I love going to a salon where you can chit-chat with the woman doing your nails and this was totally the place for that! Fusion Salon had great ambiance and was well maintained despite the fact they were in the process of replacing the floors. I'll definitely go again and would recommend it to any of my local friends. I waited two hours before she even started working on my hair. She had three other clients a head of me and didn't even have them started yet. Finally when she started working on my hair I told her what I wanted, a simple look. She started bleaching my hair, I didn't think anything of it because I'm not a hairdresser. She didn't bleach my entire head THANK GOD! She only bleached some of my hair. While I was waiting, she continued to work on the other ladies in front of me. One of the ladies appointment started at 11 AM and she didn't leave until 6 PM. This customer and I started talking, and she was just voicing all of her frustration for waiting so long. There was another lady that came in before her and she didn't leave until 5 PM. They were both pretty upset, they were more upset that she kept on answering her personal cell phone and stopping in the middle of doing someone's hair to talk to someone. If you're running that behind you should just be focusing on the task at hand which is doing someone's hair. Get that person done out the door and onto the next. This salon recently opened, I would say it's been open for at least 8 to 10 months. If you look on Facebook she has a lot of good reviews, I think most of the reviews are a lot of her friends and not actual clients off the street. She has posted pictures of her work, and she does have some skill. The beauty salon is absolutely beautiful, the aesthetic is very nice, and has very glam look. When she finally finished with the lady before me she finish off my hair, instead of the nice simple look I was going for I now have red hair. I don't have a problem with red hair, it just doesn't look good on me and it's not why I asked for . Especially for the price- I was expecting way better. I will NEVER go back. If you're in a rush and need your hair done quickly don't even bother. She's a nice lady, but she does not know how to book her appointments out to give her enough time to help the client in front of her. If she's the only hairdresser it should be by appointment only, and not take walk-ins. She alNeedless to say I should've stuck with my regular hairdresser, I just didn't want to travel all the way to Worcester. I spent $150+ for my hair, and I absolutely hate it. I called and asked for an appointment with a Rachel and when they said she no longer worked there I booked with another stylist. I got Tara. I asked for only a little trim because I'm growing my hair out from a pixie and I SPECIFICALLY told her I did NOT want the layers on the left (fuller) side of my hair shorter than the right side. She started cutting and I mentioned she was cutting a lot off, she simply said it was dead and she had to so I let it go. I was sad but I let it go. I declined a blow dry and went home with wet hair. When my hair dried not only did I realize the inches she took off, but what did I discover?! The layers on the left side of my hair are WAY SHORTER than the right side! Also they flip out in a ridiculous way because she cut through a curl in a weird way. I look lopsided and ridiculous. I'm SO disappointed and furious.

Arrived and was welcomed and told I would be taken care of soon, was offered a drink and wasn't long before I was at a chair getting a wash. The hairdressers was super friendly and explained what she was doing as she cut, also said she would stop mid-cut and see if I liked it or wanted more taken off. The end result was great! My head felt light and comfortable (I had long hair) and I loved my trim and new layers. The cost? $28 (plus tip), asked about color and she said the cost would be $60, not bad, will have to return when I have more time.
