The smell I can discount as they were very polite and summer is peak moving season. Our walnut furniture had to be moved around complicated stairs and they were quite helpful. During the move to a new house we found people online who were selling furniture that we wanted. We coordinated with the movers and they made two additional stops during the day and both of the homeowners commented about how quick and knowledgeable the movers were. We started around 4 PM having them move and I think we finished around 11:30 that night. Aside from the amount of time that it took to move which you don't realize how much stuff you accumulate we got them pizza because they were just so tired and we are happy to have them help. Again aside from a few small scratches on a piece of the woodwork that we have which I can buff out with some 300 grit sandpaper. Yeah these guys were heroes and I can't imagine trying to move on my own. I highly recommend this company, movers can be rude, crude, or abrupt but these guys were Superman

No post move communications at all. Nothing from Hansen Bros., Allied Van Lines, and the third party RMS that Hansen Bros subbed the crating to. This is likely headed to litigation but the bottom line here is that I would not use this company again and would not recommend the company to anyone else.

Two hours from start to finish. They (two men) moved all my stuff from a bedroom to my new studio apartment in under the three hour minimum--but that's okay. With the truck rental it was $437 total. These guys--the do not milk the clock. They move with speed, putting everything in these huge 60" x 24" boxes, except for the furniture. EVERYTHING gets wrapped like a palette 360 degrees around. I just stayed out of their way, and within one hour they had everything loaded up. They brought a 24' truck, which was bigger than I expected. The drive was 30 minutes to my new place and unloading took about 45 minutes. They had me sign a standard moving contract, and I absolutely appreciate the 10% military discount, and another 3% for paying cash. FANTASTIC, could not say one thing bad. They are very careful with my stuff. Absolutely recommended.

They were also very flexible with our schedule when our plans were thrown off by the missed delivery of our "moving pods." We ended up changing plans and needing to get moving trucks instead. Simple Move arrived at my friends place and I could tell these people have really good customer service! They were smiling, carrying our things because I gave my friends my belongings to take up. Some of the stuff included a vase, many video games and clothes. He took it up and made sure it is placed in the truck well. This took only a couple of hours which was very efficient! After arriving to Washington with my friends, Simple Move got there on time. I was very happy! I just wanted to get everything done and help my friend settle in! I'm honestly one of those people that is over critical with my belongings and they cannot be bad or I will freak out! Luckily they took care of everything for us and that my belongings came in one piece and not pieces.
