What is the address? It's nowhere on their website nor here.

126 Rochester St, Costa Mesa, CA 92627

How much do the classes cost? The website doesn't have any pricing info.

Typically you can buy class pack that saves you lots of money. But figure out about $18 to $25 per class

Worst gym experience I've had…read more I considered joining this gym and spent a few days researching it before signing up. I spoke with several current and former members and also reviewed the Yelp and Google reviews. Unfortunately, the feedback was overwhelmingly negative. One concern I heard repeatedly was that members were asked to provide their bank account and routing numbers, and some reported being charged fees that they said were never clearly disclosed. When questions were asked about those charges, there seemed to be little explanation available. I also had concerns about the staff's ability to answer basic questions. When I asked for the corporate phone number, I was told they didn't know it, yet I was able to find it with a quick Google search. I also asked who had opened my account and was told the system didn't provide that information. Overall, I found the experience frustrating due to the lack of clear answers and transparency. The gym atmosphere also wasn't a good fit for me personally. It felt more like a social scene than a place focused on fitness, and that simply isn't the environment I'm looking for. Based on my experience and research, I decided not to move forward with a membership.

They have all the equipment you could need to work every part of the body. The trainers genuinely care and personalize the program to your needs. Plenty of parking. Lockers are available with a code. It's a get-in, workout, get-out gym. There are no people, just hugging machines or standing around. Everyone is usually doing something, and so it motivates me to keep working out. It's never so busy that it gets uncomfortable. I have seen people of all ages, body types, and abilities here. It is a good mix of healthy people. Cons: No showers yet (they are expanding to include showers and a sauna soon) Only two restrooms. (I have never had to wait to use one, but you never know). Overall, this gym is pretty well organized. They offer plenty of trainers of all genders. I believe they also do rehab and physical therapy. There also is someone that comes to do massages. Everyone I have seen here is pretty friendly and polite. I have been training with Laura, and in the past three weeks, she took me from 0 pull-ups to 20 chin-ups, 1:20 plank to 3:30, and 15 push-ups to 42 in 2mins, and my strength overall has increased. I totally recommend you check it out.

Love this because I'm always rushing out of the door! It also never gets super busy, like a commercial gym. So if you have gym anxiety, this is a great place to train! I've been to just about every 24 Hour Fitness around Orange County over the years -- South Coast, Fountain Valley, Irvine, Santa Ana, MainPlace, Bristol, Huntington Beach, and more -- and this location has ended up being the one I consistently come back to. The biggest reason is honestly the convenience and the community. It's only a few minutes from my house, I know a lot of the regulars and staff, and after this many years it starts to feel more like a familiar routine than just another gym. Brandon and the management team have always been good, and the staff overall does a solid job keeping things moving. The remodel definitely improved the gym and made the layout more user-friendly. Equipment access feels better than it used to, and overall it's cleaner and more functional than a lot of other big box gyms in the area. That said, I do think they could have taken the renovation further. Adding recovery-focused amenities like red light therapy, cold plunges, or upgraded wellness features would have made a huge difference and helped modernize the experience. I'm also not thrilled that towels disappeared while membership prices somehow continue going up year after year. I've been a member for a very long time, and it does get frustrating watching the price steadily increase without really feeling like long-term members get much back in return. Still, for the price point, it's honestly a pretty good gym. It's not an ultra-luxury executive fitness club, but you generally get solid value for what you pay for. Good equipment selection, decent atmosphere, familiar faces, and overall a reliable place to train consistently.

Irene is super sweet, patient, and encouraging, but she also knows exactly how to gently push you past your comfort zone in a way that feels supportive, not overwhelming. Every session is tailored to me personally, and I always leave feeling stronger, more capable, and more confident than when I walked in. What really sets Irene apart is that she's not just focused on workouts, she's focused on your progress, your confidence, and your long-term results. She explains everything clearly, pays close attention to form, and adjusts exercises so they feel challenging but doable. Because of her, I've already noticed real improvements in my strength, energy, and overall fitness, and I actually look forward to my workouts now. Especially because all the other people and trainers there are also so welcoming and encouraging, too. A little fist bump or "you're killing it" during your session helps get you to push a little more. If you're someone who feels intimidated by the gym or unsure where to start, Irene is the perfect personal trainer for beginners and for anyone wanting to build strength, confidence, and consistency. Training at Self Made Training Gym with her has been an amazing experience, and I'm so grateful I found her. If you're searching for a personal trainer who is supportive, motivating, knowledgeable, and truly cares about your progress, book a session with Irene. You won't regret it.

Whether you're new to working out or have been training for years, this gym makes it easy to feel comfortable and motivated. The staff is always friendly and professional. They greet you with a smile, keep the facility spotless, and are quick to help if you ever have a question about the equipment or your membership. I've noticed how consistently clean everything is -- the locker rooms, restrooms, and workout areas are always well maintained, which makes a big difference. The gym layout is great: there's plenty of space between machines, and I've never had to wait long for equipment, even during busier hours. The cardio section is huge, with rows of treadmills, bikes, and ellipticals. The strength-training area has a wide variety of machines and free weights perfect for all fitness levels. I also appreciate the HydroMassage beds and Total Body Enhancement booths -- amazing perks that make recovery feel luxurious! Another thing I really like is the 24-hour access at many locations. It's convenient for anyone with a busy schedule, and the membership prices are extremely reasonable for what you get. The Black Card membership is totally worth it if you like traveling or visiting different locations -- it gives you flexibility, guest privileges, and extra amenities. What sets Planet Fitness apart is the culture -- it's genuinely a judgment-free zone. Everyone is focused on their own goals, and the staff encourages a positive, respectful environment. It's the perfect place for beginners who might feel intimidated at other gyms, as well as for regulars who want a clean, friendly, and affordable fitness space. If you're looking for a gym that combines cleanliness, great equipment, friendly staff, affordable memberships, and a motivating atmosphere, Planet Fitness is definitely the place to be. Every visit leaves me feeling stronger, healthier, and happier.

I retorted, "Since the software itself allowed me to scan my way in, am I somehow freeloading off you personally?" Overview: *…read morePhysical Trainers are top notch, Blake was amazing and really helped fix my form for workouts and helping me get started in building out my frame. * Class instructors are challenging and engaging and theres a decent amount of offerings. * Equipment is somewhat consistent across different locations. Except sometimes it's a sauna room or a steam room. * Nowhere near hygienic in the male lockers and showers. Showers can be clogged and stay clogged for a while (personal experience only at this specific one) Sauna room is filled with people who are wearing workout clothes, and carrying devices in. Both of which pose potential hazards. * Not the best place to find a down to earth community Misuse within mens sauna carrying in devices and synthetic fiber clothing which can cause respiratory irritation etc -------- Pros: * The main differentiation are in the instructors. From my experience the instructors are amazing, knowledgeable and definitely push you. * I also paid for a physical trainer Blake and he was amazing! I managed to have a more foundational understanding of proper workout form which I had difficulty to achieve from a busy schedule. Within my 6 sessions across 2 months I gained 15 ibs of muscle. Dislikes: * Mens lockers and showers aren't the most hygienic. Most importantly showers are sometimes clogged which wastes time looking for one that isn't. Sometimes, towels are strewn across the floor or on benches. * Showers are clogged sometimes so it's like Russian roulette trying to find one that isn't. * Sauna has people who don't seem to understand the hazards of wearing synthetic fibers/clothes and carrying devices in. All of which release VOCs and pose potential fire hazards from the lithium battery exploding...Also wearing clothes while in a sauna can harm your fertility health PSA for those who don't know.

The majority of all the old members of the Sports Club/LA left due to the different crowds of people Equinox has brought in. We called it the 24 hour fitness crowd. It's quite true. A lot of things has certainly changed drastically after it became what it is today. I would say 50/50% of things happening here are good and bad. Behind the closed doors things are not always what they seem for a 5 star upscale gym. A lot of members including myself had have our personal belongings stolen from us from time to time. I've personally had a issue recently that resulted in someone stealing by $200 cycling bib shorts after I went to take a shower after a extremely exhausting spin class. That's pretty disgusting on who ever stole a pair of stinky worn shorts belonging to someone else. Others have their underwear stolen directly from their lockers while they simply walked away to get something. It's creepy. We never had this problem when the Sport Club/LA was around. Seem like all of the bad things that has happened to this beautiful gym is by members who were previously members of 24 hour fitness. Other than the negative things, Equinox is ALWAYS a nice gym to go to when you're looking for the most exclusive upscale gym other companies don't have. One thing that makes me laugh every time I walked through the front door is the valet service that offers easy parking for lazy people.
