately when we came, the Frose was no longer available so we settled for their flight option (which is huge!) The bartender went over all the options and made a few recommendations. I'm not a fan hoppy IPA beers but we got 2 of them for my husband and the rest were sours, ciders and a really strong (like 12% ABV) coffee/chocolate beer. My husband enjoyed his 2 beers and I happily downed the rest. I'd highly recommend the flight as to get a full rounded experience of their beers. I did give them a follow on IG and it looks like they host lots of fun specialty nights like trivia and live music. They also appear to have rotating food trucks on weekends. They are kid and pet friendly too so that's a plus! I was overall very please with their beers and ambiance of the place. Good beers, fun and easy going. Will definitely be back! read more

Really enjoyed this brewery on our first visit. Nice and spacious indoor as well as outdoor seating. We like Hazy's and was able to have a double but missed the new single that was coming out the next day. I did see shuffle board and couple arcade games, I'm sure there were more but we hung out in front where the food vendor was set up. That day it was Renegade Dining! This is hands down my favorite brewery. Their beer is top tier. Although one thing I dislike is that on busier days (weekends) if you sit at the bar they won't serve you unless you wait in line but won't say anything or don't post this anywhere. IMO they should do one and one as far as serving the line and bar. I am a regular but I left and walked out, I don't got time to wait until they are free, when there are a thousand breweries in Sacramento who want your money. read more

I'm so excited I stumbled on an Insta event flyer for Barks and Brews at Movement Brewing. It's a cool event where all dog owners unite and shop at different dog vendors and yummy brews. Movement Brewing is clearly. Dog loving brewery which I love. It's open, welcoming and has plenty of seating. Beer Options are pretty good, I do wish that they had more sour flavors but the other light blondes are pretty good. Not only does this place always have good drinks and food truck options but they have live bands and games to play! Welcome to the neighborhood, Movement Brewing! A new addition to Rancho's Barrel District, Movement opened up in the same industrial/warehouse area that Ol' Republic occupied a few years back and is next to The Smart Axe. We were super excited to visit for their Grand Opening weekend! Due to current COVID-19 regulations, the "taproom" is currently all outdoors only and you must have a food item on your tab (they have basic $5 hotdogs or nachos available). There are tents set up in front with chairs and tables underneath for on-site consumption. They had a good variety of 6 beers on tap despite just opening, with individual tasters and a sampler flight available. They had 4-packs and crowlers to-go. I was surprised to see a seltzer already on the starting line-up, and it even had a bright, lovely color instead of being clear, like most! I enjoyed the Dude Monster hazy IPA as well! All of the staff seemed super friendly, even when they were so busy! There was a mix-up with our friend's order, but they were helpful in getting it fixed promptly and making sure he was charged correctly. My only minor concern was that it was pretty bustling and crowded when we arrived, and because of this, there wasn't a lot of space in general - all of the outdoor seating under the tents was taken, so there were multiple large groups of people standing in the remaining open space, which happened to be right next to the line to order. It made us feel a bit uncomfortable while we were waiting in line, especially since the groups standing near the line were drinking their beer already and were no longer wearing masks. Since it was their opening weekend, they may not have anticipated the big turnout! But hopefully we're able to grab a table next time, since we had to unfortunately put the cute flight boards on the ground since it was too difficult to hold and drink them at the same time. It might also help to have some sort of barrier/divider between the line and open standing area so people who aren't wearing their masks don't accidentally get too close. Overall, though, very happy to have a new local brewery! They already seem really popular. Can't wait for more beer releases and to see what else they have in store! read more

LOVE this brewery. I know they just opened, but their beer is professionally made and the staff is so friendly! I had a great chat with the beer maker - he took time to explain about the beer making process and their choice for hops. It was delicious AND entertaining! I also like that they have a broad range of beers and don't put all of their effort into IPAs (though the two they make are phenomenal). I recommend trying their sampler - I was impressed with everything they made and tried beers I wouldn't normally order (the porter = A+). read more

I'm late to the party. This brewery is hidden out of the way from the main drag and easy to miss. I didn't know it existed until my friend had his birthday here. Great beers and rotating food trucks. The space is large and bright with plenty of areas for seating. I was my turn to drive so I only had a few beers, but my girlfriend enjoyed everything she tried.
