Was the Cadillac burger. You be the judge.

So I may have had the Cadillac today. Lamb burger with mushrooms, onions and feta. The picture was taken too late cause once I took a bite it was game on. Best lamb burger I've ever had. Fries were delish also. Cool place with great food and service.

I was craving a burger and Chicken Tenders and decided to try this restaurant out. I ordered the Heater and was amazed at how thick the patty was. I assumed the patties would be thinner and ordered a double, however a single would have been perfect! On the side I ordered Chili Cheese Fries and wasn't a fan at all! Grind House has the best Chili Cheese Fries I've had thus far. The Cheese on Moxie's was not cheesy enough and there were too many beans. Once you ate the top layer of fries, it turned into regular fries as the toppings were all gone. lol The Chicken Tenders were ok but a small portion and served with a Ton of Fries. I'd like to see an A La carte option for tenders. What I did enjoy was the selection of sauces. Each sauce is $.59 and my favorites were the Jalapeno Ranch and Sweet Chili. Overall, Moxie's didn't hit as much to me. You can't go wrong with a burger however there's so many burger spots in Atlanta I felt Moxies was lower on the list for me.

My husband and I have seen the sign for Moxie Burger many times, and always say that we need to try it sometime. Well, we finally did on Sunday for lunch, and it was packed! Definitely seems like a popular post-church lunch spot. It's small inside, but they used the space well to fit in a lot of tables. They also have a big outdoor seating area, too! You order at the counter, and they bring you your food. Everyone was really nice. They have a large menu, and you can of course build your own burger, which is what I did. It was solid. My husband and I shared a single serving of a 50/50 with fries and zucchini fries. The fries were delicious! The zucchini fries were good, but I think I'd do fries only next time. The salads all sounded really good, too, and you can also build your own salad.

We moved here in May 2023 and were in a burger mood... I remembered seeing the name of this business from a quick drive-by because it doesnt provide a street view. Its wrapped within an off-street plaza location. The food!! The options!! The menu!!! The vibe!! The customer service!! All of these places wow'd me from the door. We entered and were asked if we had visited before and of course we said no... The cashier directed us to where the menus were stored and where to place an order when ready. The food options were phenomenal and surely on point for our food preferences. We are a family that eats no pork, skimpy with the beef and try out best to select healthy food options when exploring restaurants. The food was hot and fresh. We waited maybe 10-15 mins. We ordered "the cadillac" with sweet potato fries. Mind blowing! I had to try the creole sauce and it went perfect with the sweet potato fries.

Everything was burnt and tasted like it was cooked in old oil. The tenders were hard, maybe the meat was old. Nothing tasted remotely fresh! I wish I could give zero stars. I would not order from this place again. Disgusting!!!

Waked in. Immediately ordered. Very courteous service. I already knew what I wanted so this was a quick order. I sat at the bar while I waited. The place was pretty clean and vibe of an up to date diner with a bar in the center. Food came out in about 10 mins. Very quick. The burger was good. My egg could've been cooked a little more (I asked for a well done egg). Fries were good. I'd be back. Getting the lamb burger next.

Great small area shopping center. Order at the front and staff will bring you your order. Staff were very friendly and I ordered the Angus Burger and basket of fries to share. Burger was good, on a bun that held up! I ordered a tomato and pickles came exactly as I ordered. Love they had malt vinegar on the table for the fries and honey mustard- hits both of my faves! They offer draft beer, wine and fountain soda or tea!

This review is for takeout only. The food ready on time and tasted pretty good, but it wasn't the best thing I've ever had. Here's what I tried: - Lolo Ono Crazy Delicious ($9.49): Good, but I thought the choice of bread was weird. It definitely is not a pretty burger, but it was good. - The Chucktown Salad ($11.99): It only came with 3 fried goat cheese balls. It was tasty, but I feel like the portion wasn't that large for a dinner salad. - Sweet Potato Fries ($5.49 for shared): The shared size came with so many fries!! They were amaaaaazing. Like dessert. Again, good food, but overall, it didn't knock my socks off.

The Entrepreneur (turkey) with coleslaw added into it + handcut moxie fries (shared portion)
    Jen S.

I ordered the turkey burger (made my own with add ons so it came out to about $10), hand cut moxie fries (shared portion-$5.99), coop salad ($9.20), pickle chips (small portion-$3.99). Turkey burger was so good! Very moist!! The fries were pretty good. Nothing spectacular but good. Big portion, I would consider it to be around 3 smallish/medium orders of fries combined? The coop salad was huge. Came with chicken (got grilled, but you can choose fried), fried onions, mixed greens (mostly lettuce), tomatoes, onions, avocado. The pickle chips were fine, but not something I'd order again. The burger came with 3 sauces in it, and then two sauces each on the side for the other ones. I haven't tried all the sauces but the ones I did try (the aolis and the Moxie sauce) were good. I ordered online which was very easy. Food was ready before I even arrived (15 min). The person that gave me my takeout was nice. Obviously didn't stay to eat there, but the ambiance seemed nice (a place to eat a cute brunch). Nice outdoor seating area as well. Plenty of parking spots.

    Yum!

Dang you need a good burger? Come here! Delicious meal and a variety of burgers to choose from. The fries are awesome. There is king of pop popsicles which is a favorite in my family. There are even games for the kids while they wait. Our kid begs to go there on a Friday night! Yum

One of the best burgers I've ever had! I loved the build your own burger to include a gluten free bun and blue cheese crumbles. The gluten free bun was pretty decent. The cook on the meat and juiciness of the burger were the best things of all. And this was my first time trying Treehorn cider. It is not too sweet and delicious.

Hey East Cobb, did you know there is this hidden gem residing in your zip code? Probably not, bc I didn't either and I live 2 miles away from it. Owners of Moxie, you need a bigger billboard advertising your location off Johnson Ferry and also get some coupons out there in new neighbor packets. Or put some coupons in the valpak mailer or local flavor. Seriously! This place is hidden behind Camps Kitchen off Johnson Ferry Rd & Paper Mill intersection. You'd think this was a mini business park but there quite a few boutiques and restaurants in here. Not a ton of parking but they have outdoor seating (covered and uncovered) plus booths inside. They also serve craft draft beer here too, which is something I feel they should leverage with special pint nights. This place has all the makings to be great if they only marketed it properly. And I say all this bc I actually like this place. A loyal customer rewards program would be ideal too. Ok, so I've been here twice and got the same thing, the heater. Since I don't eat red meat, I substitute with the turkey burger. This one is nice and spicy, and it's more than a mouthful. This burger is loaded, so much that you pretty much have to unlock your jaw to grab a bite. Flavorful though. Highly recommend. I did their fried green tomatoes, which were just ok to me. However, their sweet potato fries are unique ... they throw some type of sugar on them, which gives them a sweet taste. The accompanying sauce with the fries could use more heat in it to combat the sweet. Keep in mind the burgers come solo so you'll need to order a side. The shareable size of fries is big enough for 3 people. Local draft beers on tap for your drinking pleasure. I know they had New Realm, Sweetwater and Gate City. Would love to see Dry County (their KBA or Lechuza would go great here) and Cherry Street here too. Keep a Yuengling and Miller Lite, and/or Blue Moon. Just sayin! Cost is about what you'd expect. $10/person with burger/soda. $15/person w/ adding a side. $18/person for burger/side/beer. This is a perfect stop if you're looking for a big burger. Hope they advertise more!

It's free parking in Sandy Springs because it's in a shopping center so you don't have to worry about paying for parking. The menu itself is very small so you're not going to have a lot of things on there to choose from but what you do pick is probably gonna be really good though. The menu is usually only one page. Now if you flip it over the wine list is extensive or decently extensive considering the fact that it's not a winery but you have a massive amount of options . Last time I was there I sat at the bar and Rob was super cool and really gave great customer service. No complaints about that . Brooklyn favorite Reuben - the Reuben was a really good sandwich. It came hot with melted cheese on there and sauerkraut and it was a hit. It came with fries but you can actually get a different side if you want. The Reuben sandwich was very good and very filling. It wasn't overly stacked like I'm used to back where I'm from but at the same time they definitely put a nice amount of meat on there so you won't be hungry after you finish. Avocado egg rolls - I tried the avocado egg rolls and they were okay but it's not my cup of tea. Personally I don't actually like avocado and it was pretty much 90% avocado inside there. At the same time it wasn't bad. If you like avocados then this is really gonna be your bag. It comes with a really sweet, maybe a teriyaki kind of sauce, but it's actually good and it helped. I'm just not a fan of that so I can't take that away from them. Lobster bisque - the Lobster Bites were okay. It tasted just like it was supposed to. It was still very lobstery and creamy so I have to give them that. It was pretty good. I only had a little bit but at the same time I thought it was good for what it was. Coming into it, around early dinner time hour, it was fair to say a slow evening for a Saturday. This provided us a fair chance to be able to not feel rushed during this experience. Server and food runners were on point. Server knew the menu and what to suggest as popular meals and what his favorites were. He also informed us that food was made from scratch and the ribs were already sold out! Bummer as that would've been a go to choice! The restaurant it self seemed cleaned and a sleek look to it. We chose 2 fried chicken meals and steak and frite. These dishes were to brag about 100%, wish I could've met the head chef and supervisor on shift to let them how wonderful the food was and that the staff have great personality and professional! This chicken meals were beyond what could've fool me as a homemade chicken made by someone's grandma! The steak was cooked to perfection that could've melted in your mouth. Due to my son's birthday, the server offered a complimentary dessert for him to have! I recommend this place or their other locations 10/10!

The atmosphere felt like a casual new age, better, slightly more upscale and elegant version of Applebees, if that makes sense. Homey vibe but elegantly casual? Off rip I ordered a sweet tea which was phenomenal. It tasted like it has a slight peach undertone to it, and it was the right amount of sweet. I ordered the bacon wrapped shrimp as my appetizer and the fried chicken with mashed potatoes and brussels (I dont like coleslaw). I was told the bacon wrapped shrimp was a new menu item. For $19? They were cool. The fried chicken was really good. It was still steaming hot inside, when I took my first bite. The chicken was tender and had a good crunch to it. The brussels were okay. I typically like a more sweet glaze on my brussels but they did the job. I liked the mashed potatos, they were a little runny; the gravy made up for that though. I'm not a biscuit person but the biscuit that came with this meal was very soft, fluffy, moist, and had butter throughout. It was a bummer the only choices of hot sauce available were Tabasco and Cholula. I usually like Texas Pete, Crystal, or Louisiana hot sauce in my chicken. I WILL say, the monkey bread was SOOOOO good. So soft, warm, with apples and vanilla ice cream. If I knew it was this good I would have ordered 2 to go. Ultimately everything my was good, I had a great experience, and lots of leftovers.

I was here because my brother wanted to celebrate Father's Day and chose this as his place of choice. Nothing says Happy Father's Day like southern BBQ! Lol! My mom and I had questions, the wonderful young lady was nice and patient with us. You order at the line/register and they call your name to pickup your order. I ordered the Judge's Sampler (Leg + Thigh, Smoked Turkey Breast, Brisket, Basket of Fried Okra, Macaroni and Cheese, with Texas Toast, and an order of the 3 sides platter for my little one and I to split since I wanted to try other sides. I ordered the green beans, hush puppies, and additional macaroni and cheese. I also ordered a banana pudding to go. My food was great! From start to finish! My brisket was soooooooo tender! What did the man say, tendernism, and that's what the brisket gave! So did the chicken and turkey! The leg and thigh was seasoned perfectly, and the smoked turkey breast slice wasn't dry at all! It was packed full of flavor and the right balance of tenderness and flavor. It all paired very well with the Carolina Gold BBQ sauce. I'm a fan of mustard based/yellow sauce so I could be bias. The mac and cheese was good, not OMG, I'm going to smack my mama good, but good enough to want more. The green beans were good, the fried okra was too; both could use a tad more seasoning or maybe some more love since I felt like they were missing something super small. The horseradish sauce that comes with the okra did take the okra to another level in relation to taste, so truly no complaints. I was disappointed in the hush puppies since I like sweeter hush puppies, and I asked the young lady at the register were they sweet and she said, "Yes, kind of." Nothing sweet about them; the taste wasn't bad and they were good, yet not the taste I wanted or expected. Nothing against them. I ate the banana pudding when we got home and it was good, yet almost too sweet! I messed around and looked at the caloric count and let me tell you, DON'T if you're counting calories and working on your weight lol! Not bad. 7/10. Everyone ate their food and my mom loved her ribs so much, she bought two individual ribs to go. Minus the high chairs being filthy, the place was clean, real southern and BBQ like decor and layout. Everything I expected for a BBQ place anywhere in the south lol Oh lastly, the price was unbelievably affordable! I spent a total of $35 for all this food WITH taxes! I will be going back! 8.5/10

Unfortunately, this visit was a major letdown. We chose this location over the Blackmon Dr. one solely based on the health score -- this location was showing a 100 while the other had an 86. In hindsight, I wish we had gone back to the original spot. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt off. Every employee we encountered looked at us with visible disinterest, almost like our presence was an inconvenience -- and this was well before closing. We stood at the counter for about five minutes before anyone acknowledged us. The employee who eventually took our order was patient while we decided, but she spoke so quietly that it was hard to hear her. The biggest disappointment, though, was the food. It came out cold, which was surprising and frustrating. I know and love BBQ, and temperature plays a huge role in flavor. Even assuming all locations receive food from the same distributor, this meal tasted noticeably different -- and not in a good way. The cold temperature absolutely impacted the experience. To make matters worse, the condiment station was messy and unclean. When I picked up our food, I thanked the employee and wished him a good day, only to be completely ignored. That small interaction really summed up the overall lack of hospitality. We walked away extremely disappointed, especially given that this was meant to be a celebratory post-birthday meal. I will absolutely have City Barbeque again -- just not at this location.

Chicken wings - I got the chicken wings and fries. The fries felt like, well I guess tasted like, they had been sitting out. So I am almost certain that they weren't fresh. The chicken was crunchy and crispy so that was good. But I got the garlic parmesan and you could actually tell that parmesan that was sprinkling on had been sitting because it started to Brown a little bit instead of being the normal color of Parmesan cheese. So I know that the wings had been sitting for a minute as well. They weren't bad but I know they could have been a lot better if they were more fresh. Shrimp - The shrimp were all right. They were maybe a little too. Well done but that wasn't the end of the world. I got tartar sauce cuz they don't have cocktail sauce there. And they were actually pretty big in size so that was good. But it wasn't something I had to happen and I need to run home and talk about. Overall it was good, but it was really just okay. There could have been better spots but this one was a quick option that I had yet to try.

The wings and rice were decent. The serve was fast. It's not the best restaurant but it's…read moredefinitely the worst either.

Very clean & vibey spot; the decor is very cute and cozy, they dim the lights after a certain time I'm assuming, loved it. Definitely have to come back and try other items out. Here's what we ordered: * braised short ribs - strong 7/8, i didn't like the veggies as much but flavor wise, very yummy. * honey roasted chicken - oouuu, a very strong 8/9, the sauce was amazing; veggies, everything was sooooo yum. * Caesar salad - strong 7/8 (wish it was more but we did split 1 just to try it out first) * Mac & cheese - the only item we did not like 1 bit. Dry, cold and no flavor :( * sweet & spicy Brussels - strong 8/9, they weren't spicy at all but the sauce was yummy! * drinks - GREAT! Strong 8/9 for both 1) cherry limeaid (no alcohol) 2) obsession (with alcohol) Great experience, Destiny was really great. She went over tonight's specials but we had already make up our minds on what we wanted, very kind and attentive lady.

Soft music and excellent service. The entire staff was so accommodating and the vibes were really good. The food was disheartening to say the least. While the short rib was cooked well the flavors were horrible. The food lacked seasoning and the purple sauce just wasn't it. The other patrons of my party didn't say anything about their food but no one finished and no one asked for a to go box. Also the food came out near room temperature... Parking was slightly difficult and in some lots you have to pay. There's nothing convincing me to come back.

The bowl options looked fresh, flavorful, and perfect for a quick but satisfying meal. We arrived around 11:45 a.m., just before the lunch rush. I ordered the barbecue chicken bowl with black rice. Overall, my bowl was pretty good. The portions were solid, the ingredients tasted fresh, and it was filling without feeling heavy. My coworkers ordered the Greek bowl and what I believe was a teriyaki style bowl. The only strong feedback we had was regarding the seasoning on the Greek bowl. I noticed the seasoning appeared to be sprinkled on top of the chicken after the bowl was assembled. I think if the chicken were tossed in the seasoning beforehand, it would create a more impactful flavor throughout. As it was, my coworker felt the bowl leaned slightly bland because the seasoning did not fully incorporate. What truly stood out to me was the customer service. I believe the owner came in while we were there, and he was incredibly pleasant and hands on. As the lunch crowd grew, it was clear he remembered returning customers and even their usual orders. That level of attentiveness makes a difference. I would definitely return to try more menu options. Next time, I may ask for extra sauce or seasoning to give the bowl a stronger flavor boost. Overall, it is a great lunch spot with solid bowl options in Sandy Springs

Everything was outstanding, especially the egg. No wonder this is Michelin recommended! We then met chef Jared and he is amazing. The care and craft he puts in to his food makes sense hearing his stories, especially that he serves the art community with specialized food to match the art on display; what a cool concept! He even assisted us in buying a piece on display from a local artist. As yes, they have local art up on display - a great idea for a restaurant! Note for parking: use the valet. At first there was a mix up with who was serving us do we got explained the drink menu twice. After our appetizer, we waited about 30-40 minutes for the rest of our items which took longer than we thought. They did give us some house made popcorn to keep us busy. Jahjoy pork belly: Tasty & tendor. I loved the papaya salad which left a refreshing contrast. A bit too saucy for me. Flavors were strong. Squid ink bucatini: our favorite! Must get dish - bucatini is perfectly al dente & the spicy sauce was very flavorful. Jumbo shrimp was delicious, and the anchovy on top left a nice strong flavor. Red snapper: This has some Vietnamese influences with the sauce. It was a lighter dish which was just OK for me, I would have liked the fish to have a crispier skin. Not much flavor besides the sauce which is inspired by canh chua. Wagyu flank steak: cooked to perfection and flavored well, loved the celery puree which was much tastier than we expected celery to be. Dessert was mint chocolate cake which was very tasty. I wish the cake was softer and meltier in the center but it was still good. Malt gelato was delicious. Could def taste the mintiness. Creme pat along the edges was a nice add to the cake with cacao nibs and popcorn for a textural contrast. I enjoyed it!! Overall we had a great meal and could tell the ingredients were very fresh. The presentation for all the dishes was beautiful!! We can tell the chef puts care in his food :) Appreciated the personal touch - they gave a handwritten card to my husband for his birthday!
