So you know the usual auto shop scam where they fix the problem you paid them to fix and when you get your car back something else gets broken? Yeah Bird's Auto Shop does this. I ask them to fix my brakes and when I got my car back, my transmission was broken. I never had a problem with it for 2 years until I brought it there. I'm sure my transmission was original because then if I went back and complained, their reason would be, "it's old, it's time to replace it" Like $1400 isnt enough for them to scam me. To get a transmission swapped, means I have to pay around $2000. Yeah maybe I need that money for food? Maybe visit my family who I havent seen in 3 years. Out of all the parts, they had to fuck up my transmission so I would be forced to go back and pay them more money. So I called them about it, and I told them something was wrong with my transmission after I got it. BILL said his mechanic noticed something wrong with the transmission. First of all, why would he be checking under there? I just told them to replace my brakes. Second, why didnt he tell me when I picked up the car? DO YOU KNOW HOW DANGEROUS IT IS TO BE DRIVING WITH A BROKEN TRANSMISSION? AND YOU GUYS FUCKED IT UP? FUCKED IT UP SO YOU WOULD SUCK MY MONEY OUT OF MY BANK ACCOUNT. "Sure let's break something so we could earn more money when he comes back." That's their motto in life and their shop. This place is a scam. And to think someone referred me to this place. They told me it wouldn't be a problem, although it might take a few hours to get done. When I arrived, I didn't have a ride home, so I planned on waiting. The staff was professional from start to finish and kept me updated throughout the process, which I really appreciated. The waiting area was comfortable, with a nice place to sit, watch TV, and even get some work done on my laptop while I waited. The time went by much easier than expected. Most importantly, they did a great job with the alignment. It's not always easy finding a shop that's willing and able to work on vehicles with aftermarket modifications, so it was refreshing to deal with a team that knew what they were doing and didn't make it a hassle. Overall, a great experience with friendly, professional people who communicate well and take care of their customers. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend GW Tire and will definitely use them again in the future.

First, a disclaimer: I've never needed/wanted an auto body repair service. I've been lucky, and…read morehave never driven anything so fancy that required this kind of work. But back in 2018, I made a somewhat questionable decision of leasing a car. It made sense at the time: short commute, job future was somewhat uncertain. I needed a low monthly payment and car to get me back and forth. Things are (I think) more stable now, and the lease, back in March, was maturing. Over the last couple of years, it had incurred a little bit of damage from shopping carts, other car doors, and possibly another bumper in the back panel. I needed to get these problems solved before returning it to the dealership; which leads me to my next questionable decision, well, actually, it was a lousy decision. While out for groceries, and a friendly, young guy drove up and said that he was starting his own dent repair service, and that he could fix my dings and dents for a reasonable fee. His name was Cody, and I called him a short time later to talk about his dent removal service in greater detail. We met again so he could assess the job, and came to find he lived right around the corner from me. I had no reason to think he was a scammer, or even just a bad repairman...but I'll get to the point: he was one or both. I just didn't know it at the time. He did everything right: he told me about his family, and thought it was interesting that we were neighbors, and he peeked in the driver's side door frame for info on the paint color, and said he'd run out to his store to get it, and he'd meet me in my driveway to fix my cosmetic issues. He showed up a short time later with his dad, John, and they began work. A short time later, I peeked out and gasped at all the body filler all over the car. It was excessive for all but one of the dents. They painted the car and called me out to take a look, and I felt massive remorse. I could still see the sizable dent in the rear (it was about the size of grapefruit), and the paint on all of the dings on the side clearly did not match the existing paint of the car. I mentioned this to them, though I am not great in these sorts of scenarios, and the father, very crankily said, "it will dry just FINE, ok? We're done here, Cody, let's go." I was floored. It did not dry fine. It was dull and lacked dimensionality. So I called Cody and told him I was unaccustomed to complaining, as well as body work, but I had to return the car in a couple of weeks, and I was worried. He said that he wanted to have a good relationship, since we're neighbors, so he came back a few days later on his own. And for the love of god, he actually made all of the problems worse. It was bitterly cold that day, and he blamed the weather, and I'm sure that didn't help. But the bigger issue was that Cody sucked at this particular task. He promised he'd be back when the weather broke. Weeks went by, and I called for a lease extension to cope, and Dent Boy and his Dad finally showed, to "finish." I was preparing dinner while they worked, and after a short amount of time, Cody texted me: they were done, and I ran out to look. Both men were gone without a trace. They spray painted all over my license plate and windows, and actually left fingerprints in the wet paint, which was still the wrong color, and lacked any kind of shine. The ding in the back was still clearly visible. I was sick to my stomach. I got scammed. If you meet a guy named Cody who seems sweet and who says he can fix your minor body work, just call Duie. Anthony had me come in later that week, and took a look at the car. The estimate was higher than I'd hoped, but I had already paid Cody a few hundred dollars, and I felt the sting of shame. But I agreed to Anthony's price because Honda would come in for the kill if I returned the car the way it was. They took a few days longer than expected, but Anthony (and his son, Anthony) kept me posted along the way. They had some issues undoing Cody's damage. Some nice perks: Anthony Jr. drove me home the day I dropped off the car, and picked me up the day it was ready. Even though I would be returning the car in a few days, I was thrilled to see it as we pulled up to the shop, good as new, and they even cleaned up the interior of the car. A huge help, since I have a kid and two dogs. Anthony Sr assured me it would pass the final inspection at the dealership and it did. A strange but happy epilogue: No, I haven't found Cody. Some day, haha. The lease contract's fine print spelled out a litany fees I'd be responsible for, and they'd send a final invoice. The dreaded day arrived. With some stress, I opened the envelope. Somehow, it was a check for $64. The car was in great shape, and they had applied a $500 credit, which covered the rest of the lease end fees. Anyway, I hope I never need body work again. But if I do, I'll call Duie, and only Duie. Cody: eventually you'll screw over the wrong person. Good luck with that.

I received a text confirmation after I submitted the appointment online and then another text to remind me the morning of. When I arrived at the day and time I made and as specified in the text messages, they weren't able to help me. The lady that does the inspections wasn't going to be there all day and there was no one else that can do this inspection apparently. If you knew the lady wasn't going to be there, a text or call telling me to reschedule would have resulted in a completely different customer experience. When I showed them the texts that I received, the gentlemen I spoke with said words to the effect of "we didn't send those." Really? Please get control of your scheduling system. This was a waste of a morning and resulted in me having to call around and find another place to go and do this inspection. I'm definitely not coming back here for anything.

After calling several european car services with varying responses and prices, upon the recommendation of a relative in the area, I called this business. *** Soryah is OUTSTANDING *** and I give her full credit for sealing the deal to service my family's car here. She not only exudes incredible EQ, patience, & understanding, but also is amazing efficiency. She answered all my questions and swiftly checked if they could provide a specific type of oil (nonstandard) I requested that I believed was optimal for this car and said YES. She also was able to assure me that they were able to top off all fluids and do the usual service checks that would be done at a european dealership for this type of car at this type of maintenance check. I asked if they could use a window cleaning additive I had purchased and she said they could try if appropriate. She then quoted a price as well as said she could find a coupon to apply. She checked their schedule and said while they were busy, they could accommodate me the very next day as long as I dropped off the car before 10am. When I asked more about the business. Soryah shared it was family run. She represented the business so well I asked if she was part of the family to which she responded she was not biologically related but was treated as family and had only great things to share about the business including they had several other locations and had been in business for over 20 years. All the other places I called were either more expensive, didn't have this level of customer service/knowhow, didn't answer/return my call promptly, couldn't not answer the questions I had right away, and didn't have room in their schedules soon/didn't work weekends! American Tire & Auto had me at hello with Soryah! :) So I was running a few minutes late the next day and called. Dale answered and said no problem. When I arrived, I was graciously told where to park and then Soryah checked me in quickly giving me an easy to read checklist of items they would be reviewing and said I could leave the special window fluid additive in the car. They called me when the work was done that same day. When I said I might not be able to make it by 5pm, she said she could wait a few minutes after that (!). When I picked up the car, Soryah went over what they found which was not much and said nothing further to do for now, but to keep an eye out for some cracks that were forming in a certain area. And the price was completely reasonable for the make/model/services done. I wish this establishment all the best and hope they continue to flourish. If only they could have a NYC location :) My relative said I'm welcome to come back to visit and have my car serviced here in 6 months! Highly highly highly recommended!!!!
