Where is my 6th Star? I wanted to find a way to truly rate the service that we received from Darrell and his excellent team of professionals. Only Five Stars is inadequate--but I'll try to explain what I mean. This team went ABOVE and BEYOND for us. I thought it was exceptional--but I understand now that this is their typical day's work--seeking to accommodate the customer and help make the transition from one home to another the smoothest and most stress-free possible. Darrell drove over an hour to meet with us prior to our moving day and examined our 2000 square foot home and its contents to give us a very reasonable estimate for the move. He answered all our questions and reviewed options available to us. On moving day, things went SO quickly--even though they had to delay (thanks to me) and wrap some items more securely in order for them to survive the move. Within less than the predicted time frame they were fully packed, securely loaded with special care given to items that were fragile. In our case, moving from a home into temporary storage, we knew we would need access to some packages while others were good to remain stacked for the long haul. These gentlemen (they really were, 3 very articulate, kind and helpful professionals) took the time while loading and then unloading to sort items according to our needs--the items for long term went to one storage area, and those marked for Immediate Use went to another area. That was SO helpful to us in the long run, you just can't believe. Darrell was there throughout the loading of our contents, making sure things were completed to our satisfaction. His team made great time, no detours, on the way to our destination. Although they worked long hours the day prior to our trip, they were fresh and ready to work on the unload. We had our entire truck load of contents safely sorted and stored away within less than an hour. My husband and I were so impressed with their execution and delivery that he managed a small bonus for them (including a generous tip) at the end of the day! We will be moving again within a year. And let me tell you, ANY time I need a professional move in the future, I will make sure that my FIRST resource is Moving Interiors and Darrell Higgins. read more

Cannot say enough great things about Moving Interiors. I posted a complaint on a local Facebook group about issues we had with a prior moving company moving out of our other home. Many people recommended Moving Interiors for the move into our new home from the 25x10 storage unit. We have a LOT of stuff. After hearing such great input we decided to go with them. We felt confident right upon booking that our furniture and belongings were in good hands. We were correct. They arrived on time with four men who worked quickly to unload our storage unit while we were at closing and it was ready to be put in the house when we arrived back. The owner of the company was present to make sure everything went smoothly and the men were meticulous with keeping all of our furniture and belongings safe. There was no damage to anything. They even put stuff down on our new carpet so that it did not get dirty. Our lower door frames were covered so there was no damage to them. Our mattresses were put in protestors so that they did not drag on the ground. They worked so much faster than the other company that we were unsatisfied with. Also, their truck is very big so there was no issue fitting all of our stuff. The prior company was not able to fit everything in one load. Do yourself a favor and go with Moving Interiors. I have used Moving Interiors three times now for moving my family. My only two regrets are not using them for the moves prior to that and for not posting a review after the first move. Darrell, the owner, is a genuine, honest, trustworthy man of his word. Darrell was on site for all three moves and shows pride in the ownership of his company. Although his crews require minimal supervision, Darrell is always there to nudge them if needed. Moving Interiors has top of the line equipment which means your possessions will reach their destination without delay and or peril. I've never seen so many precautions taken for someone else's property. This company defines the motto of "treat others as you would like to be treated". My most recent move involved moving into a new build home. Moving interiors put down blankets throughout the floors and put protective coverings on all carpeted areas. Nothing was damaged and everything arrived just as it was prior to arrival. The Moving Interiors crew work on an hourly schedule, but they move on your schedule. They don't take lunch when high noon arrives, only when the task is ready for it. These guys hustle and don't grimace with any request. Their prices are fair and more than worth it. We were extremely pleased with the way Moving Interiors helped make a complicated move simple. Packing was planned to take two days and one day for the move from Houston to Dallas. A few weeks before our move, Darrell came to our home and evaluated what he would need to pack our household. Two days before moving day, Darrell and his team arrived to start packing everything. The men were very careful to wrap everything and we did not have a single incident of anything getting broken. They packed it as if it were their own! Day two went equally well. We had time at the end of the day to do a last minute cleanup and then spent the night with friends. Early the next day we hit the road and met the men at the first stop and unloaded everything at our destination. Then, Darrell and the crew were kind enough to deliver our family's piano to a second destination before they headed back to Houston. We could not have been more please with the way everything worked out. The men were polite, extremely helpful and were a pleasure to work with. It was very evident that they had worked together for a long time and knew their business. Darrell's price for his services was extremely fair. I can whole-heartedly recommend Moving Interiors. Darrell Higgins and his team came to our rescue during a very difficult time in our family. A family member had to be hospitalized for a long term just as the family was about to move to Dallas. They needed to empty their house and get it ready to go on the market. Moving Interiors was able to load their entire house and move the contents to a storage facility for us. The team was professional and very careful with their possessions. I watched them wrap an antique dining table with extra padding and then easily move it to the truck. That table weighs a gazillion pounds. I was so impressed. Later we used them again to move the household from storage to the new residence in Dallas. I was pleased to see the same team for this leg of the move. They did not use temporary workers for our move. I felt their rates were very competitive with other companies. Darrell sent me proof of insurance which I appreciated. I do not live in the Pearland area but I am going to contact them to help move some furniture for us. I cannot say enough about Moving Interiors. I contacted them early in the morning and within hours they came out to walk my space to give me a quote. The price was a little more than other companies that quoted me, but I had a great feeling about this company and I could not be happier with my decision to use their services. On moving day, they arrived right on time. I was immediately impressed with how clean the trucks were and how friendly the entire team was. They all seemed genuinely happy to be there! The team was super professional and accommodating and went out of their way to make sure my furniture and the floors were perfectly taken care of. I hired Moving Interiors in March of 2020. They did absolutely FANTASTIC job!!! The owner, Darrell, was on-site, and his employees are very hard-working. My move was not an easy one, but they were diligent and very professional. They were swift, careful, and made sure everything was assembled where we wanted the furniture. They were very flexible with the scheduling. They were extremely careful with all my belongings. They were able to disassemble and properly re-assemble Ikea furniture (pieces that are very complicated!) They communicated very well. They are priced competitively, and DEFINITELY worth every penny! Darrell and his team are excellent at what they do. Communications were smooth throughout the process of the move. I used Moving Interiors a year ago for myself and just had them move my mom. The move team are very courteous and respectful of your belongings. Absolute care was taken with each item. The furniture was placed just where we wanted it and even moved when we changed the layout. My mom had used another local mover 5 years ago and she had a bad experience with that company, so we appreciate the work by the Moving Interiors team.
