First, let me say that it is very unfortunate that I have to write this review that is completely opposite of what I was planning to write. My family has used and referred Frank to others many times, but the lack of concern and care for my furniture simply cannot be overlooked. The moving process was smooth. Frank's guys where nice fun personable etc. My move was a lot of work of which I paid a nice $1200 for on 1/5. Everything was peachy and I was super satisfied UNTIL I discovered that my very expensive Cal King Footboard drawer was not reassembled the way it should have been. Frank's guys took apart my bed and did not put it together properly. I contacted Frank as soon as I discovered the issue on 1/9. He ignored me for days, then requested pics on 1/12 because "nobody can recall doing damage to your drawer" ... well DUH ! of course, they aren't going to admit it. So, better than pics I sent him a video showing how the left drawer functions the way it should vs how my "damaged" drawer does not function properly. CRICKETS! Seven days later on 1/19 he responded claiming to have been out of town and requested to come by the next day 1/20; I agreed. Here it is 2/2/21 and I have not heard a PEEP from Frank. NOTHING....ZIP...ZILCH...NADA! My drawer is still jacked up and he has not taken responsibility or made good on his word to rectify the issue, nor has he even responded to my text messages since 1/19. In addition, he moved my mom in mid-December and he himself broke two of her drawers. Only fixed one and has yet to make good on fixing the other. She paid him upwards of $800+. If you have furniture that has to be taken apart you may want to go with a more commercial moving company with a reputation they care about. I will NEVER refer or support Frank's business again. read more

Moving, in general, is not easy or fun. It definitely doesn't get any better to move in the middle of a pandemic. Regardless, Moving with Caution and Care was available for my local move in June. Unfortunately, I don't remember the names of the two movers that helped me, but they were great. They arrived on time, were very polite, and adhered to the social distancing/masking guidelines. Everything really was handled with caution and care. They took their time with larger pieces of furniture, ensuring items were wrapped up with blankets if necessary and the walls were not scuffed up. Despite this, they were quick and efficient at loading and unloading. The price ended up being much lower than I had anticipated (score!). Frank does not joke around. He arrived early for loading, arrived early for unloading, and despite summer temperatures - he worked efficiently. I've now experienced two moving companies, Frank and another, and Frank is top notch. I call myself a "Karen", with "Karen unrealistic expectations" (I'm a hard woman to please!) and Frank met those expectations. Price, flexibility, and care. Check, check, check. My move was a 3 bedroom home from California to New Mexico, 26 foot truck filled to the top. Frank is a hardworking machine - I love it. My last long distance move was an absolute nightmare, so when I was looking for a mover this time around I was very, very cautious. After reading the reviews on here I booked Frank and his crew for my move from Sacramento to Seattle, and held my breath. Throughout the pre-move process Frank was always responsive, answered all my questions, and even took time on a holiday to talk with me on the phone about the details. I was impressed and optimistic. The day of the move Frank showed up right on time with Diego, and even though it was raining they loaded all my stuff quickly with no fuss, hassle, or belly aching. It was as smooth as I could have hoped for. The plan was for me to leave and then meet them in three days to unload, since it would take me two days to get there, get the keys, etc. Once I arrived I texted Frank to make sure he was on the road and he surprised me by telling me he was actually already in Seattle. They had left early, and they were ready to unload. This was an entire day early from what we had agreed upon, so I was beside myself in disbelief. Frank and Diego came and unloaded all my things, and not a single item was broken, nicked, or damaged in any way. They were truly cautious and used a great deal of care. All in all I wish I could give them six stars because, as I told Frank, they exceeded my expectations through every stage of this move and made it absolutely painless from beginning to end. I can't thank Frank enough for his diligence and reliability. It made a stressful situation much easier to deal with. I told him if I ever move out of Seattle, he will be the first one I call. In a world of shady movers with questionable ethics and practices, this company really stands out for their reliability, fair pricing, and honesty. One of the best moving companies I've ever used, if not THE best. A+++ all the way! read more

Dear yelp readers, I had a long drown out "story" about this business with all kinds of "evidence" as to why I felt wronged. The bottom line is this it doesn't matter. It's a "he said, she said" world when involving social media and even when there is a clear a right and wrong type of situation to someone, it is left up to the court of public appeals. The bottom line is not only will I never do business with this less than honest person again, but I thanked him for reminding my how silly this all is after I read his reply to my reputable complaint. He showed up with his crew up on time (even a few mins early) with masks on and got straight to work. Everyone was respectful and treated our items with care. They loaded our home so incredibly quickly that I was able to start my drive down south earlier than expected. Additionally, Frank also accommodated dropping items off at two locations at our destination. These guys did an absolutely fantastic job moving us. We had a large move (5 bedroom, 2 story house and storage unit) to a new town about 2 hours away. Frank and his crew had 2 trucks to move everything. In scheduling the move, Frank was very patient answering all of my questions, and got back to me quickly. I really wanted a flat-rate quote. Frank was able to come out to the house and storage unit ahead of time and evaluate everything. He gave us the quote and honored it down to the dollar. It was a very reasonable quote, and beat out several others we received, all of which were hourly. On the day of the move, the movers arrived on time (a few minutes early even) and got to work right away. They were friendly and very polite, but they weren't trying to waste any time. They got right to work and worked HARD. They moved quickly but were very careful with our stuff. They were really great about not dinging walls or corners. Once it was time to unload, they worked very efficiently, but always took the time to ask where something should go if it was unclear. They even set up our beds without even being asked. As we all know, moving is not easy or fun. But Frank and his team were EXCELLENT and made it as pleasant and easy as possible. My wife spoke to Frank twice, both times he said he would call back... he never did. We both left, numerous messages to set up a start time. Still not return call. Forced to find help 8:00pm the day before move. Its one thing to not return a phone call, but not honor a reservation for moving help is unacceptable. Beware! Ask lots of questions! Frank 'forgot' to ask if we had a gun safe, pool table, or piano, or anything outside of the ordinary'. My husband and I are pretty patient people, we wouldn't have minded waiting if we had received a phone call or a text message indicating the status on if the movers will be late. Be weary of this company! Not even sure if the 5 star ratings are real or not. We had this company, along with a few other moving companies, give us quotes. They offered the best price and they seemed very friendly at the time so we chose them. They were apparently overly ambitious with their quote. It actually took them 3x the amount of time they thought they could finish the job. We got to the point where we had to pitch in ourselves with the move. The move ended up taking 12 hours to complete! We had to pay them of course for the work, but we were NOT happy that we had to pay more than we anticipated. Granted, a quote is just an estimate but a quote shouldn't be off by over 5 hours! Also, we found that a few of our items were damaged in the move. The movers quickly became very agitated and hostile towards us for pointing them out. When we spoke to the owner about the bill and the damages, he was very firm with the bill and wouldn't budge. We exchanged multiple phone calls with him for a few days. The last time we had contact with him, he called my husband and cussed him out then hung up. Rude and unprofessional! read more

It is very unfortunate I have to write this review. I booked this one month in advance with Frank and even called one week ahead to confirm. These guys are ghetto and unprofessional. The owner of the business went off on me after sending the wrong size truck and wrong number of guys. He was yelling, extremely rude, and lacked any customer service skills whatsoever. I spoke with the workers and was willing to wait for them to bring the correct truck even if they added on more time. The guys left without notice after I was waiting for half an hour. Now, I am stranded with absolutely no help and my food, my pets food, and perishables packed and ready to go. Frank yelled at me and blamed me instead of apologizing and rectifying the situation. I'm honestly shocked at how poorly this company treated me and don't know how they have so many great reviews. I had the worst experience and I have to vacate today. Frank is the best of the best!!! I was in a situation where I went with a broker for my move out of state. I had to be out of my apartment by 2/4. I was scheduled for Wednesday from 8-11am. I had requested to make it closer to 11am IF possible just so i had more time to do things, but either way just let me know. After having help wait all day, I found out that the trucking company changed my time without telling me and ended up no showing. Another one showed on Friday 11 hours AFTER they were supposed to be there and were completely unprepared and I felt very uncomfortable. Needless to say, I called Frank on Sunday very stressed out. He moved some things around and was able to fit me in! He got there early and got everything and then battled the snow to get me my stuff. All with the best attitude. I really do not enjoy writing bad reviews but I have to in this case. This review is not on performance but contact with FRANK. I contacted Moving with Caution and Care earlier in the year about my move. I've been in the business for 25 plus years of moving personal property. Through out all my conversations with FRANK I thought this was going to be a match made in heaven. NOT so... Anyone in their right mind would know you don't show up and do a move without doing your homework first. There is a process like first, do a phone pre-move survey or in-person survey. I spoke with Frank that week (late Oct 2017) and agreed to meet him at my storage unit to LOOK at my property so we can decide on the number of guys needed to perform the work and the type vehicle needed to transport. On the day we met it went DOWN hill from there. Frank showed up with about a 40 foot closed van truck. Mind you, we were ONLY supposed to look at my property. As soon as he identified himself I said, "We are to look at my property today not move it." I could tell by the look on his face he was beyond upset (he was sweating). He goes on to tell me (in a not so nice tone) he rented the truck to move me and how he just lost $150. There was some profanity but will not say what it was. I told him again we were only looking at my property and I was not ready to have my belongings moved that day. He walked away and jumped back in his truck so I got in my vehicle and left. I was very disappointed in his handling of the entire situation. Frank did not once call me afterwards to say he was WRONG, especially cursing at me, you never curse at a client or to apologize for getting the facts confused. Had he called I would have never written this review and chalked it up to miscommunication. Moving with Caution and Care may in fact be a good company but I would NEVER ever use them because of one of their employees, FRANK...so sad. Be careful who you talk to and how you talk to them!!! Frank is the best! Needed a long distance moving company to get us from Sacramento to the Oregon coast. Put in a quote request to several local moving companies in Sacramento and Frank responded with a full quote within minutes, and it ended up being significantly less than everyone else quoted us. Very professional and efficient. We had a couple tricky items that we worried would be too hard to move (pinball machine, etc.), but nothing seemed to slow Frank and his crew down. If Frank, the boss, is not able to be at your move, do not use this company. His movers got in arguments & tossed a lot of my stuff hap-hazardly into boxes, some art was damaged. Frank hired minimum wage help then dashed off to Los Angeles for some more important to him moves. He was too busy to supervise & the customer pays in dealing with disgruntled employees. I ended up sleep deprived as the crew just gave up and Frank & I had to move the rest of my house till midnight in 2016. Unless big changes have been made, don't consider them. Also, they don't move any pet care items including a clean litter box. Odd. read more
