When we moved into our house, the previous owner left a giant old sectional and some other furniture behind. The stuff we decided not to keep was old and heavy, and I procrastinated getting rid of it. I can not speak on the quality of the work, as my issue relates to an appt made, which I took time off to be there for, which the business did not reschedule, did not cancel in advance, but they simply did not show up for. Yeah it is one of those reviews. And when followed up with on the missed appt, the business first stated weather ( the weather had been the same for 3 days, plenty of time to cancel or reschedule) and then stated lost phone #. Which is the same as saying lost appt. It is like that Seinfeld skit, you can take the appt but you can't honor the appt. Which is really the important part of making an appointment. I get it, things happen but take ownership of wasting a person's time. And don't blame the weather. Looking at the other reviews these guys do good work, but I can only speak on my experience, with them. Which wasted the one thing we do not get back ---- time. read more

Hiring movers came highly recommended. People far and wide have raved about the difference it makes just hiring someone. So, I bit. I wanted to know what all the fuss was about. When it was time to move, I reached out to quite a few different companies. We were moving a small apartment so I knew it wouldn't be a difficult job for the right company. I took my time to vet through them. Many of the people I spoke to were overpriced and didn't or couldn't really answer my questions. These guys were the most affordable, responsive, and professional. So i was happy to give them the business. When the day finally came, I was still quite nervous. I didn't know if they would show up or if they would break anything. But they put me right at ease. They were on time, communicative, and totally prepared for the job. My move went smoothly because of them. We actually requested that they throw many of the heaviest items out. I am super suspicious of moving companies. I assume that they are all out to steal your money. Run the clock up, horrible workers, and little care for your possessions. I won't use brokers, and I was reluctant to use any corporate company. I bounced back and forth from getting a UHAUL myself and just hiring muscle to help me with the heavy items. As a side note, my wife and I have moved 5 times in 5 years (work related). We used a moving company and it was a horrible experience. They damaged our things, then lied about it later. This led us to self move every other time. So I am generally not a fan of moving companies. I stumbled upon MOVENSCAPE while searching for moving help. I looked up MOVENSCAPE and the reviews that were submitted. All were positive but there were only a few. Going against, what I thought, was my better judgment at the time I contacted the company to see what the price was etc. I could write forever about this company, all I have to say is I am glad that I went against my better judgment. This company is incredible. The owner is incredibly nice and really went the extra mile to make me feel that I was making a good choice. I booked a couple of weeks in advance and Tony contacted me a week out as a reminder of the day and time frame that he was coming. He gave an hour window of arrival and showed up on time. I paid for 3 movers and both of his employees were incredible. They worked extremely hard and fast. We enjoyed casual conversation as they worked. They were all personable, and were just genuinely good people. Once they started working, they never stopped. Not one complaint came from them. And a lot of our furniture is extremely heavy. This was back breaking work and they emptied our house in 2 hours. The price is extremely reasonable. They require no down payment, as every other moving company does, and he didn't charge a travel fee, again as every other moving company does. He only charges a small fee from the start location to the location that you're moving too. How reasonable is that? Very reasonable is the answer. Not one ding or scratch was sustained to our walls or to our furniture. They wrapped everything in moving blankets and even used shrink wrap on the other items to protect our furniture. Honestly I could write about this company all day. They have restored my faith in humanity and in the ability that there are honest and hard working people out there that just want to do their job and do it well. I had expressed my concerns about moving companies to Tony before I hired them. The best way to get back at anyone is to prove them wrong. MOVENSCAPE proved me wrong. This company is worth every penny they charge. They moved us quickly, efficiently, and they were beyond accommodating to my every request. Hire this company and you won't be disappointed. This review is a long time coming but hopefully it's "better late than never." I moved last year (August, 2019). The guys showed up on time and were WONDERFUL! I had a lot of stuff and wasn't completely packed when they arrived. They worked practically all day in the sweltering August heat, and were super friendly and kind. At the end of the day, actually night when it was all done (I had A LOT) they had to reassemble my son's monster of a loft bed. They ran into a bit of trouble and called in reinforcements, Tony, the owner, and another person arrived to help. They reassembled my son's bed and Tony even gave me a discount on the price because he thought the process took longer than he expected. I was extremely grateful and relieved that they never gave up.
