    I come here because I always experience amazing customer/shop service (Jeff the mechanic is the…read moreman!) and Jeremy is one of the best salesmen I've met in the industry. His knowledge and personability are rare traits these days, and it's hard to find folks that will go the extra mile who genuinely care about getting you the right tools. We bought a wood splitter this weekend. We are really grateful that the owner held it for us all week! We have been excited to pick this up and we are stoked to keep supporting a local shop that sells quality equipment. There were two gentlemen working when we made the purchase, Jeremy and some other guy named James who I had never met before. They were a bit busy and we weren't in a rush, so we waited for things to simmer down after Jeremy rang us up so we could get a run-through of the equipment and load it up. Really no big deal to wait - I worked retail for years I know it can be hectic - but Mr. Jimbo didnt seem at all interested in actually helping when he could have sped things along. He literally just acted like we were "in the way" or we were some sort inconvenience. I came back in to ask a question about a pin for the hitch mount (Genuine safety inquiry, so a legit concern.) Dude just stood behind the counter sneering at us and snapped at Jeremy to, "Make it quick...." Um, we just spent nearly 3k on a machine, can you at least act like you work here or give a hoot about the customers? He apparently gave us dirty looks the entire time we were there, my husband pointed this out as we were leaving, so I'm not the only one who took note of his insolence. I will remain a loyal customer, but hopefully I can consult with everyone else who works there. Maybe James would be better off working at the DMV...Insufferable people seem to fit in well there.

We were told due to it being the beginning of spring that it wouldn't be done for about 4 weeks. Which was understandable. However, here we sit on July 1st without our machine . My husband has been by on 3 separate occasions and keeps being told 2 weeks and then a week. He has also had to since go and purchase another machine due to the fact that we do landscaping part time and needed this for work. I'm sorry but this is unacceptable.It has been 2 and a half months and it still isn't done. I don't know what the issue is over there but we should be discounted on the price or compensated in some way. When my husband said something to the manager regarding the machine not being done in a timely fashion the manager was like well that's the price we quoted you. Yes it was but we were also told it would be 4 weeks not 10+ weeks. We definitely won't be doing business with this store again.

I have a…read moreJohn Deere D140 I use every week on my 2 acre lot in Sonoma Valley for mowing & towing equipment. I was using John Deere Co. (where I purchased the unit) in Santa Rosa for service but was VERY unhappy. After 6 months of use I had John Deere service the tractor for an oil change & new cutting blades. Two and one half weeks later with an invoice for over $800.00 (I paid $2,200 for it only 6mo. prior) they said it was ready to be delivered but needed payment. After negotiating a small reduction in the bill it was delivered. It still had the 3 original cutting blades. I have no way of knowing if ANY work was completed. My experience with Jim has been stellar, both in the quality of work and the cost of repairs. I am hard on my tractor but when Jim finishes it seems to run better than new. He has so much experience with these machines, he knows what to look for when servicing and contacts me for authorization PRIOR to performing any needed extra service. I rarely provide reviews but when I saw that someone had given Jim Ogaz Repair less than a 5 star rating, I was motivated to set the record straight!

    My 84 yr old mother contacted Ogaz to have 2 of her riding lawn mowers repaired and serviced. He…read moredropped them off with an $800 invoice. one mower was missing a belt when it was returned and caused another belt to snap. New oil filter was installed, but the oil was like tar (appeared to have never been changed) Fuel filter was clogged. exhaust bolts missing on the exhaust manifold. Both mowers had to be taken to another repair facility to be serviced and repaired. My mom was charged over 6 hrs labor @ $90 per hour.
