Having moved so many times previously, I know what it's like on a moving day, but Ali and his team were by far the best movers I worked with. The four men worked tirelessly and it was clear that they were not here to slack off but to do a proper moving job and alleviate any stress that you may have. I wasn't all packed up and ready but they worked really fast to help with packing although it was not part of the original agreement. When I brought burgers for the team, they stopped the time watch as they felt it was a right thing to do. They disassembled all my furniture and put them all back in original forms and even helped organize in our new place. Most of all, their humble and professional and down to earth personalities made it so easy to work with them. We recently purchased a home and were looking for some movers to help transport furniture and bigger items from our apartment to our new house. Luckily People Movers had availability on the day we needed to move; securing the appointment and paying the deposit was a breeze. On moving day, William and his helper arrived in the early half of the time window and did a superb job. Moving the furniture out of the apartment and to the truck involved going down a fairly long curvy hallway, but William and his helper moved items with such efficiency. When being charged by the hour, efficiency is certainly important. They took precaution to protect our furniture and the walls of both the apartment and our new home. The value was very competitive compared to other companies and I feel we definitely got our monies worth. Overall, the men did a great job and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again! Hired a team to get moved from Seattle to Renton and so very glad I decided to go with these guys. All the other places had sketchy sounding practices with regard to travel/hidden fees and/or quoted me 10 hours for a one bedroom apartment. I took the time to fill out their impressive online form and got a quote from People Movers that was lower and way more straight forward than all the rest. First time using movers though, so was anxious how things would work out. Had no cause for concern. Dudes were so freakin fast! Not a single item got damaged despite, again, so freakin fast! And the total at the end was low enough that I actually asked to make sure he was charging me for everything. Moving sucks but these guys made the process so much easier I would absolutely use them again, just hope I don't have to for awhile. read more

They arrived a bit early, which was great, and despite not being finished packing, they jumped in to help with such kindness and professionalism. Their packing skills are unmatched--quickly and efficiently wrapping everything, including my 2-cushion sofa in just 2 minutes. They carried heavy items up two flights of stairs without complaint, always smiling and patient with my requests to place some items in the garage and others up the stairs. These men busted there butts getting me moved into my new home with my boyfriend (he moved two weeks ago... they did such a phenomenal job then that we knew they were definitely the guys for us!) I was recommended People Movers by a friend who used them three times. I spoke with Artem over the phone who was very kind, accommodating and informative. A true professional! PRO TIP: Pay in cash to avoid the 5% fee. The email receipt arrives within minutes of completing the transaction, in case you're worried. :) They showed up EARLY! I was helped by two young men who kept their heads down and worked at a steady pace. All of my boxes and furniture were well protected, wrapping and covering things where and when needed. When they went to lunch they arrived a little late (~20 minutes), which isn't a big deal, and they didn't charge us for that time. They deserve 5 stars for their service, but I had to remove a star because masks were not being worn - they were attached but pulled below the nose or just around the neck - For the record I would have been okay with it if they had just asked if I was comfortable with it. Overall though, good company, good, hardworking people. I will do business with them again. read more

Where to begin... they arrived 30 minutes late, which was excusable, but the job they did upon arrival was subpar at best. We hired them to pack our kitchen (I'd already packed most of the unbreakable items) and they quoted us 4 hours for the job. They were "busy" the entire time, but my wife and I were working packing other rooms instead of supervising them... big mistake! The quote was to pack five full size cabinets and seven drawers. One cabinet was left untouched, four drawers were left untouched and unpacked and things were left in other cabinets, yet they charged us for 3.5 hours. We got home to find our kitchen still unpacked and the boxes that they did pack were done poorly. Nothing was labeled, and items were placed in boxes so that the boxes couldn't close or stack properly. Some glass items were left unwrapped, while some plastic items were wrapped excessively. The two stars is due to the apology offered by the office/scheduling person. She acknowledged the poor performance but was unable to provide compensation or a different crew for loading purposes the next day. We used Adam's Moving and could not have been happier. They saved the day, and we wish we'd used them for packing. read more

These guys are actual magicians. I have more belongings than God and they were able to fit most of it in a 26' truck at a speed that wowed me over and over again. They have so many tricks and methods to make what seems impossible happen, like fitting a too huge couch through a tiny door. I have had a horrible experience with People Movers and I do not recommend their service. One of the mover didn't wear a mask even though I warned him. We were moving from a 800sqft apartment (to a place 1-2 miles away) and our items were packed (To be fair, bed needed to be disassembled and assembled). Move took 7 hours and 45 mins. Movers were extremely slow and not efficient. One of them was always on the phone. They took a cigarette break after 45 mins. I have seen them carry one box at a time, one lamp at a time. They have extended the duration significantly. We had elevator and street level stairs in the apartment, they didn't utilize the elevator. After almost four hours in the first place, I have told them that it is going very slow and asked how long it will take. They told me that it will be along the estimate 5.5, 6 hours - after they saw all the furniture. But still it ended up taking almost 8 hours. We requested 5 wardrope boxes and only 3 came. Now we have to go back to old place and move it with our car. This move could have been done in less than 5 hours. I spoke to their manager and he decreased the price by one hour but it is not enough. I recommend staying away from this company. read more
