I ordered a half açaí / half dragonfruit bowl topped with bananas, strawberries, kiwi, and dark chocolate shavings -- and wow. I ordered the Peanut Butter Banana and Mr Strawberry I have been to this location here several times and my drink has tasted consistently great. I have tried other Movita locations and I prefer this one over the rest. My Peanut Butter Banana drink is black because I added activated charcoal, I would copy my order in the picture if you love a peanut butter taste. The Mr Strawberry was very refreshing, adding extra strawberry definitely makes it much tastier. Overall, I actually like this place because they use fresh ingredients like they say on their motto. Going into the ambiance of this place, it is a very nice atmosphere. Coming from a beach city with a ton of healthy food options and then moving to La Mirada, it's been a hard adjustment for me considering there are so few places here that aren't junk food. The opening of this spot has been a breath of fresh air and a welcome addition to the neighborhood. They've been open about a month and I've already been 3 times-- all experiences were top notch. You can tell the owner takes pride in his establishment. Very friendly service, they're always sampling items, and the place is spotless. I was pleasantly surprised at how reasonably priced everything is as well. I've tried the Rio Bowl, quick meal bowl, and the M.R blueberry smoothie. First I would like to say that I'm very happy that you are here in La Mirada. I like going to the La Habra store or the Downey stores when I'm in their neighborhoods but I live in La Mirada. I wish you were open earlier because then I could grab a smoothie or a bowl before work. I believe the other locations are open by 7 AM. I think you may get more business due to the fact that there are a lot of folks that come from the UFC gym. We're just even folks before they go to work currently we go to Cassidy's or Panera bread for items but they're not as healthy as yours. So please consider opening up earlier. Good Luck! read more
