We loved this brewery! So many great Hazy IPAs and IPA options on tap. There was a food truck (Capital Wings), and they also had snacks like chips and hummus available at the register. The highlight was definitely the brewery cat, Charlie--he hung out with us the whole time! Definitely made us miss our cat! Plus, there were tons of games you can bring to your table, which made it even more fun. We unfortunately came on a rainy day, so we didn't get to enjoy a nice cold beer outside (which is typically what we love to do) --but that just means we have a great excuse to come back and try even more beers next time! read more

Came in yesterday afternoon for an event with my husband. The brewery was somewhat clean but the bathroom was so gross and stunk so bad and it was an unsex bathroom and it was only 1 bathroom and it wasn't clean. The food tuck they had sucked also they kept having problems with there fryers and other problems and they weren't washing there hands after they went on there smoke breaks& it took an hour or more just to get your order if food and the food didn't taste that great to begin with and it's hard to mess up chicken wings but they did. The service to get beer was good even though also the line was long but they helped everyone pretty fast as well and made sure you got what you wanted. read more

New Glory has just gotten better with time. Years ago I came for the Belgians they would have here from time to time. Back when it was a tiny tap room with a half dozen taps. It's grown to expand into double the space and double the taps. A dog-friendly space complete with a mini arcade, plenty of seating, and a variety of beer styles. The dark and malties here are mostly great, with an occasional standout so terrific I can't resist taking some home in fear that I would never be able to drink it again. The beertenders are chill guys that never steer me wrong. Today I was recommended a Son of a Beach sour that tasted like liquid sunshine. Just perfect during a 101° Sacramento heatwave. read more

Came in on a Tuesday around 5:30pm with a group of six. The beer I had was great and the cashier was helpful and assisted us to make our selection. The beers are great. We also got food from the food truck parked outside. The Texas burger with Cajun fries. The burger was huge and the amount of fries was plenty for two!! read more

It's been awhile since I last visited New Glory. However, I drifted away for a while when on numerous visits, they didn't have any maltier beers on tap in favor of several IPA styles. A couple of times of that happening, I can let pass. Particularly in full heat of summer. More than that, though, and I start to drift away and find places that more consistently have styles that I prefer. Such was the case here. Fast forward to last evening. I wanted to meet up with a friend. Location-wise, both of us would be nearby and this was the brewery we chose to catch up over a pint at. At the counter, I hopefully inqúred whether there were any stouts or porters or English ales on tap currently. To my elated surprise, there were three stouts currently available: The Java Jack(a golden), the Frosty Delight ( hot cocoa flavors), and a third stout with Maple-y notes. I opted for the Frosty Delight after sampling all three. It was delicious and very welcome on a chilly December evening. The Golden Stout was also quite good with coffee notes that would be great as a morning beverage, too. The third stout wasn't bad, but went down a trifle " heavier"... probably better to have with food rather than as a solo pint. Now that New Glory is making the styles that are the ones I prefer as gain, I'll be frequenting more often, to be sure. The remodel of the previous brewing tank room into additional seating area with several arcade games is nice. There are three pinball machines, a car race game, a table version of Space Invaders, and a Ninja Turtle fight game. Things are looking cozier here. Was so excited this place had so, so many IPAs. Was hoping it'd be a NorCal Green Cheek or Monkish. Service was just one dude on a weekday night. Order at the bar- he was very nice. They've got about 8 tables inside, 5 bar seats, and a handful of tables outside. Have some games as well. Could be pretty cool on a weekend. Got one of their Double IPAs and a 4-pack of their hazies to take home. Woke up with a killer headache the next day, even when I was hydrated-- only had 1 beer. Tried the hazy IPAs another day and it gave me a killer headache also. What is not to like about a brewery with their own tap room? New Glory is hidden in the back of an industrial area is a sudsy paradise. Parking is a bit limited, but the space to spend with friends is air conditioned and has some arcade games! I had been exposed to the tasty goodness when I was out exploring Jamestown, so I had to go try this brewery firsthand. This brewery has everything from nonalcoholic to IPAs, sours, stouts and ales. Today my friend and I had four different kind of beers all of them were absolutely. You can choose from a 4 ounce taster, 8 ounce or a full 16 ounce goblet to enjoy these libations. There's not much in the way of snacks, but they do have some basic snacks you can purchase if you need something to soak up the alcohol in your stomach . To combat this the location has a couple different food vendors come on site where you have the option to buy some type of homemade food . Today happened to be a lumpia vendor and we had some tasty lumpia to go with the good beer selection. It was quite delightful. I look forward to trying this location out again. read more

They have about 25 taps, including 1 hop water, a few light beers, several hazy IPAs, a few West Coast IPAs, 3 sours, and a few dark/specialty varieties. I enjoyed the selection of beers I picked out; most of them were delicious and hit the spot. I wanted to try 2 flights to get a better understanding of what beers I liked, but the amount of beer in each glass was quite a lot. They offer flight trays that hold 4-5 oz pours, but the glasses hold more than 5 ounces with no line indicating the 5 oz mark. I wish they had the option of using sample shot glasses instead of the 5 oz pours. I only wanted to sample each beer but didn't want to drink so many ounces. Sipping a 2-oz shot would have been plenty. They've expanded the seating area to accommodate several tables and a few video game units. Note: There is only 1 bathroom in the whole place, which seems inadequate for a brewery. I believe you can bring food inside. They also sell chips and gummy worms. read more

Frickin' love this family-and-dog-friendly brewery in Sac! It's the perf spot for a midday post-lunch lounge. I even saw tons of groups hang out in their small outside patio and even more people sitting in their many picnic tables in the warehouse-style seating. Dogs-a-plenty too (plus they have treatos)! Parking is a little tough since it's street parking or you can take your chances on the weekend and park in the tiny lot where there are some nondescript businesses just one lot over. But it was pretty safe, some homeless encampments a few streets over, but New Glory is tucked away at the end of the street. Enjoyed a flight and loved the friendly taptender. He was so kind and seemed like he knew all the regulars. They have a fully stocked fridge full of crowlers to go, and I had to take a 4 pack of Gummy Worm IPA with me. It was SO delicious, the perf amount of sweet and sour. I totally enjoyed how each beer was so flavorful made, packed with juice, and unique. That's the key to a successful microbrewery--I think! Have variety and be bold with experimentation. New Glory surely does that. I loveddddd my Stellar Nova and the Citra Colada definitely had the perfect hint of coconut. Reminded me of Aloha living. The Sunset Surge was not my fave, but it was easy to drink on a hot day. Great space to hang, totally nonjudgmental, and loved how friendly everybody was. Will def be back. read more

Small craft brewery tucked away just below the 50, east of East Sacramento. In an industrial/warehouse area. Plenty of nearby street parking, also has a dedicated lot w/ a reasonable number of spots. Good beer selection with knowledgeable and friendly staff who are happy to make a recommendation. Prices are very reasonable. Beers are tasty - their IPA and lights are great with dynamic flavors and depth, refreshing and perfect for a warm summer day in Sac. They have some minimal snacks on site, but a food truck was setting up just when we were leaving. Plenty of air conditioned main-seating area, as well as a larger warehouse-seating area w/ some old school arcade games to amuse yourself with when you're hanging out w/ friends. New Glory Brewery, Sacramento, CA, February 6, 2024 I arrived at about 2 PM on Tuesday afternoon. Tuesdays are five dollar pint days for beers with 8% and less alcohol. Count me in! The server at the bar was friendly and accommodating. There are two parts to the brewery - the tap room and bar, and a separate large seating area that includes pinball and other types of games. I was just here for the beer and to socialize with friends, so I sat in the bar area. Upbeat music was playing and there was at least one big screen TV behind me. They have a good selection Hazy and West Coast IPAs as well as many other styles of beer. I liked both the lager and Pilsner that I tried. Both great representatives of their respective styles. I've had their Ubadank West Coast IPA, Hop Haze double IPA, and numerous hazy IPAs in the past and those have always been excellent too. The star of the show for me however on this particular day was the Pinch Harmonics West Coast IPA. Made with Mosaic, Nelson, and Citra hops, it was a delicious delight! I went in the middle of the day and it was very quiet. Location is in an industrial/warehouse space that is split between a service bar area with seating and a larger game/seating area. The interior lacks any creative thought and looks like a cross between an arcade and a company break room. The beer was "Ok", but nothing I tried from the flight of four 5oz pours made me want to order a full beer. Although I was familiar with the brand from their creative can art and beer names, the overall experience was "meh". read more

Highly recommend this spot. They have this golden raspberry stout that is to die for or to fight for. All depends on the week you're having. Hazys are on point. Always friendly staff. Came here with my family to try some beers for Fathers Day as well as get some bomb ass Nicaragüense food they had in the parking lot. The taproom is kind of small. I think max cap is 50. The customer service is top knot tier! The beer is great and the ambiance is great. It's a little tucked away and I wish the location would be a little more noticeable but it works. Hidden in an industrial park New Glory's tasting room is relaxed and comfortable. But just like the beer there is a lot going on here. The taps host beers not available in cans. The have a good range of styles. Package sales are available too. The service is friendly and the place is clean and bright. One of the best stouts I've ever had! I haven't found a great stout since a trip to Portland, OR. I'm not the most knowledgeable beer drinker, but this one blew me away. How did I not know about this place?!?! A friend invited me for a beer recently and I was blown away by their amazing variety of sours and gose (I LOVE sours). And when I discovered their key lime gose ... game over. I'm hooked. I'm addicted. It has ruined all other local breweries for me! I love how close this place is to my house - yes, definitely warehouse district feel (and not in the cool hipster way). But the space is clean and modern with plenty of seating outdoors. I came here for their Halloween beer release party and I was surprised I had never heard of this place before and the fact they've been around for years! Located off Power Inn in a warehouse style area there is ample parking and plenty of space. Inside has seating and lots of games from cards to arcade games. It appears to be kid friendly and is definitely dog friendly! Service was great, I'm not big into craft beers but the guy at the counter took the time to go over beers the thought I'd like based on my preferences and even gave me a few samples. I opted to try their Candy Freak seasonal release and it was soooo refreshing! I can't remember the name of my second beer but it was fruity with hints of vanilla and again, delicious! I really like that this place hosts events with food trucks and even local vendors to help support and bring the community together. The fact it's close to home is an added bonus. Tiny tasting room but with some of the best beer selection in Sac. I was impressed with just the fact that they had six or seven stouts on tap, and they were generous with the samples. The stouts I leaned toward were decadent and robust without being over the top. I also was impressed with their New England IPAs, some of the best I've tried in Sac. They do a lot with a small space, but it definitely felt packed at times. It would be challenging to try to have a big group here. There are a few non-alcoholic options and snacks, which is always appreciated. The fridge near the front with cans also had an impressive selection of their beers to go. I've been wanting to try this Sacramento brewery for a while and glad that an opportunity arose in which Steve and I could have tried two of their beers ! We had two beers from New Glory and I liked both pretty well! One beer was the Stellar Nova. Now this was an Imperial Sour. Usually with sours I have a hard time with them because they are so sweet due to their fruited aspect. But this beer wasn't so bad on sweetness and it was plenty fruited too with passion fruit, pink guava, key lime and Cara Cara Orange but it wasn't too heavily sugared at all so I was impressed with that. The next was the Ubahdank West Coast IPA. Now I'm kind of new to put much thought into a West Coast IPA because I haven't had all that many. Now I know that doesn't make much sense saying that since I live on the West Coast but this IPA is emerging at more and more breweries and before there wasn't so much variation of an IPA. With this beer I enjoyed it quite a bit and was an impressive installment to having this IPA style under my belt with it's good, clean flavor and dankness. read more

4/17/21 By this point I was already a little bit happy cause we just had an amazing meal at the Alaro Brewing Company, though ironically just so-so beer despite their name. But you know, I'm still more than happy to finish up everything served so.... yeah I was a bit happy. Also, I got this little toddler dude, and watching him while drinking is problematic (alright alright, my gf did most of the work.) So bottom line... I didn't get a chance to take notes and hence I forgot all the details. All I can tell you is this place is ALL about the beer. It ain't fancy, in fact, it's kinda just a space in a warehouse with crappy seats around a couple tables. But man, they got an EPIC selection of beers--dozens of specialty types, many of which I've never heard of before. So, for those beer aficionados out there--this is your wet dream. Just for the record though, this is what I had (and again, I apologize, but no detailed notes like I usually do)... 1. Gummy Worms 8oz $3.25 "chewy pale ale, 5.8% ABV" 2. Yours 8oz $4.50 "imperial kettle sour, 8% ABV" 3. Wakey Wakey $3.25 (menu says $3.50) "oatmeal coffee porter, 6.5% ABV" Oh and yes, the prices are GREAT. If it's mediocrity you're after this is the place for you. Known for their Gummy Worms beer, I finally made it in this weekend. I pulled up thinking I made a wrong turn with no cars in sight. I walked in and I can see why. The whole place screams generic. The main room is dark and even though there was only one other group it's loud. So loud I was barely able to hear the server. Walking to the other room, which looks like an unfinished warehouse didn't help making the space more inviting. They use plastic picnic tables for seating and an old sound bar for music. They couldn't even bother to mount it, it sits on an old busted plastic picnic table. They have a good selection of beers but the place is so sad we decided to leave after one round. My friend made a good point, we shouldn't had been surprised. Even their Instagram and can designs are generic. read more

Was in Sac the other day during Spring Break so I ended up checking out New Glory. I've tried probably 30 of their different offerings because we get a lot of New Glory distro here in the central valley. Sidenote: NG is prob in my top three breweries right now because they are consistently making good beer. But anyway, I popped in and had a flight. I tried a pale and 3 NE ipas. There was a contrast between each of the 3 NE ipas I tried so I was left really impressed. The pale, citra mon, was also fantastic. I think I wrote on untappd that it was the best pale I've ever had. Anyway, I wish I would have got some cans on the way out but I had to much on my mind. Guess I'll have to come back again! read more

Yasssssss! The glory of New Glory Craft Brewery. Their quick rotating menu is one of the best I've seen, because there are plenty of options for all types of beer lovers (not just IPA people). I'm a 'dark beer' (porters and stout) person. And when I see a microbrewery have the options between 2-4 dark beers on the menu, I know I'm going to have a good time and frequent this place.....in which I do. This place is nicely lit up on the inside, and is kid and dog friendly with lots of sitting space and options (inside or out). The staff is very friendly and puts in the effort to help choose what may suit you beer loving pallet for that night. Again, being a stout person, I love that there were rotations of the stout selections. I'm always browsing by their Facebook page to see if there maybe any new releases on the horizon. Granted they DO have plenty of IPA's and some ales. But don't let the other reviews sway you into thinking IPA's is an exclusive. read more
